Great explanation but there is one more clause which you may want to add. Refer to ATMC 05/2017 which also adds the requirement for 420m minimum length of approach lights...cheers.

The requirement of light segment minimum 420m , and the requirement of visibility more than 800 is removed as per the latest AWO CAR.
