What a massively pleasant surprise. I haven't listened to The Exies since I was about 15 (I'm now 33) and this pops up on Spotify, reigniting all those familiar feelings. Hope there's a whole new album coming soon.
Rock hasn't been popular in over 12 years. The masses were conditioned to lop up anything with the words "rap & hip-hop" in it, no matter how awfully bad it is.
I am a musician through and through, this is the only song that has touched my soul in two or three years. That actually grab me and told me back to a band that I haven’t heard in so long I’m going to promote this song and give it my all. I am so proud of Scott and what he has accomplished outside, being in the spotlight, this is amazing, and when it makes your spirit your soul move, you know there’s something good about it it has soul and it has matter and has content it has truth. It is amazing Scott I hope you get your band back together and take this thing on tour, I will be waiting in North Carolina to watch you. I’ve played this song over and over for the last two weeks.

Back after a couple decades and as incredible as ever. Scott's voice is so hypnotic, his lyrics always a brilliant mix of self deprecation, wit, and reflective depth... The Exies have occupied my playlists for 20 years, and this hope that I will have new material as incredible as this defies what I thought would ever come to fruition. FUCK YES!.

I like this more refined sound from The Exies. Still edgy, but not as grungy. If they put a whole album together with songs like this, it could even rival "Head for the Door"!

I didn’t wanna see anyone else I turned around and got another tax and came home and was so bummed out so I hope you can make up for it guys come on.
