I am glad you made it through. I am excited to see more of your adventures, albeit in 4k and not 1080p. 😊 But still loved the 60fps. Thank you for sharing your lives with the rest of us landlocked people. It is a nice escape for us as well.
I really enjoyed this episode it was a really nice viewing of the Panama Canal the best one I've ever seen yet the scenery shots was really good thank you
Great vid - would be nice to SEA how you deal with all those folks on board when trying to sleep in such a small boat - very similar to mine and part of what I wonder about as I plan to cross too - and all the costs. Maybe do a follow up on those issues would be great
Thanks! Our one hired line handler got dropped off the night before and he slept in the cockpit for a few hours, and my brother was in our quarter berth as he was visiting for several days- but other than that no one else spent a night aboard.
Great video, presently we are in Brazil, recommending this crossing from Cabo Verde in January, landing in Salvador or Aratu (Bay of All Saints) in time for Carnival.
That last bridge minute 18:21 is not the Bridge of the Americas. It is the Atlantic bridge hence the name. The Bridge of the Americas is the first bridge you went under in the pacific side. Towards the end at minute 20:01 that was a US Army base called Fort Sherman.
Hi Mike and Taylor, great video of your crossing through the Panama canal, are you by any chance stopping by Cartagena, Colombia ?. I live in Colombia, should you be around the area of Cartagena we may have the opp to meet in person, feel free to conatc me, rgs
It was something like $2,000 for a boat Via’s size. You also have to provide a deposit of about $1,000 at the start which gets refunded once your cross through.
I just realized another one of the reasons I like watching you guy’s, you make lots of sacrifices for your Dog’s that many people probably wouldn’t appreciate, but I do. I do all kinds of work arounds too because I’m not leaving mine “in jail” with strangers who don’t love her like I do & if she can’t fly in the Cabin, we fly private. I’ve flown horses overseas for races too , and they talk about all the horror stories about things that happen to “Pets” that were flying in Crates, or that got out or disappeared. It’s gotten better traveling within the States with Dogs, but overseas is still problematic…Sailing Sunday doesn’t seem to have any problems, but I imagine they’re only going where it’s not a problem. I just assumed it was more paperwork, but I was wrong about that…many Countries require a quarantine period which is “in jail with strangers” to me & not happening!! 😂 🐶
Yes you did it‼️ Totally loved the entire journey. 🎉 Since you are NW folks, you will absolutely love the Caribbean. You can spend years there to see / explore it all. See you next time. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
Congrats guys!!!
So excited for you - Caribbean here you come!!!!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Gives an idea how there are far fewer yachts going west to east that you don't end up rafting up with other yachts in that direction.
Lovely video make us wonder but… how much cost to cross $$$$$. ???
Congratulations amazing video thank you for sharing. Stay safe and God bless
So glad to see yall❤
Now you get to have a whole new cruising experience,

Aw that’s so nice! we actually did spend some time in Cartagena (we loved it!) but we are now in the Bahamas. Enjoy Columbia!
@@MakingOurWay Got it, enjoy yourselves ur time in the Bahamas, I went to Nassau years ago on a cruise ship, I loved it, rgs
What does it cost to use the canal
It was something like $2,000 for a boat Via’s size. You also have to provide a deposit of about $1,000 at the start which gets refunded once your cross through.
And then, after you got all of the way through, you realized, "Oh crap, I forgot something" so you have to go back. 🙂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Love me some Taylor
😀😀👍👍👍❤
Sorry my English is my thirth language
Makes me sad. You're going backwards. Why would you leave the south pacific? Willingly?
Having dogs changes the game out here.
@@MakingOurWay the south pacific is my dream destination.
