They were also written in a way that there was never an actual villain. Everyone was just doing their jobs. The British were doing what was legal and catching criminals while the pirates were following their horizons
This music has become the main music I find myself listening to; while travelling, while heading to school, while chilling in my room. It is iconic, British and powerful. I love the inclusion of Harpsichord, which helps the setting. PoTC is an underrated masterpiece, which sadly we don’t see more of nowadays.
It's a sham they can't b turn this into a Tv series..the Caribbean Chronicles.. lord Beckett has had a Long HARD ROAD.. to where he ended up from a sickly baby who no one thought would survive to a man who would nearly eradicate piracy it's been a long hard road for him
@@ladyday8576 I love how many good ideas there are for TV series based on movies. It's astonishing how many good stories couldbe made if movies listened to their fans more and weren't limited by big companies such as Disney.
I love the acting in this scene at the start he seems unbeatable but then that all goes to confusion and fear. Definitely my favorite moment in the whole series of movies
I love it!!! The sudden crescendos after the decrescendos makes the track appear threatening at some point, which perfectly reminds of Cutler Beckett's personality. Love this! He's my best villain in the series.
I wish they had made him a hard ass a guy who was Very serious about the law and had no respect for pirates or anyone helping them but at least show kindness and respect for others. They made him one dementional not a Complex person and it was easy to hate him too easy.
@@ladyday8576 They didn't have time to explore that + they added enough to depth to Davy Jones by making him sympathetic, so it was cool to contrast against him as a greater irredeemable evil That said, he gets a backstory in a book called Price of Freedom - pretty tragic and explains why he is the way he is

Pirates of the Caribbean did something that no other american movie series dared to do. Make the British Empire intimidating.

I disagree, they weren't too intimiadating

The inclusion of harpsichord absolutely made this. There’s also a nod to French overture style at 3:58
