    Everytime Dave is on the show Justin treis to tell him how to play or adjust the game, please allow Dave to say what he needs to say and get out without cutting him off, you do it wioth others just not as much.

      Carabus 03 Spot on! I wish he would just interview rather than try and pitch his own ideas

      Eh, it's alright. He's providing some possible insights/feedback and provides an opportunity for Dave to address any concerns.

    I really wish to play the second ed. of Dropzone. Love the lore, love the units. I think I love absolutely all about Dropzone and Dropfleet Commander. Keep up the good work guys!

    Happy about, 1) Getting a new ruleset after a good amount of time (neither too long nor short), 2) seeing new units come out z'd new models, 3) the fact that the company is doing cosistent enough trade to do big non-kickstarter releaces, 3) just the amount of honest communication shown here. Keep up the good work!

    Great interview and to people attacking the host it is called a two way conversation.

    The changes sound really promising. I was a bit afraid at first that you might change a game system I really love into something less - but all three major changes you mentioned really sound good. Looking forward to it!

    I'm one of those player who brought a bunch of models when they first came out but has never really done much with them. Time to dust them off and get them painted ready for the new edition.

    Oh my god. I seriously can't wait for this. Never really played enough of dropzone in its early days as I only bought it about 12 months ago and getting people interested in it was a pain. Can't come soon enough for me !

    Need to hurry and release this. You also need more exposure cause this game deserves love. Cheaper than any of the games my friends and I play.

    The prelude to rules seems interesting. I really like the air support as explained. I have always had a gripe with the dropships and I hope the improvements you made to them make them a lot more viable. I know the core mechanics revolve around dropships but the mechanic felt almost useless after midgame.

    I'm really looking forward to playing V2. 1.1 was a fantastic edition and DzC has been my go to game for the last 4 years

    I got into the stuff from Hawk Wargames through Dropfleet Commander (because spaceships^^!), but this might be the best way to also get into DZC... story campaign incoming

  • @AndrewFishman

    never really thought much about DZ, only because I have plenty of 28 mm to catch up with. However, this has piqued my interest.

    All the best wishes for Hawk with this, Dropzone is a bit overpriced in my opinion but it is very nice indeed to hear the game is still active and growing.
    The price is a minor issue, just pick this up at discount (the starterset out is great value for those factions). It is great fun and intense.
    Very much kudos to Hawk for attending tournamnets etc :-)

      Overpriced? Man this is quite a lot more affordable to play than most other large army games out there today.

    Could you stop trying to suggest rules or how to design their game and just interview them please. No offence but I want to hear about their thoughts and game. In a good interview its your job to make the most of it, to get the best info out of them.

    I liked DzC but there were just too many rules that didnt add to the game like going to the deck and having everything bein 6''off the deck for line of sight . These were the 1st thing that got house ruled out of the game

    I'm about £500 deep into Dropfleet but lost all interest in DropZONE the moment I saw that the standard tank tactic was to place one tank side-on to block LoS to the 2 tanks behind. Either allow shooting through or have vehicles feature lower side-armour and very low rear-armour.

    • @elinsto52
      @elinsto52 7 лет назад +1

      Only UCM can do that and still shoot, and if they do use the Articulated rule to shoot over their fellow tanks then they're giving LoS back. But we'll see what happens to that tactic in 2nd edition.

    • @emilykindleysides9240
      @emilykindleysides9240 7 лет назад +1

      that's a unique UCM rule for the saber's and rapier's. Plus you can see them once they shoot it just makes them hulled down it's a very tactical rule.

    For me when I tried it I thought the movement and ranges were just silly short. I found the game a little boring. I tried it twice and did not enjoy it at all. I wanted to be able to move my forces but they crawl along. If they are going to make drop ships more needed then I am out. I really love the background and have bought the books just for the fluff. I love the models but the rules I really don't like them. And its expensive. Feel really sad I don't like the rules.

    Pass , I will not support them any more .
