Ready for next MCU reaction! You do realize, with evolution of PCs and graphics, these movies keep getting more intense. I hope one of you guys knows CPR, because we haven't even hit Avengers yet. Keep it up! So fun.
That part where Odin is holding Thor & Loki and Loki falls reminds me of the scene in The Good Son where the mother is holding two boys over a cliff, one is her orphaned nephew and a good kid, the other is her son who tried to murder his entire family because he was jealous of his cousin, and she has to drop one to save the other.
@@ll7868 I haven’t seen it. I’m sure there are others in the same position. I’m just pointing out the spoiler aspect of what you said. Now it’s going to be interesting as to whether you realise that it might be a nice thought to edit your comment and put Spoiler Alert before the spoilers, or if you’re going to double down and suggest that I’m the one that’s ‘wrong’ in this instance.
Happy to be joining you both this early on your journey! You both seem so funny and so kind. The MCU is just incredible and one of my favorite movie (and TV!) experiences of all time. I know you will LOVE it! And in about 99% of cases, it just keeps getting better and better. Not sure if you have a way to watch the Incredible Hulk but it is part of the MCU as well (even though the actor gets replaced). Can't wait for your next movie -- it's a good one! 😊
The scene of Thor in the diner with his coffee cup is one of my favorite moments in all cinema. Nobody sees it coming when he smashes the cup, and Darcy makes the scene special for me.
actually, Thor is the power, the hammer is just like a stick, just to help channel the powers. He is really the son of mother earth(mother nature/gaia) and odin because odin wanted an offspring that had the powers of both worlds, she agreed and the result became Thor, his weather powers comes from his mom and are within him, not in a hammer...ofc mcu never admitted this, maybe they save it for another movie or they just rewrote everything because they were lazy
Old school comic fans generally say Spider-Man or Captain America are their favourite Marvel characters, newer fans since the X-Men and Spider-Man franchises from late 90s-the MCU era will say Wolverine and Spider-Man, MCU fans will say it's Iron Man, Groot or Black Panther. I started reading Marvel due to a hospital stay for surgery in the spring of 1976. Defenders, Thor and Dr. Strange have always been my favourite characters. I like misunderstood characters, ones who are great as heroes or villains, Namor the Sub-Mariner (who was also a Defender), Magneto, Dr. Doom is easily the best villain but sometimes you want him to beat the heroes because sometimes he's actually right, when heroes have to turn to him to save their asses, which he's done on numerous occasions, it's even satisfying.
Silver Surfer & Galactus are awesome characters, the MCU better not screw them up like the Fantastic Four movies did...I won't even post my thoughts on Fan4stick's Dr. Doom. WTF was that?
Loving this journey yer on. I know it'll be quite some time (even though you could watch it right away without spoiling the movies) but I CAN NOT wait till you get to the Ms. Marvel tv show.
@@chefskiss6179 Yes!! When it came out, I watched reactors who were Pakistani-Americans or Muslims living abroad. I would love to see their take on that show and (no spoilers) The Partition. As an American, that is something that isn't covered in school or general culture.
Destroyer is a uru armor same metal that makes Mjolnir....it requires very strong will power to control destroyer only 3 beings have that in marvel universe Odin,Thor and loki
please i hope you see some classic movies from the way back days: terminator, terminator 2 (especially this one), Alien, Aliens, 2001: a Space Odyssey, E.T., Predator, Scarface. All of these are true masterpieces and absolutely stand the test of time. both in story telling, and (in most cases) practical special effects (not a giant crap show of C.G.I.)
Love this reaction. I forgot to mention on previous reactions you did that I AM a new subscribers to your channel... just wanted to get that out of the way. BTW, the character, Dr. Erik Selvig, is not Jane Foster's father. He's just another scientist that works with her.
In the 616 that Thor vs Frost Giant battle lasted 900 years. They obviously edited it down to a few minutes for the MCU but I bet there's people who would watch Thor fight Frost Giants and nothing else for an entire trilogy.
Did you know... That Chris Hemsworth was actually born on on a Thursday (Thor's Day) named after Thor, just as some of the other days of the Week, like Friday (Freya, the goddess of love and fertility )
the "viking" gods have 4 out of 7 names on the week, the Christians forgot to stamp that out or something when they took over lol, Tuesday = Tyr, the god of war, Wednesday = Oden(Odin, Wodan etc), the Allfather, the ruler of the Gods, Thursday = Thor, the god of Thunder, Friday = Freja(Freya), the goddess of fertility
Good things you watch movie in English because Hindi dubbed versions don't make sense sometime they are not accurate no heat for Hindi I speak Hindi myself but English movies are better to watch in English because of dialogues👍🏻 like how can you dub a dialogue like I am inevitable by thanos in Hindi it didn't give you the feel 🤦🏻

At 15:37 I loved how you both reacted with such shock when Thor disrespected his father Odin. Priceless!

So excited for your MCU journey. Loki and Thor in the MCU are AMAZING!!

Spoiler alert

The cube at the end was the Teseract, from Captain America.
Loki lured Lafey to Odin's chamber to kill him. As a vengeance to his father for abandoning him, and to appear to be a hero who saved Odin.

That’s not Jane’s father. A research colleague.
This one is not on you MCU playlist for some reason and it was a GREAT reaction! I subscribed because I enjoy your excitement and your observations.
Please remember to put ALL of your MCU movie 🎬 reactions into your MCU playlist! 🙏😎 This one, I know right now isn't there. Thanks, guys! 🥳

The days of the week are named after Gods, Wednesday is the 'day of Woden', Woden is the old English name for Odin.
Fun Fact: Thor (2011) is the first MCU film in which Tony Stark does “NOT” make a physical appearance, though he is mentioned.

Norway made a mostly English language movie about Thor but it's a bit horror .
Thors banishment scene was very intense for me when I first watched it... it's like watching Shakespeare of Gods.

The Destroyer Armour can be worn as well.
I don't know if you realized, but one of Thor's friends, the guy with the braids is Governer Scott from RRR 😋

I don't understand why people think Natalie Portman is a great actress. Sure, in Leon, she was a great child actress, but she didn't evolve.
If you think Loki is a psychologically complicated character wait until you meet Moon Knight.
They watched moonknight already
