Honda did before the 90s, they never really made an actual "sports car" like their brothers Toyota and Mitsubishi. And in today's times they kinda gave up on motorsports and making sports cars, going the Nissan way of making cars for people instead of cars people want.
I didn't know NSX until I watched Initial D 4th stage.😂 As Sakai said "S2000 can keep up with NSX in corners" I did know S2000, and the fact that Honda Engine dominated F1 though, was wondering why they didn't make something like the NSX. It tures out that they did, just me somehow didn't know that.😂
Yeah, non car guys laugh at those who tunes Civics. They probably thought the Honda Gang is just a bunch of broke people who can't afford a Merc, trying to mess with their grandma's cheap grocery getter and pretend being a Ferrari owner😂 VTEC and Double wishbone, good old days when Honda built family cars like it's based on a race car.
As someone who’s dad has an NSX I remember feeling deeply offended when I saw Go Hojo spin out but then remembered that this series has the same kind of logic as modern Fast and Furious movies
I just realised a somewhat funny thing about the NSX from Initial D. This car in the show had 2 spoilers! Don't believe me? Look closely at 1:27 and you'll see that there is a spoiler on top of a spoiler lol
@@fujinomiwa5072 well that RX7 has like 500 plus horsepower while the NSX only has a measly 400hp so its not gonna be much on a uphill, its still very much a street car

Nope that's actually a trunk lid made by ADVANCE (the whole kit is by this brand) in order to fit the gt wing properly
