I use those cases for all my ocarinas. I was once in a music shop in Taipei, and asked how effective those cases were at stopping Ocarinas from breaking (as my previous softcover case had resulted in a broken ocarina after one day). The lady I was talking to smiled at me, put one of her more expensive ocarinas in the case, and slammed it down. Not even a hint of damage. Very, very effective demonstration.
WOW, that's some serious trust 😂 But yes, the material inside is very soft and I believe is memory foam, so I mainly carry my most precious ocarinas inside 👌🏻

What a beautiful instrument. Probably gonna stick to my Pur alto C with 1 chamber. With the time I have, triple ocarinas seem a bit overwhelming and I would just put it on display. Got the same carrying case though. Great review! I recognized the song sample, but can't recall where from.

Very nice unboxing! thanks. This is the 'forte' version of Stein. Is really loud for a small room so as not to buy and go for the simpler one? (asking for the double ocarina from Stein, not the triple one). The finish of the ocarina looks much more well done than with the regular one...isn't it?
two things, 1 - please review the book 2 - the ocarina looks great, but that thumb hole does seem wierd for us in the west used to having two holes for the index finger in the 2nd chamber

Hey David, do you recommend the Double OOT by Songbird? I’m really interested in it, but that’d be my first ever multi-chamber ocarina. I own a 7 hole and am very used to that. I have never owned a 12 hole, however… would you say it’s a good starter for a multi-chamber? THANKS!!
It's a nice looking Zelda replica with a great sound, but ergonomically, it's a little painful on the wrist because of the angle of the mouthpiece, so I probably wouldn't recommend it is a starter multi-chamber. An equally affordable one is the Double Sweet Potato from Songbird (aka Focalink Dolce Double). I think they're about the same price, and with my code "DAVID10" at checkout, you can get 10% off!

Sounds really good, I have a triple as well but from songbird, I might get this at some point in the future.
So tempted. But I would be wise to improve (properly learn) my playing on a double ocarina before buying a triple ocarina.
