The Terrazzo floors, I've preferred, but thought them expensive compared to tile? The flat roof sheds water via what method? Gutters? Spillway slots? ect...Great workmanship!
The main reason we used the terrazzo for the flooring is because this is a production centre. Terrazzo is more durable than the tiles in this regard hence the reason why we chose it. For the flat roof, we created roof gutters that flow into a pipe that has been hidden inside the structure of the building. This makes all the rain water flow through the building unseen and into the ground. The goal is to have a clean and functional design and this includes not having too many pipes sticking out of the building.
*i love how the architects taught on the windows so lighten and airy for production but worry is the roof gutter how thats it work i don't see any pipe on the walls*
Because we were using a hidden/flat roof, we constructed the gutters into the inner edges of the building with the pipes carefully placed inside the building. This way when it rains, all the rain water that hits the roof will flow unseen into the ground below.
I have a problem with roof. I thought those type of roof will have problems at a latter part of yr for the building. I have the same roof in my house in ksi and it's not helpful at all.
It's all about planning. We knew from the beginning that this building was going to have a flat roof so as we progressed with our build, we made all the necessary arrangements structurally so that when we install our roof, we would not have any issues with leakages. Although it looks simple to do, if the flat roof is not done properly, you will have issues that is why we prefer to use companies that have a proven track record with these types of roof. Should there be any issues, we would address them at no additional cost to the client.
@@Jacobwestgh just curious, which companies do you use for your roofing? Also per your experience, which type of roofing system will you recommend to a will be client; traditional vs hidden ? Which is better, metal vs wooden trusses ? I just subscribed and I’ve enjoyed your insightful videos. Thanks much.
@@Jacobwestgh Yes with all the inherent waste when constructed and while it exists. This is the 21st century and you’re building like your great grandad? Really….???
@@Jacobwestgh yes I did! And I hate to disappoint you but you’ve taken it a little out of context. But you carry on building like that and waste your money and time.
Have always enjoy your details in completing a project.
Thank you very much!

Is it possible to make the floor plan available? Excellent piece of work here.
Unfortunately we cannot do that. The floor plans are the property of our client so it falls outside our remit to share it to the public.
@@Jacobwestgh Okay. Thank you.
Yeah, would appreciate it as well, if the floor plan could be available. Could I get into with your client pls

There are a couple of companies that we use for our projects. Contact us privately if you wish to know more.
