I think people is under estimating the Detroit Lions and I think the lions will surprise a lot of people. And to be honest, I feel like the Detroit Lions, with the amount of injuries they have has done an amazing job to have the record that they got with the next man up. That's not easy other teams, aren't dealing with the amount of injuries that the Detroit Lions is dealing with, and I think that needs a little bit more respect than what's given. 💯
Lions have been getting respect all season what u talking about…they’ve been called the best team during many weeks. Can’t blame ppl for lowering them a tad when they have lost so many guys tho, but everyone still puts them in the top 5-7
@jaredpribyl what are you talking about, yeah, we get respect, but another team could do the same exact thing the lions do, and we get fucking, destroyed in the media, other people, even on the streets, destroyers for going for it on 4th down, we lose a game we get fucking destroyed, Kansas City, lost the game, Buffalo Bills lost the game, but as soon as we lose all this patriot for the Detroit Lions, we don't get the respect like the other teams. I don't know what you're watching, but we don't you talk to people and talk about the Detroit Lions. They're still not convinced that they're a good team, despite dealing with injuries, despite dealing with the hate from the media, from the people I live in fucking Detroit, it's people here that still don't believe in the lions. So what are you talking about?
@jaredpribyl so no, we don't get the same respect as other football teams if you're watching. You would know that. We have absolutely nobody on fucking defense, and we're winning these games, our record it's not fraudulent and we still don't get the proper respect, but it's other football teams that are healthy got all their players and they can't do no wrong.
We will be putting fans in out of the stands if we suffer any more injures this season but as a lifetime Lions fan it has been enjoyable....how well would we be playing right now without the injuries is the real question
If we can get strong push from our offensive line, we will be fine. I wish everyone would look at our offensive line play, if they are not winning the line of scrimmage, the offensive running game struggles. If the offensive is getting stump at the line of scrimmage or they are getting knocked back into our own back field, Teams are going to recognize this and make us one dimensional and take our running game away
The o line is pretty banged up. Ragnow decker and Z are all playing hurt and we don’t have much depth unfortunately. Hopefully Brad can draft some o line depth this year
The Death Knoll is 50 passes. You pass 50 times or more, you are far more likely to lose. Quarterbacks have an all-time record of 112-420-6 when throwing more than 50 passes
Buffalo lost to the Rams and no one talked like there season was over. But the lions lost one game and fans act like the sky is falling. The Lions offense will just have to score a touchdown on every possession. Which they are more than capable of doing. One or two plays with different results and the Lions could have won the game against Buffalo
@@aaronkosharskyswhiteknight5224 Based #1 on great offensive line, #2 Lions will emphasize ground game, #3 Bears aren’t great against the run, #4 Reynolds is a quality back. Any more questions?
Everybody wants vaki but I want vaki to start getting reps at safety so branch can replace Davis. I cannot watch vildor. I will rage quit on the lions if vildor becomes a starter.
That's what I'm guessing... as a 3 sport athlete in high school I had contusions on both mcls. One surgery, passed on the second one. The orthopedic surgeon says it was from being overworked.
thats ridiculous. More or less EVERY severe injury happened during the game not in practice. There's not a single piece of evidence in NFL that shows a team can limit, stop/slow down injuries, its all simply luck bad and good. Keep in mind Detroit is also the LEAST injured offensive team in the NFL this year. Not one starting offensive player has been hurt on IR this season until Monty. Decker has missed two games, Laporta one and Zeitler one no one else has missed a game due to being hurt which is almost hard to believe. In fact last game they had the exact same starters as week one which NO OTHER NFL team could say. If injuries were something you can control (they are NOT) why can they control offensive but not defensive? I will answer that, you can't its all luck. If you could control it you would be worth millions to a team as teams have tried (and failed) numerous times in past as there's no evidence out there showing its the case. Few years back Chip Kelly tried by tracking players sleep, practice, hydration, steps, etc and yet his team suffered injuries at same rate as every team showing NO way he could control it.
There are ways to minimize injuries and teams do utilize certain tactics in doing so. Every game played is another chance for an injury to happen. If you rest your players you minimize injuries because obviously the players aren’t playing. And reports are that the lions practice at game like speeds and intensity. Zadarius smith said so himself, along with other players.. so essentially the lions are playing “more games than other teams” in a sense… which means injury is more likely . In correlation to the chance of an injury happening…
I think some of the issue is Brad likes to sign players who are very injury prone to get a discount, also they play every snap with max effort from week one and I’m sure they practice hard as well. It’s a long season I wouldn’t mind seeing a little bit more of sitting starters when we’re up 2 scores in the 4th next season. Also we need some o line depth so badly
We're decimated on defense. People talking SB and NFC Championship are being homers. Every single playoff game is going to be an uphill battle and right now I don't see us as "a lock" against teams like the Packers or Vikings, let alone teams like the Eagles. Y'all stay wishful but I'm being realistic here.
You don't know that you are a fan you don't know these guys heart and determination to get it done which they will and it will be the greatest story in All of Sports history watch it's DVE fa life!!
@JewelJefferson-n9x lol OK buddy. One comment sounds pragmatic the other sounds like their living in fantasy land. Next man up only works for so long. Eventually you are playing people that don’t belong in the league and who can’t hang against top competition.
We will be putting fans in out of the stands if we suffer any more injures this season but as a lifetime Lions fan it has been enjoyable....how well would we be playing right now without the injuries is the real question
Craig Reynolds is on Deck! Yall just dont know.. He ready

Craig Reynolds is a very good back......and a good example of what happens on the rest of the team.
And, they Lions coaches have raved about Vaki. Tough runner.
Jermar Jefferson average 4.9 yards in 2021 with a Worse O-line

Hope to have dmo back but that running back room is crazy deep.
The injuries definitely are becoming a big conern but if there was ever a team that could do it its these guys
Reynolds will get 50-75 total yards against the Bears.
based on what? please get some help with the copium bruh
And a TD
Maybe 2 TD

@arthurfonzarelli9828 some of these Could possibly be overuse injuries. That starts in practice...not on the field.
Dmo was power but he was quick also I like Craig but he's slow and nowhere near as shifty
