My girlfriend and I are interested in moving to the greater Greenville area around the end of August. We are currently in Arlington Texas and our rent here is just over 1K per month. We do live in a one bedroom shoebox so we would like to find a house to rent if possible. The problem we are having is every area that we have interest in living seems to be out of our budget. Is it a waste of time for us to even dream of living in that area if our budget is around 1500 per month?

I think you could find something in that range -likely not downtown, but in the suburbs I think it's doable.
