what exercises does one need for that Sampras tilt? All these guys have an insane tilt with perfect balance and balanced stance. Core strength?

you make many valid points. Saying whole words, in fact having more than one option for distraction or selection, results in those words actually being started with too much time for the decision. You can actually see the student guessing on a couple of wide ones. The first, and fastest, brain process for selection is choosing between "nothing and something", or a default and one option. Maybe try setting one direction selection as the default, and making a sound that replicates the speed of brain process when a player decides late to change direction. It can be the sound of the first letter of the word for the option, or in fact any short sharp sound. You can try each option as default and find which feels easier for the player.

I'm curious why you changed your serve stance. It seems you brought your feet closer together and you don't have your back toe facing back as it used to. It might be instructive to hear your reasoning behind the decision.

I don't understand the point of trying to hit flat into your opponent's forehand. You are just inviting them to crush it back to you. It should be sliced wide. I've never seen Fed serve wide on the deuce court without slicing. It's been said that Toni Roche did that random serve targeting with Fed. But this is just speculation. He probably learned this very young from his first coach Peter Carter as his serving motion has not changed much since his youth. Fed has been interviewed that he has changed his mind in mid toss about the direction and type of serve. Fed looks at this opponent until the ball is released. Serena has said that she couldn't read Fed's serve at all and was astonished by it. For me, I have changed my mind at mid toss also but it's only from flat down the T, slice wide or slice to the body. Much easier to do.

Idk about Fed but Sampras could serve with enough pace combined with the accuracy that opponents had to guess (since his serve wasn't readable) where it was going in order to make a decent return. Now if it's also true he could see with peripheral vision where the opponent was leaning then it matters even less whether it's flat or slice.

What is true and what I'm pointing out (and your last comment confirms) is that it's virtually impossible to have a reasonable discussion with fangirls.
Their bias borders on a rabidity that is disgusting.
Loved Pete's game back in the day. I enjoy watching tennis players today as well.
Even they acknowledge that they are standing on the shoulders of the greats that came before them.
