@@BentOnBiking thank you so much for the response! Was Greenville as great and gorgeous as it looks? I’m thinking about moving there, and going to visit very soon; but wanted to hear another travelers perspective!
I was there a few days ago. Did NOT disappoint! And I just did the Furman campus to Travelers Rest portion. Will go south into Greenville next time. Grocery looks interesting!
Thanks, this was an informative video and we will be trying this trail. Have you guys checked out the Silver Comet down here in Atlanta Ga. I would recommend the stretch between Dallas Ga. and Rockmart. Very scenic trail!
Thank you both for a great video! I need some of your video making skills! My wife and I are about to head from NC to the Swamp Rabbit trail and have been trying to figure out where we want to start our ride. I'm not sure we will ride the entire trail but who knows. As you did, I think we are going to start in Travelers' Rest. Now that you rode the entire trail, where would you recommend someone start a journey, both from an easy and safe place to park and the nicest part of the the trail for riding? Thank you again! You have two new subscribers!
In our opinion, starting in Travelers’s Rest, riding through downtown Greenville to Lakehurst Street takes in the best parts of the trail. You’ll love your ride!
@@BentOnBiking we did love our ride. We parked on Trailblazer Park, stopped for some lunch at the Swamp Rabbit Grocery (they gave us a free loaf of awesome bread as I mentioned it was our first time there). We then carried on the route through the beautiful Furman University and into downtown Greenville. For some reason, I thought this stretch was 22 miles each way. We alerted surprised when we were told by a fellow cyclist at Swamp Rabbit Grocery that we were just a couple miles to Greenville. In all, a great 20 mile end to end ride!
I'm Arthur Bhutic! I lived in Travelers Rest from February 1978 to August 1987, and attended Gateway Elementary School 🏫! Then on I lived in Houston and missed this for good 👍! Hey, I want a Swamp Rabbit 🐇 Hike 🚶 and Bike 🚲 Trail 👣 in Houston! That must run 🏃 on both sides of Houston's Hunting Bayou, running under both North Loop 610 and East Loop 610! Too want a Little Swamp Rabbit 🐇 Hike 🚶 and Bike 🚲 Trail 👣 on both sides of a ditch waterway intersecting East Houston's East Loop IH 610 south of Wallisville Rd, tunnelling 610!
Thanks, It is safe as far as we could tell. If I was riding alone, I might consider turning around at the playground/exercise park south of the downtown area.
Yeah give it time !!! All the Yankees keep moving here that swamp rabbit trail will have to be turned into a subway so people can get around !!! All of North is here folks, call it Yankeville instead of Greenville
Very nice and complete video, I enjoyed it.

Thanks for the info. We’ve looked at the Silver Comet but we have not traveled to Atlanta to ride it! We’ll have to do it!
We are in Augusta and would like to know where the trail starts.

Very nice video indeed. I live in Sarasota and I'd love to bike this trail. Is the area safe? Thanks.

@@BentOnBiking Great info thanks. I always carry bear spray in case of a crisis situation. Stay safe.
How long would it take to walk the swamp rabbit trail?
How long is the trail?
We logged about 21 miles on our ride.

Good video. Annoying repetitive song
