Picking Seonghwa as the perfect man of Ateez is definitely very accurate, man is perfection. Also Yeosang double snatches and pierces the soul for sure, his rich deep ass voice pulls you in and his piercing deep eyes stare into your soul. YAYYYY! Ateez week! They are 8 amazingly talented and hardworking dudes who off stage share a collective single brain cell. They’re so funny, goofy, chaotic and genuine! When I saw you were starting with their sexy song I was cackling bc your mind was about to be blown. And yep it was Jongho who hit the high note adlib at the end of deja vu! Yeosang is the deep voice in Halazia and he is the same one from that part in dune too! And their lore is extensive and worth exploring in your own time, you’ll pick up a lot of things from their mvs after you have a little knowledge~ The higher tone rapper is Hongjoong! He’s their Captain (pirate concept, the leader aha). 21:20 is San! THE PERFECT MAN IS SEONGHWA. He’s the eldest, and “mom” to the group. His personality is that of a soft marshmallow but on stage he is a different creature all together (just wait until you learn about the Demon Line!). The vocals in Answer are out of this world. I'm beyond excited for you and LOVE that you're enjoying them so far!! They are criminally underrated... To answer some of your questions and offer some suggestions (sorry it's a lot!!): 1. They are (i believe?) the most successful group that's NOT from one of the 4 major entertainment companies. KQ is REALLY small - literally just ATEEZ, now xikers too, and 2 solo artists. And when ATEEZ started at the company, KQ only had 4 staff...! This is part of the reason ATEEZ videos dont have as many views as other groups despite being so epic. It also makes it SO much more impressive just how amazing their MVs / production etc. are because they don't have the same resources as other groups. 2. Bit of backstory, before ATEEZ, KQ was nearing bankruptcy. They weren't looking to start a group/ holding auditions. Hongjoong (the captain, that's what they call their leader) had sent in a mixtape, and year later someone found it. They brought Hongjoong on, started a trainee programme with his guidance, and the other members came along. Yeosang and Wooyoung were trainees with BigHit, but Yeosang moved over to KQ, and Wooyoung followed him (they've been close friends pre-trainee). 3. the lore is next level... Like it's impossible to explain fully here. There are whole blogs dedicated to unpacking it, so i recommend going and reading one of those! BUT you can 100% enjoy their music etc. without knowing it. A lot of their fans, ATINY (pronounced A-Teeny), dont get into the lore cuz it's so much, but i really like it cuz it makes their MVs make more sense too! And shows another creative side to them too. 4. 'Halazia' essentially means "Hearts Awakened, Live Alive, be the light". It's related to an older song 'Hala Hala (Hearts Awakened, Live Alive)' (aka, 'hala' is a word they made up!), and 'zia' in latin means 'of the light'. So the lyrics of the song make more sense when you know the meaning of the name! 5. Choosing an ATEEZ bias is notoriously hard lol. Good luck! You literally liked a different member in each MV lol: Deja Vu you liked Mingi (rapper), Thanxx you liked San, Inception you liked Seonghwa (pronounced Song-wa), and Inception you also liked San (with the dance move you loved!), Halazia you liked Yeosang (deep voice, with the chain) AND Wooyoung (red hair, holding the hat on fire). For some suggestions: - Wanteez - def recommend episodes 19, 20, and 21. They are drinking, and it's peak chaos lol. - Live performances - Guerilla, Halazia, Hala Hala, Say My Name, Cyberpunk [tbh ALL their songs are epic live...], - Dance covers for sure - Guerrilla FIX version, Hala Hala, Say My Name, Answer, Wonderland are my favs. - Possibly some FanCams too to see their facial expressions more clearly? San in Hala Hala and Wonderland, Seonghwa in Wonderland, Halazia, Guerrilla. They are EPIC - they are part of the ateez 'demon line' (along with Hongjoong) known for their un-real facial expressions while performing! - Def find some 'chaotic / funny moments' compilations for sure too !!! Enjoy!! :)
oh and just to add too - def recommend finding Guerrilla performed from their tour (aka like just from a fan-made vid taken from their live show). Even tho the vid quality wont be great, the 'BREAK THE WALL' fan chant is like nothing you've ever heard before. I cant IMAGINE experiencing that live...!! And def the b-sides 'good lil boy', 'the leaders', 'to the beat' - def worth finding them performing this trio live (they do it as a trio), and then can check out the lyric vids for the full songs later. For the live trio i recommend a fan-recorded video titled '(4k) ATEEZ in LA "Good Lil Boy + The Leaders + To The Beat + THANXX"' It's got like 65k views, and you really see more of their attitude which is awesome :)

