The work The Bible Project does is just too good. Stay strong and stay true, it is a pleasure to absorb this material and I hope it lasts for generations to come!
I have been going through the New Testament and I have been struggling with Matthew 5 and the commentary. I’ve been praying about it and today, after a long and painful day, I come across the exact thing I needed. Yho God👏🏽👏🏽
As a late life Christian - I am so thankful for your visual teachings and interpretation. I love your daily devotional of reading through the Bible in a year. So thankful - thank you for sharing your gift... Prayers & Smiles - your friend - NanC
I find BEMA and Bible Project together to really help me understand some passages that I struggle with. I highly recommend BEMA Discipleship. For you, maybe start season 3 and they do an extensive teaching about Matthew. I added the additional insights from this fantastic video to my notes and they work together very well.
I was feeling a little low due to a lot of things happening in my life but this commentary reminded me of the eternal joy in God's Kingdom. This time will be worth it. Jesus is with me and all of us🥳
Thank you Holy Spirit for all you have done to teach me. Help me learn to read your messages clearly. Forgive me for all that I have grieved you. I hope I can still be saved.
I have learnt so much from their podcast streamed on Castbox. Really really put a whole new perspective on so many familiarized concepts mentioned in the bible. I was born catholic and married a protestant but I have never been exposed to such simple yet deep and complicated ideas if you know what I mean. You guys are blessed! I have been able to see God through new eyes due to your hard work. Keep it up guys... may more people be blessed through you!!
Thank you and God bless you. Your work truly helps fill in the gaps that I can't find on my own. Your teaching and helping those understand the bible is God's blessing for us all. Thank you Jesus for the teachers you have brought and delivered to your people to clarify your word. God be with you in all love and grace.
Thank You, Father, for creating the Light. Thank You, Jesus, for making it bright. Thank you, Spirit, for all that I've learned. Thank you, angels, (the 2/3rds that weren't turned)... Thank you, Bible, and to those that interpret. Self-less living sacrifices, deeming it worth it. A Thank You to All, who have made it so real.... That this thankful soul, satan can't steal.
I know right!!! Some how, his message has been misconstrued and misinterpreted and used a weapon of division, but thank God for bodies like @thebibleproject that are bringing back His true message. This is indeed the Good news 🙌🏼🙏🏼
This video lesson is SO profound!! I will watch it a few more times because it's full of so much wisdom and new information for me. And I really appreciate how you tie Jesus' words to the Old Testament. It really helps me to more deeply understand the big narrative of the Bible. Thank you so much!!
@@CurrencyTradingCards - Maybe not in this life, but in Eternity, if they are found truly faithful. That goes for all of us. Be strong and courageous, and live your life for God by following Christ so that you, too, may one day enter into Heaven. It isn't easy, but it will be worth it. God bless. 😊

Beautifully put. Thank You Jesus for blessing us so much! I also heard that salt of various forms is used in soil for farming, that without certain nutrients that nothing would grow. We are the salt of the soil (the earth) that makes things grow ❤
1. We are powerless and poor in spirit in ourselves. We must know this to submit to God for strength. We stop playing God. 2. Mourning is not as we view it. It is the essence of biblical awareness of our hearts. An act of cleansing, healing and acknowledging our past. It allows me to view God as He is with a redeemed heart. 3. Meekness is not weakness! Moses, David and our Jesus were described as weak! Every beatitude is given to us to recognize our humanness without Him and how it is complete in Him. We don't pick or choose the one to live by. We live by all of them daily! This is the longest and an important sermon that Jesus taught for us to live.
We both go outside your cold I'm not it's the same temperature but different same but different When we get to heaven and know God's love its the same love but different for each of us blessed is the sinner he may be forgiven
The most correct translation for peacemakers is "one who has a sword But does not draw it". A fight I breaking out and while you can join and you can fight and you can win... It's better to leave the sword where it is and attempt to bring peace. If you don't have a sword - you can't be a peacemaker.😅
Whatever you call choice; free will, free agency, karma, three fold law, it is still the same, good shall come to good deeds, bad shall come to bad deeds and none are immune. That is what is so beautiful about God's plan.
THIS IS WHO EXPERIENCES THE GOOD LIFE “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. The verse is more on if you are suffering because others falsely slander you for being righteous because of your faith in Christ. Then you can respond in joy as you are suffering because the people against you see your Christlikeness. While it is sad that there will be people openly hostile towards Christ and His people, if these people are against you it means your Christlikeness is visible to others and not like a lamp hidden under a bowl. As for the part of being cold and lacking empathy. I too also struggle with it but what I learned from matthew 5:43-44 where Jesus calls us to love our enemies; is that love is not just a feeling of compassion or when you empathise with someone. Apostle Paul also emphasizes love as a verb in romans 12:9-21. Paul nowhere in here says to 'feel' for the people in the scenarios he describes. But he ask the romans and us to do,share and practise love. Even God Himself exemplifies this in John 3:16. The verse says God sent His one and only son, He sent Jesus which is an action. God's love which is the kind Jesus wants us to be able to do is not limited to emotions only but also includes actions. So in conclusion, love is a verb. An act of commitment to seek the highest good for someone even if you don't feel 'love' for that someone. Scripture makes it clear love is a verb. But modern day usage of the word has twisted its meaning into a noun for our feelings of liking someone. While love in the bible also has the heart involved, it is not exclusively emotions. Actions > emotions when it comes to loving people especially your enemies! Of course action without pure motives cannot be considered love as well. Since Jesus mentions to keep our motives pure in matthew 5:8. The other verses mentioned above also reinforces the idea that love is sincere and pure as well.
