Here's all the castles & fortresses from Super Mario World for the SNES remade in the Super Mario World Style. I recorded the levels a little out of order, but regardless, all the castles & fortress are in this video. These levels were made in Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch & all footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps. Enjoy, like and please subscribe if you would like to see more.

Examples of good games to remake would be games like Cuphead, Metroid, Sonic, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, MegaMan, Castlevania & Contra.

For the last level you could have made bowser's clowncar required to proceed without the need for a clear condition

Here’s a few things I’d change if I were to make this:
-Semisolids would be used to replicate the background that showcases pillars and a black wall in some areas. (It seems you only attempted this at 11:35 with mushroom platforms)
-The ball and chains would be comprised of large spike balls on tracks rather than fire bars.
-The thwimps would be munchers on tracks.
-Vanilla fortress would be in the night castle theme and the fish bones would be on tracks to emulate their original AI.
-The Reznors would be big fire piranha plants, since Reznors are 2x2 in the original.
-The lil’ sparkies would have wings so as to be faster than the hotheads, like in the original.
-Larry’s fight would’ve had 3 podoboos.
As for the final castle, I would’ve made that into 2 separate levels so as to avoid it from being so messy.
Part 1 would’ve been the 8 rooms (except for the one with the fish bones, since I couldn’t place water)
Part 2 would begin in the Ninji room, only that it’d be in the night ghost house so that it could be dark like in the original.
The Bowser fight would be 3 phases in the night airship theme, since that depicts a thunderstorm like the original fight did.
The first phase would just be small bowser in a clown car.
The second phase would be the same, only with a grinder and a few fire bars to emulate a big steelie.
I’m not too sure about the final phase though, since Bowser bounces in his clown car. Maybe put Bowser on a thwomp whose in the clown car? (He wouldn’t be able to throw bob-mobs though)
After each phase, you’d be rewarded a mushroom.
Once the fight’s over, there’d be a few fireworks (once again like in the original) and the level would end.
Lifeform Lover I would do bowser in a cloud because he stays in the air and it looks like he’s bouncing when you put him on the ground
And put wings on him
Finally it's the right game style!!!

Larry's lava bubbles and skewers don't even have time to show up
There were Lava Bubbles, but I ran through it too quickly and there were skewers, but again I ran through it before they could come down.

Maybe for the first Castle, the part with the auto scroll could’ve been a custom scroll. That way it wouldn’t scroll down and you could see the pillar things easier

Just saying, you could have used blue spike tops instead of the lava bubbles for the Li’l Sparkies and Hotheads.
Yeah, but Lava bubbles look closer to Li'l Sparkies and Hotheads than Blue Spike Tops.
Dark Lord Chaos On the line of those 2 enemies, in the original game, lil’ sparkies were faster than hotheads. You could’ve emulated this by giving them wings.
