I was recently in Tokyo in early June. It was so beautiful, clean and safe. I had the best time and was able to avoid crowds. I even hired a couple of guides and had them take me to a few spots. The food was incredible and people were so helpful. Can’t say enough nice things about beautiful Japan. I’m already planning my trip for next year 💝 Thank you for an awesome video!
Thank you for watching😉 Early June is also good if the rainy season hasn't started yet💯 Anyway, I'm happy to hear that you had a great time and experience in Japan! Waiting for you to come again next year! Keep in touch😎
We will be there at the start of October this year! Very glad that we chose that time. We like warm weather, but not too warm. It sounds like October is the ideal for being outside, seeing the sites, without getting exhausted by heat and humidity, or deterred by the cold. And see the leaves changing sounds every bit as magical as the cherry blossoms! Great videos! :)
As someone who lived in central Japan and originally from the US Midwest, weather-wise, September-December was the best. Unless you are from a hot, humid climate, I would highly advise against coming in July-August because it's extremely hot, sunny, and humid.
Last few years I\ve had this dream/desire to visit Japan I hope one one day to see it. personaly I would love to be there when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom its my favorite tree
After researching temperatures, end of Oct or Apr would work for me. The other thing I want to be there for (some day) is Sumo. Sounds interesting/fun. Great episode 👍🏽🥰
Thank you for watching😉 The temperatures are good at the time! I'm used to watching SUMO! After you know the system and players, you can enjoy even more😉 You can also see Sumo wrestlers training in Tokyo💯
My favorite time is January & February, partly because there are fewer tourists. January is one of the sunniest months in Tokyo (whereas, January is the cloudiest month in my home town, Cleveland OH). It is also the Hatsu Ozumo Basho in January. Since 2015, a different rikishi has won the January Tournament every year! Also it is the season for shirako (milt). I love shirako ponzu. Setsubun, on February 3 is a lively festival held at many shrines around Tokyo (and elsewhere, no doubt). The Tengu Matsuri in Shimokitazawa is held around the same time.
Yeah, January in Japan is actually busy (not tourist-wise, but event-wise!) True, it is worth visiting even though I don't like cold weather😆 You know shirako....huuummm you know Japanese food well.haha I used to watch Sumo with my grandma but not much these days! I'm happy you follow our national sport😉
I have been to Japan 4 times in different months. My favourite to least favourite time to travel in the Kanto region: September (22-32°C) June (17-30°C) April (10-20°C) December (5-10°C) Despite September having a bad reputation of being in peak typhoon season, typhoon is not as likely to occur in Kanto region. I felt September is mostly pleasantly warm. Most sources rave about April being the ideal time to visit but I found it a little troublesome. I wore a jacket most of the time and took it off for a few hours (hence an extra item to carry in hand) during the hottest time of the day. When shoes and clothes get soaked in the rain, it is more uncomfortable in April as unlike in June where weather is warm enough for shorts/skirts/slippers, more of my longer length clothing got soaked in April.
Thank you for watching and for your advice😉 I also believe September is actually a good month (not the beginning but the end of)💯 Not crowded and comfortable weather for me😊 Shoes getting soaked is really uncomfortable, but people don't expect that much if it happens😲
I visited early to mid March this year, and will visit end of February to mid March next year. I just realised your hometown is Kinosaki Onsen, it's in my itinerary for next year! I have pollen allergies so sakura doesn't interest me, I really want to visit during autumn but it's not suitable with my work. Early March is still quite cold, not as cold as Dec-Feb though. I don't mind since I enjoy cooler temperatures. It's also low season, so plane tickets and accomodations are cheap! I also love onsen and prefer bathing during colder temps, and the seafood is also great during/just after winter. Another perks of low season is not as many tourists, which I also prefer.
