Walk Spirit, Talk Spirit

Composed in 2024 for the Brain Pocket percussion trio, Walk Spirit, Talk Spirit is a work that focuses on a release of positive energy transferred between both performer and listener. The piece explores different kinds of emphatic gestures that pairs groove with highly melodic writing. The goal of this work is to bring joy and excitement into a space, hopefully leaving people with a feeling of confidence in who they are and what they do.
