We met Marcie and Damon at the Fantasy Island marina in Roatan. Exchanged some currency $'s with them. Great couple to have with you and line handle with you guys.

No way! What a small world! They are the best and wow did we luck out to have them on board for line handling but also in case brown went down with his back and D could have taken the helm!!

If you ever see a finger “de-gloving” you will insist on a rule of no finger jewelry while on board! Handling lines and potential slips and falls can result in major injury’s. Another great video.

Gross. We can’t even imagine. We do not wear any jewelry on our hands for this very reason. I hope you haven’t seen it!!

@Planzman1 Our crew all are boat owners. Yes, their actions would have impacted our canal trip, but we also felt that they are adults and could make their own decisions. Maybe wrong of us but sometimes it better to keep peace. ✌️

@@SailingBlownAway its all good, just retired AF flyer, we never wore rings on the airplane, youthe Capt and responsible for your crew. Boss’em. Niki Wyne almost lost her fingers in an lowering the dingy, rope just pulled away, lucky she had no rings on.

First thank you for your service! You have our deepest gratitude and respect. Yes we saw the GWTW episode which is why we don’t wear hand jewelry!! You are right. We are responsible for our crew! Next time we set the rules!! Thanks for this reminder.

Great informative video! Curious how the crew gets back to their own boats after going through the Canal with you. We plan to go through in March 2025 so interestedin all the little logistics issues to resolve beforehand.

Ah great question. Should have mentioned that. They get an Uber from where we drop them off. It costs about $90 and takes about 1 hours way. Best of luck in your crossing!!