Wow! Great Great! It's a really good place especially for people who love onsen😉 February and March are still cold there, and there may be snow sometime. But, Onsen in the cold is amazing as you know 😊 My hometown area is also famous for crab so if you like it, please try👌 Thank you for watching! Have fun😊
Thank you for watching😘 If you have a long holiday in June only, there may be no choice but to come to Japan besides the month even though it's the rainy season😲
@@JapanwithNao We've visited Japan last June 12-24 start from Osaka-Kyoto-Nara-Nagoya-Takayama-Shirakawago-Nagoya ( 12-17) There was no rain and the weather temperature was around 16-32°C From Nagoya, we continued to Tokyo-Hakone-Tokyo ( 18-24). June 18 : Whole day was raining at Tokyo Disney Sea June 19 : whole bright day in Tokyo June 20 : whole bright day in Hakone with food weather 12-23°C June 21 : whole rainy day in Hakone June 22-24 : whole bright day in Tokyo Overall we have so much enjoy our family trip in Japan.
So many places💯 This year is strange, and almost no rainy days during the rainy season, but it's good for you😊 I'm happy to hear that you had a good time in Japan😘 Thank you for visiting!
@@JapanwithNao Yes, it was an anomaly condition but we grateful since we're family with 3 kids we can enjoy the whole trips except the rainy day at TDS and 2nd day in Hakone . Anyway, thank you for your previous videos
Hi thank you for the video. I’m planning for mid November. Avoiding crowds and cool weather are my most important factors. I thought I picked correctly in November. I want to go to Fukuoko for the Sumo championship. Is this a good idea or can I see good sumo without traveling so far? Also do you have itinerary videos?
Thank you for watching😉 It's a good idea to come to Japan in November! I like watching sumo, but I'm not sure foreigners will enjoy it.😅 It must be a new experience for sure, though! I haven't made an itinerary video yet even though I've wanted to make since not much footage found yet but will make someday😘 Thank you for asking too!
@@JapanwithNao I think I will like sumo. I’ve watched American wrestling here in the USA, but it is very different. I want to see it because it is something I’m unfamiliar with, as I’ve only seen television broadcasts of it. I would learn the rules and traditions of it before I attended. Thank you.
Hii I'm planning to visit japan in early March to mid March 2025 . Is it a good time to visit? And does it becomes windy because of cold weather? And does it rain in March? Will please able to guide it would be really helpful.
Is it usually warm enough to wear shorts in October. I just dont want to have to wear pants. Would early October be recommended for this. Also, when do Halloween related things like decorations or things at restaurants and bars start to come out.
Thank you for watching😉 Short pants are fine for early October but may not good for the end of it😲 You can see some decorations and Halloween things from early October😎
Just came back from Japan for the very first time last June. The main purpose was to visit disneyland, disney sea and universal studio. Yeah budget hotels are i guess more affordable. And the crowds in those theme parks are just fine without competing for space and queues with the local kids (except in metros and subway😂) Weather is pretty hot just like in Indonesia where im from, but during rainy days it is much cooler 👍 So its like one full sunny day could be followed by one full rainy day on the next 😅
Thank you for watching😉 Haha, yes, it's always crowded, I guess. Now, officially, the rainy season is over, so it is hotter than when you stayed😂 I hope you had a good time in Japan, though! Makasih jalan jalan di jepang ya😘
Thanks for the advice :) Maybe a different matter, not covered in travel videos yet: i am usually interested in getting to know the country and the people living there. The latter is usually left out, as if japanese people wouldnt like to socialize at all. What would you think, is that totally out of focus, not imagineable? In my country i'm interested in many things, being in a political party and in a trade union. So i'd be interested to talk to people about life and work. Is that possible? or is it a strange idea ;)
Let's decide the best month to visit Japan here! It's October for me😘 Tell me your best month! Thank you for watching✌

and... between early april, secondo week of may and last part of september, which one would You prefer?
It all depends on what you wanna do in Japan but, I guess the last part of I guess September is better😘
We can only travel last half of June through first half of August. What would be the best time in this time?
Best time would be when Fashion stores have sale. When do the stores have sale?
Thank you for watching😉 It's basically before the season changes! Like March, August, November...etc
Thank you I went there Last time in Match but only few stores has sales. So August would be good? (Beginning of August or rather end of August?)
It all depends on stores, I guess, but some start from the end of July. Others could start at the end of August👌