Actually there're even more people from Edenary joining Dreamcatcher for production right now since Leez left both groups. Even their stylists caught hanging out with each others. Insomnia 🤝 Atiny. Consider how similar they're from dance style to music to personalities, everyone is becoming InSomtiny now I doubt 😂
You should really watch a live performance of Cyberpunk. The choreography is insane, and the Ateez demon line is in full force. Especially San. Watching San do the Cyberpunk choreography is something I can’t even describe. And actually, as good as their music videos are, they are even better live. Highly recommended watching some life performances. Ateez are monsters of performance.
i had a chance to see these guys live, and what i can say they truly have one of the most powerful performances from all the kpop, they are truly amazing
Please make sure you watch their other live performances and, of course, the live performance of cyberpunk; plus, there are other songs from Ateez, like Aurora, Wonderland, Pirate King, Fireworks, Say My Name, Gurreilla, and others. They even drop dance practice videos because it's hard to see the whole dance since you barely notice the entire thing in the MV.

They come from a small company and are basically legends to the upcoming groups in k-pop. Even though, they are young themselves. They have only been in the industry almost five years and have changed the game. There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 1 English Speaker (he's still Korean), but the members try to learn English. Notes for the Storyline: Halazia is the aftermath of Guerilla. Guerilla is the song that is meant to break everyon out of the evil guys mind control in a world where art n music arent allowed. So they literally start Guerilla Warfare n BREAK THE WALL lol. But they dont win n have to inspire hope again with Halazia. Letting others know that they can they can have their Hearts Awakened, Live Alive & Be the Light even in dark times. They still have a bit of the Pirate Concept thrown in (with songs like Horizen, Dont Stop MV n others), but its more modern n futuristic rebellion freedom fighters. This is for Inception MV: Please note, the endings of their songs contain teasers or connections to the lore. Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- with grey hair n showing his abs- he's the perfect man u noticed he's a vocalist & visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (but bullied most of the time) to the group (we love him tho 😭), he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line. Hongjoong (pronounced Hong Joon)- the Captain, he's the one with blue hair sleeping in the bed, he's an amazing rapper (u loved him in the wake up rap part) n a lowkey vocalist. Ateez & Atiny don't call him Leader. He writes, produces for Ateez and leads the group. (Short and Intense lol). Yunho (yoon-ho)- Lead Dancer (love his movements, the blond with pink highlights in inception), Performer and Vocalist (very stable even when doing choreo like wtf) (he's our big puppy and the tallest at over 6 feet). He was leading the dance a lot. Yeosang (yoh sang)- (fluffy blonde hair in the room with violins, the guy with the demon voice in dune lol) hes also a Visual but also a unique (Deep and soothing) Vocalist, Performer (stares into your soul like u noticed), likes to be called a doberman lol. Mingi (min gee)- Rapper ( doing the rap with the deep voice, dirty blonde hair in inception, but flame like hair in Halazia) Writes with Hongjoong and an absolutely dirty Performer ugh🤪 San- (falls into the water dramatically,dark hair too) Vocalist, Dancer, Performer and Part of the Demon Line (you'll see what we mean). Woo young (pronounced oo young)- (leads the dance a few times, dark fluffy hair, leads the dance singing looooooove a few times n was in the room of dancers) Dancer, Performer, Vocalist, always with San (choreos too). Rebellious but loyal🤭 Jongho- the best 4th Gen Vocalist (I said what i said), beautiful Performer (ps, he's on hiatus as of Sept 2023 due to an injury, so any new content may only have 7, not these current videos tho or anything prefilmed) and he's the youngest (he's also the one belting out vocals), on the sports field with black & red hair and is our haribo gummy bear☺ Our fandom is call Atiny, which is a combination of Ateez and Destiny. Thank you for the reaction. K-pop is known for lots of beat switching and lots of pleasing visuals but Ateez didn't rely on visuals, especially when they first debuted (see Hala Hala). They also switch up genres a lot, rock, punk, sea shantys (lol) even softer songs. Hope you like the songs and check out their albums or past songs. I would recommend Desire & the Precious+Treasure Mix, but please be careful when choosing lyric videos, they mess up who does the lyrics a lot. Instead, try the user *sanie's* uploaded videos of the live dvd performances for an even insane-r experience (you'll see) even if in your free time. Also Inception is what made me an Atiny, as well as a random edit on tik tok of Seonghwa lol, so I appreciate your love for it n their other songs. I hope u listen to The World EP 1 full album too n try the user *sanie* on yt for the concert versions, they are OUTSTANDING. I can't even begin to express my excitement of your Ateez discovery. I discovered them earlier this year and OMG. I also didn't go in any kind of order but I later found out that all of their MV's are tied to their EXTENSIVE lore (in which I'm STILL trying to grasp) Deja Vu was my first Ateez song and then I saw them on Kingdom when I was watching Stray Kids and fell madly for them. You right though Ateez is definitely a group that is easy not to have a bias. The deep voice you noticed (yes he was deep voice in dune) was our prince Yeosang. ATeez are famous for their killing part which is the last 30 seconds of their songs, and their choreo (and they are just the best group of guys ever omg). I REALLY REALLY recommend you check out their pre-debut dance showcases called KQ FELLAZ Ateez: I, II, III, IV (

