I have the issue with the sticky clicking too 😡 Third copy actually and every single one of them I ended up returning. Looking forward to your breakdown video, I've seen the guides on reddit but I'm still curious as to how it affects the sound and click feel. Great review!
Another great video man. Being transparent on how it is a great shape but due to the main clicks issues is hard to recommend. I did end up doing that thing with pulling my main clicks back and snapping them back in. They do feel better now but it does suck having to deal with it. But it is a mouse that i just perform so well with. I have also been running the Op1 8k for a week now. I think these 2 mice are really great and i feel like im just going to run these 2 mice throughout this year
@@mel0nFPS it's a really solid mouse. I was hesitant at first, for it being my first endgame gear mouse but within 30 mins of running it when I first got it and getting adjusted to the shape, I was already performing as well on the x2h and then manage to get 2 high scores that same day of getting it. I'm curious to see how it'll feel on your hands though, because from watching your videos it seems like you do a forward aggressive claw 🤔
I really hope they fix it in future batches soon, i really want an x2h mini. Also great video, but i was wondering about detailed battery life info on 4k since its what most people will use it with (i assume, at least i would).
Pulsar confirmed in January that they're releasing a X2H V2 and a wired X2H but ever since their announcement I haven't heard of anything else about them.
@mel0nFPS I did see they released some new colorways, and am very interested in picking one up but will not do so if they are releasing an updated version. I would imagine the v2 will come with 8k polling as well.
@@mikerzisu9508 So they had the Demon Slayer collabs in addition to the stock black and white versions. If you're interested in getting 8k polling you can get the eS version, not sure if there will be a v2 version of the eS edition. I think the v2's might have 8k polling but again Pulsar hasn't said much about them yet.
The entire Pulsar line is due for a 3950 refresh. But if you get a good deal on a V2 just get that now. And if you have a microcenter nearby definitely stop by and you’ll be able to pick up V2s for less than the new 50 dollar wired versions they just released!
Still seeing issues on the newer Demo Slayer mice but not all of them. It's difficult to track batches etc because I have no idea how long a mouse has been sitting on the shelf. So sadly it's still very much a lottery with the V2's.
@@mel0nFPS but for x2h es, it's sure that it is safe?? I cannot get info about this from anything so I will really take your word for it. I've been eyeing x2h but because of the qc issues I'm passing on it until I saw your vid
For the most part. There are still a few V1's floating around but most of the issues are gone. The X2H v2 is releasing in Sept-Oct so I'd just wait for that version.
I'm always baffeled by the fact that in NA you lose your warranty if you open up your product. Here in EU we get a warranty on manufacturing defects no matter what you do with your product. But the warranty only covers defects that are caused by the intended use. So you can open a product up and mod it as much as you want and as long as that doesn't break the product you keep your warranty. If you open a product and break it by doing so that would obviously not be covered by the warranty.
@@mel0nFPS oh, I have no doubt pulsar fucks up often judging by their ergo mouse v2... shit double clicked under 4ms debounce and entered sleep mode after 5 seconds before patch...
My local store has whole line of pulsar new mouse. Picked x2v2 for $110 and returned it the next day, with zero hesitant. It's not worth it, especially viper v2 pro now in my country is $100. The only good thing about Pulsar new mouse is the improved base, they are thicker/stronger. But I telll you why you shouldn't buy them. The side button/scroll wheel are mediocre at best. They don't feel sturdy, I can imagine after 2 month it will get worse. The top shell is thin, with light weight that makes the whole mouse feel cheap, cheaper than my Razer cobra. The worst part is the main button. They feel like viper mini worn-in gen 2 switch. The light click feel and sound are 90% similar to Razer gen 2 optical, but with long pre travel distance. I highly doubt Pulsar uses Razer old gen 2 switch which is rebranded to "Raesha" because Pulsar probably don't have access to gen 3 yet. Sensor is meh. I feel my old dav 2 wired with the same 3395 does better micro adjustment and up/down pin point. With limit mouse part resource and lacking of design experience, Pulsar is not there yet.
true but the sensor is meh counts for all 3395 out there no matter if pulsar, lamzu, ninjutso, gwolves etc.i feel like the only companys who actually know how to set up a sensor good are Vaxee, Razer, Zowie, EndgameGear. no Logitech sensor implementations are not as good.
my 2 x2h mini side buttons and scroll wheel are pretty good compared to all my other mice plus i havnt gotten any weird clicks from any of my past 3 copies(have a demon slayer otw so maybe thatll change), xlite v3 feels slightly better but nothing i notice in game and honestly theres no other mouse that feels as good in hand for claw users(reason you see it on pretty much every top 5 of 2023 list) so id most likely still use it over my beast x,maya,dav3,superlight,and aria xd7 even if my copies did have issues. theres not one mouse company out there that you wont have qc issues w its really about which is most comfortable, superlights arent consistent, lamzus are dying at an alarming rate, pulsar sticky click,dav3 side flex and i could keep going

I'm hoping that this is fixed on the new demon slayer collaboration mice too, wild how an issue like this managed to get through R&D...
Nice work Mel0n, I had the same experience with the X2H, I loved it, but the M1&2 were doo doo butts.
Pulsar's fix is almost as doo doo as the clicks themselves 😭
Underrated vid
Just got the x2h medium wired and using it fine with ftip

How can they confirm that the damage wasn't done by the opening up?

Absolutely! They also don't have any of the sticky-click issues that the wireless ones have.
