- I noticed the field of view (FoV) angle wasn't wide enough.
I haven't updated my settings in years.
Honestly, it's been a while since I last played BC2.
I think it was around 2 years ago.
Luckily, I could find active servers (Nexus) to play on.
The server I joined was a PvP with random bots.
These bots can be both helpful and dangerous, as they can help you advance or lure other players.
Even if you have a pirated copy of the BC2, you can still join the servers.
It's pretty simple. Make sure your BC2 is up-to-date with the latest patch.
And then install the server hook, create an account, and you're ready to play.

Goddamn this game was fun. These were the true golden days of gaming, at least from 2007-2012.
2010 was itself an amazing year for gaming: Black Ops, Bad Company 2, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, New Vegas, God of War 3, Bioshock 2, L.A Noire, Mafia II, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, and even the 007 game they released was also fun and cool. I miss those days, I was 13 years old and happy...

I feel you, was 15 years old when i started playing bc2. I found myself a nice community in Knife Only servers, it was so much fun. Maybe you remember the servers, they were called SUPER@SENS / Mytyarm / D@GTAGS

How EA managed to go from this to where BF is at right now is a shame
To this day the best gameplay I've ever experienced in my 30 plus years of gaming. Gears of War 1 is right up there with this. Both were years of fun... Thanks for the memories.

there's a text file in the game folder which you can edit to change the field of view. typing a much higher number is necessary to make bc2 playable in my opinion. google 'bad company 2 change FOV', the instructions are easy to follow

I'm playing it these days, for the first time, since I started playing battlefield with BF3.
I have to say I'm having a lot of fun and I find it better than BF2042.
Are there full servers? Like for the US? I want to get back on

I play from Europe and there are 3/4 servers always full.
Unfortunately I don't know if there are American servers.
You can try it, it's easy to install, you download the game and the Rome project .dll file, and insert it into the game folder, and you're done.

In my opinion, yes, the players are there, the servers too, and there are probably a lot more of them than before.

BC2 is still fun, sometimes I encounter some cheaters in some games but nothing that ruins the fun!

The worst buy i made is BF2042
I never delete this game from my system ,last time i played before three months.
Today i played bf4 and before one week bf3 .
Is very difficult to create again games like bc2,bf3 and bf4.
Battlefield 2042 is one of the worst fps game (not only the worst battlefield)