It's interesting to me that you describe their music as "full" because I describe their production to people as "maximalist" - so I absolutely and completely agree with you. ETA: A friend and I were discussing this the other day - I don't think there's a single album from Ateez where the title track is my favorite song on the album. And that's saying a lot, because the title tracks SLAP.
They did some fun Halloween performances too. Look for Deja Vu vampire version, Black Cat Nero mv, and others. Jongho (main vocalist) has arguably one of the best voices in MUSIC, let alone K-pop.

For the live trio i recommend a fan-recorded video titled '(4k) ATEEZ in LA "Good Lil Boy + The Leaders + To The Beat + THANXX"' It's got like 65k views, and you really see more of their attitude which is awesome :)

You should really watch a live performance of Cyberpunk. The choreography is insane, and the Ateez demon line is in full force. Especially San. Watching San do the Cyberpunk choreography is something I can’t even describe. And actually, as good as their music videos are, they are even better live. Highly recommended watching some life performances. Ateez are monsters of performance.

I donno if i commented this already, but hopefully it helps. Take your time, this Group has a lot of lore and information. They come from a small company and are basically legends to the upcoming groups in k-pop. Even though, they are young themselves. They have only been in the industry almost five years and have changed the game.
There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 1 English Speaker (he's still Korean), but the members try to learn English.
Notes for the Storyline: Halazia is the aftermath of Guerilla. Guerilla is the song that is meant to break everyon out of the evil guys mind control in a world where art n music arent allowed. So they literally start Guerilla Warfare n BREAK THE WALL lol. But they dont win n have to inspire hope again with Halazia. Letting others know that they can they can have their Hearts Awakened, Live Alive & Be the Light even in dark times. They still have a bit of the Pirate Concept thrown in (with songs like Horizen, Dont Stop MV n others), but its more modern n futuristic rebellion freedom fighters.

Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- with grey hair n showing his abs- he's the perfect man u noticed he's a vocalist & visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (but bullied most of the time) to the group (we love him tho 😭), he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line.
Hongjoong (pronounced Hong Joon)- the Captain, he's the one with blue hair sleeping in the bed, he's an amazing rapper (u loved him in the wake up rap part) n a lowkey vocalist. Ateez & Atiny don't call him Leader. He writes, produces for Ateez and leads the group. (Short and Intense lol).
Yunho (yoon-ho)- Lead Dancer (love his movements, the blond with pink highlights in inception), Performer and Vocalist (very stable even when doing choreo like wtf) (he's our big puppy and the tallest at over 6 feet). He was leading the dance a lot.
Yeosang (yoh sang)- (fluffy blonde hair in the room with violins, the guy with the demon voice in dune lol) hes also a Visual but also a unique (Deep and soothing) Vocalist, Performer (stares into your soul like u noticed), likes to be called a doberman lol.
Mingi (min gee)- Rapper ( doing the rap with the deep voice, dirty blonde hair in inception, but flame like hair in Halazia) Writes with Hongjoong and an absolutely dirty Performer ugh🤪
San- (falls into the water dramatically,dark hair too) Vocalist, Dancer, Performer and Part of the Demon Line (you'll see what we mean).
Woo young (pronounced oo young)- (leads the dance a few times, dark fluffy hair, leads the dance singing looooooove a few times n was in the room of dancers) Dancer, Performer, Vocalist, always with San (choreos too). Rebellious but loyal🤭
Jongho- the best 4th Gen Vocalist (I said what i said), beautiful Performer (ps, he's on hiatus as of Sept 2023 due to an injury, so any new content may only have 7, not these current videos tho or anything prefilmed) and he's the youngest (he's also the one belting out vocals), on the sports field with black & red hair and is our haribo gummy bear☺

Thank you for the reaction. K-pop is known for lots of beat switching and lots of pleasing visuals but Ateez didn't rely on visuals, especially when they first debuted (see Hala Hala). They also switch up genres a lot, rock, punk, sea shantys (lol) even softer songs.
Hope you like the songs and check out their albums or past songs. I would recommend Desire & the Precious+Treasure Mix, but please be careful when choosing lyric videos, they mess up who does the lyrics a lot. Instead, try the user *sanie's* uploaded videos of the live dvd performances for an even insane-r experience (you'll see) even if in your free time.
Also Inception is what made me an Atiny, as well as a random edit on tik tok of Seonghwa lol, so I appreciate your love for it n their other songs. I hope u listen to The World EP 1 full album too n try the user *sanie* on yt for the concert versions, they are OUTSTANDING.

I can't even begin to express my excitement of your Ateez discovery. I discovered them earlier this year and OMG. I also didn't go in any kind of order but I later found out that all of their MV's are tied to their EXTENSIVE lore (in which I'm STILL trying to grasp) Deja Vu was my first Ateez song and then I saw them on Kingdom when I was watching Stray Kids and fell madly for them. You right though Ateez is definitely a group that is easy not to have a bias. The deep voice you noticed (yes he was deep voice in dune) was our prince Yeosang. ATeez are famous for their killing part which is the last 30 seconds of their songs, and their choreo (and they are just the best group of guys ever omg). I REALLY REALLY recommend you check out their pre-debut dance showcases called KQ FELLAZ Ateez: I, II, III, IV (
oh! and since you are doing Ateez week, PLEASE include some of their Kingdom Legendary War or Immortal Songs performances! I'd recommend Wonderland Symphony no. 9 (Kingdom), Right Now (Immortal Songs), Rhythm Ta (Kingdom), Fantastic Baby (Immortal Songs), and Answer Ode to Joy (Kingdom)

ETA: A friend and I were discussing this the other day - I don't think there's a single album from Ateez where the title track is my favorite song on the album. And that's saying a lot, because the title tracks SLAP.
They did some fun Halloween performances too. Look for Deja Vu vampire version, Black Cat Nero mv, and others. Jongho (main vocalist) has arguably one of the best voices in MUSIC, let alone K-pop.
Just today i watched 3 diff. reactors vids of an introduction to ATEEZ and all of you said how much you regret not getting into ATEEZ sooner, and most atinys are guilty of it too but we always say "ATEEZ found us at the time we needed them the most"
