This is literally the best explanation video , because I am starting at a community college first , and a lot of others are going to universities and I got so confused with the associates and bachelors
I just recently got accepted to one of the programs I applied for, 1 of many. I am so happy!! I already have a bachelors degree so I don’t need another bachelors but it depends on which school I get into!
I'm confused, so both an associates and bachelors take 4 years to obtain? Because with the associates degree, there are prerequisites that take 2 years.
Is everything you do in a dental hygiene program for community college route included in 4 year university route? You don't have to enter a dental program after 4 year uni, right?
I looked up this video because I have a free ride to a two year degree, but there is a university that offers a three year degree for dental hygiene (Lewis university in illinois) and im trying to figure out if I want to take out loans to go there since its a bachelors? I'm so confused as of what to do.
I say three year degree for dental hygiene of that free rise can be applied there.. BUT I also do not know your plans or financial circumstances so do plenty of research and weigh your options.

There are no hygiene schools that are in the evening, most recommend you not to work because of class load.
So if I choose the bachelor route do I have to specifically get a bachelors degree in dental hygiene or can it be in anything?
Not necessarily

Higher degree = higher pay
Not necessarily for DH. In Minnesota, its the same pay.
