@@SailingBeaver , loved the bbq on the Thor Heyerdahl island. Can’t imagine how that must of felt to have been there, under your own power, yet also must have a sense of vulnerability at the same time. Let us know what that’s like! Cheers to more videos in the future. The two of you are very authentic and refreshing to watch and explore the world with. Cheers, Doug
Glad to see you guys are back. What a beautiful spot. Was confused when you were talking about the expedition until you showed the old footage, I did see a documentary on that before
Glad you’re back with a new one. It was worth the wait. I still remember reading Kon Tiki as a kid a good 50 plus years ago. Thanks for bringing me to the island!
I've seen EXPERTS slice the top of a coconut with one slash! When you get THAT good... let us know! FUN! Floating your chain. Warren and Erica, WE sail, did two recent episodes that featured this. GOOD for you!
Hey, my first sailing channel is back!!!! Haven't even watched the episode yet. It was funny I saw Nicole on Thomas's channel a while back during the covid year in the Caribbean and was like "hey I know her!" LOL
Good grief… glad to see you back. 🇳🇴 here too. Good & simple vid with interesting content. Thank you. I’m a Lake Michigan day sailor who also crossed Carib a couple yrs back. 👍🏻
Kul att ni gjort en ny film, det var ju ett tag sedan. Mycket bra filmat och kul att ni stannade vid Kon tikis ö. Ha dä nu så bra. Med vänlig hälsning, Tomas. 😎😎⛵️⛵️👍👍
Hi folks. Another great episode. Incidentally when visiting these small island villages, it's acceptable to take them a gift of fish, which enables you to interact with them. It's courtesy too. Most yacht channels I'm subscribed to, when visiting, take a "gift " of fish and/or other things. In my experience, rather than see a village, I loved meeting the people within that village. I'm surprised, there was no one to talk with. Just been watching Sailing into Freedom, and Plukky does that, when he can. Anyway, thanks again for sharing. I can feel an "if only" moment happening. If only I was young again, I'd be back in the islands. Take care people.
Another great video. Was worried for a sec with no video for 10 months. Looking forward to seeing more of your journey. Being in the place where Thor Heyerdal made landfall must be so cool, I'm a big fan of his books.
Just patched in to watch from the canadian prairies, thank for your video and being out there. Read Thor's book too long ago, not sure what happened, but at least we are still riding the globe around the big yellow ball. Good health to you peaceful two beings. We will stay tuned. Thank you.🍀🍁🍀
Hi Guys Just watched your video from Raroia. Amazing Conditioning. We were not that lucky, but still loved it. We were there in May. Bad weather and quite a few boats. When were you there?
@@SailingBeaver I suppose that I was expecting an accent like Thomas - sailing with. Have you met up with him yet? His latest vids are from Marquesas. I worked with a Norwegian fellow MANY years ago. Radar. On a fish farm in BC. The VILIFIED fish farms! And... on another farm was another Norwegian, Thor!
