Just listened to the audio version and wanted to say as a fan of one of the losing teams today, it's nice to be able to listen to a post game show like this, and not have to be blasted with idiotic hot takes and definitive statements on everything. There Hanzus goes on the 'How could we doubt the Chiefs?' Sunday evening podcast. Followed by the following game preview show where he in fact doubts the Chiefs again. Didnt learn after the Bengals game or v Philly or v the Bills or now the Ravens. Id say missing FOUR picks shows a blindness to what has been the Chiefs era for some time.
Once again the worst weekend of the season, for me. Championship has that power to crush good stories and underdogs. I remember the trauma of the last 49ers + chiefs win conference week.

@@dielewisformelidk why anyone would hate to see the Niners get back to the Bowl. They made it in 2019 and lost to the Chiefs. Came up a game short the last two years. A third championship game loss in a row would’ve been brutal. I’m really happy they won and get their shot at revenge. I was really hoping for the Ravens, though. I totally understand people being “bored” of the chiefs and wanting a fresh new AFC team in the Super Bowl this time, but what they’re doing is incredible and you really can’t get much better than watching Mahomes play. This is a great Super Bowl matchup and it’s going to be a great game and fun to watch. They almost had their rematch in 2021, but that year I absolutely loved the Rams Bengals matchup.
I honestly don't think the 51 yarder is concerning. Had BA not been bumped it would have been dead on target. Plays like that, especially in Shanahan's offense, are not always an optional read. Shanahan LOVES his script and loves anticipation throws. Purdy threw that right before BA got bumped. He's throwing it trusting BA to be where he needs to be. Not saying it was PI, just a good play on the defender...not a bad one on Purdy. Also, generalists missing the Lions finally make it being sad is kind of insulting to Purdy's story. Everyone suddenly forgets he is the ULTIMATE underdog with a movie worthy story.

My guess is their production staff is 3 guys and one sound producer and that is it. They usually use sound bites from local play by play announcers on a certain play in the game to highlight something at most.
Second time lamar gets an mvp and gets embarrassed in the playoffs. He will never sniff another mvp. Not to mention his passing tds and yards were not top 10. MVP HOW??
A coach doesn’t double team players nearly as much as fans think. They might bracket him or hit him at the line and trail but no they’re not going to come close to doubling Kelce even 30%
Agree with Dan on this. These top defenses aren't always great. Great against Miami, poor against the Bills, great again today. Just one more game to get right
It’s a shame that luck is replacing failure to execute. Dan last week “Niners were lucky” this week “Niners were lucky” shame to see this outfit sounding just like the rest of the media. Can’t give a guy his due. Shame.
I get many things wrong this season but delighted to say I was there right on these two games never bought the ravens hype more cause of an afc north hatred can’t believe chiefs were plus 3.5
The Ravens were worth the hype and deserved to be bought in to. It was just this game where they really fell flat. The Chiefs deserve a lot of credit for that too.
I feel bad for Zay. He was the best player on the Ravens offense in this game, and a bad rookie mistake totally overshadowed his great performance. That taunting call was meh to me and it was mostly insignificant. Would’ve been completely forgotten if he protected the ball and scored. 5 catches 115 yards and their only TD. A big mistake away from being 2 TDs and probably the teams MVP if they won after that. I know that’s “ifs and buts” but Zay’s getting scapegoated and trashed as if he wasn’t the only one doing anything on offense. Did he make a mistake that threw away their chance at a comeback? Yes, but he was also the one keeping this offense in the game.
So sick of the expectation that "every neutral fan would/should be rooting for the Lions". It's far more fun to see legacies being built than a random 1-off season from a team in a weak year
Brock Purdy out-Larmarred Lamar yesterday. Proof, if it were needed, that sport is 90% mental, 10% physical. Purdy needs to scramble more in the first half during scripted plays.

Chiefs D has HIGH highs and low lows. They let Easton stick run all over them for a half. Let love play great. But when they needed it they locked ravens top offense down
