If this demo was put out in 1988, the C64 would still be in stores everywhere. Wish there was an NTSC version.
Never saw so many content in one demo. Really unbelievable. Special thanks for the Faithless part 👌
That Mix of that tune was WAY more Awesomner than soppy bollox they put out in the charts.
That bit where they fast forward through all these C64 game classics is, quite frankly, the most unbelievable part of any demo I've seen since the 90s. Demos are meant to do stuff where everyone sits in awe and asks themselves how the coders pulled that off. This is one of these rare moments. Hats off, this is pure magic.
The pic at 1.19 of 'I can't remember his name at the moment' has to be one of the most detail I think I have even seen on a C64. The shading is amazing on a 16 colour palette
Incredible Demo 😍😍😍👍
On fire here. It's awesome. This and the three uploads before it are all amazing. They're all really cool in their own way and each has some surprising and impressive stuff going on. This one's got to be the ultimate nostalgia trip a third of the way in 🤣 The effect of transparencies at around 4.04 is i think something i haven't seen before. Brilliant. There's some really cool music in this one too. The kinds of thing that'd have got the TV cranked and me bollocked to turn it down back in the day. Cheers for taking the time to upload this stuff ⭐🔥
such a nice demo and such many pixels was murdered by the emulator filter
I LOVE C64❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ FOREVER ❤❤❤❤❤
I never knew....
wow.
This is C64 Mega Demo
That one is so Good
Insane parallax effects! \m/ X2023 gave us some of the best demo effects ever. Thanks for the upload
How the hell they manage to include shortcuts of games in the demo?????
Did we actually NEED the Amiga?..... Or just 25 years of optimisation by Performers?
This is pretty amazing. Is this really a Commodore C64 running all of that?
It really is.
@@RetroDemoScene I'm still not sure I believe it until I get the disk images. I've seen a lot on the C64, Turrican was amazing when I first played that, and there are many demos and games that have blown my mind a little, but this is next level. How do you make that happen inside a Commodore C64 screen?
@@shaunbebbington6411 with some amazing coding and timing skills working the interrupts
WTF? WTF? How is that possible on C64?
GSUZ
Is it possible to get the .D64 file for this and other demos from X2023?
Download available @ csdb.dk/release/?id=232976 The rest can be found there also.
@@RetroDemoScene Thank you very much :) Have a nice day
