Replacing something as small as a light bulb can cost almost double of what it would cost on a more modern elevator. On a family trip to Roanoke a year ago, I rode this elevator, and I noticed quite a few problems, like controller issues, leveling problems, and just overall maintenance issues. If you don't know what you're talking about, PLEASE don't say anything.
Theclueguy 338 Well some US elevators were but I do think there were a good number of USs that ran well like this one and it's a shame to see them get modded

a hotel above a parking garage is a good space saver. when more hotel floors are built garage floor 6 will reopen.

Too bad thyssenkrupp modernized the elmwood garage US elevator, although I can't complain about TK's job.
As fine as the kruppy mod is, this elevator did NOT have to be modded. This was probably one of the best running US elevators out there!
