Vidya Harish Bhandary me personally born as a brahmin my take on eating or harming any life with emotions and sense of pain needs to be condemned not only beef ... majority of the people in kerala are brainwashed by the communist ideology and the influence of abrahamic religions which have always been a part of the past couple of generations... in fact people dont realise the importance of conserving our ancient heritage and culture when the abrahamic religions are seriously craving for supremacy over here ... its now a breeding ground for radical islamic groups , naxals , Christian conversion mafia, .. 70% of the hindus are rather communists or just dont care .. so when it comes to beef .. you need to understand that sanatan dharma aint a religion, the ideologies change when your going place to place .. for example in most part of india non veg prasad is like a taboo .. but in certain parts of india non veg prasad is celebrated.. so in a similar way eating beef for certain type of people is taboo .. that might not acceptable or applicable to other civilisations which are related to yours .. so dont confuse sanatan sanskriti to something like a religion which has one rule , one law, .. its more of a civilisation of diverse faiths and ideologies, ..we were seekers than believers, we never identified ourselves as a religion , so seeking of certain civilisation wont be similar to the other .. our culture is very complex ..so dont view it as something fixed or to be followed .. it was always about seeking

Socio-centric rules can be changed according to time. But, deity centric rules should not be changed if you want to retain the identity of the deity. Unlike other religions, the deity in each temple has a unique identity and follow definte rules. It is the same case with Sabarimala.
We Indians pride ourselves in what we call “ Unity in diversity”. But when it comes to Hindu traditions, especially temples and festivals, we want to destroy that diversity and follow the single entity ideas of semitic religions.

You are right. We are slowly becoming a monolith society while claiming to be "champions of diversity and plurality". This is the irony. We are not looking at what is good in the west and adopting it, but instead we are digesting everything that is wrong there.
The Indian elites who have been educated to think through the prism of the coloniser are the ones who give themselves favourable tags like "liberal, progressive, modern etc" while in truth their views are rigid, iconoclastic and averse to open dialogue. They want to sit in their bubble labelling anyone they disagree with because that makes them feel intellectually superior (while ironically these are the same people who speak about equality, justice and egalitarianism).
Their words are loaded with conceit and hatred towards all those who think differently to them. In their mind anything ancient is by default regressive and anything modern is always progressive. How they draw these conclusions without studying the nuances of the past is baffling. In our ancient tradition we had a culture of open-honest debates between any two different ideologues (such as the debate between Shankara and Madanamishra and moderated by a fair person) - today that tradition is dead and forgotten, and our self-appointed intellectuals live in echo chambers patting each other and cancelling out anyone who doesn't agree with their ideological bent. It is sad to see this ancient civilisation crumble under the hands of our own people despite the invaders having left our lands.

Islaam and Christianity are not Semitic religions. None of the Abrāhamic Faiths
      eligions are Semitic whatsoever.
Semitic religions {way before Judaism sprung‒up} used to be polytheistic. Mesopotamian\Sumerian religion and all that. Akkadians. Babylon. Amorite. Chaldeans. Kassite Babylonia. Etc· etc· etc·.
Mandaeism is an example of a monotheistic religion which is non-Abraahamic and also *absolutely* non--Semitic.
Even the Abraahamic religion named Baháʼí Faith is indeed monotheistic *as well as* Abrāhamic *but it is not* a Semitic religion by any stretch of imagination.
Let me do a recap∙. Mandaeism is an example of a religion which is certainly monotheistic but it is *not* within Abrāhamicism. Baháʼí Faith is an example of a religion which is *_both_* monotheistic as well as Abraahamic. Neither of these two are Semitic religions by any stretch of imagination.

So gurukul pratha really important today, and gurukul even started provide teaching like convent school today of other subjects like science, math, history & literature,so support GURUKUL and make it PRATHA or CULTURE for home which should be like passing from one genration to other generation, that atleast till class 5 child should get taught in gurukul, and that's how we will get our interest back in hinduism....

@@abhasrivastava5954 See this nation has been the land of seekers. If I need something which everyone in my town uses, I can easily go and get that.If it is something which no one uses or wants, then I have to enquire, search and take a lot of efforts, time and money to get it. Such things are not home delivered. In a pseudo secular country the governments are not interested in imparting such knowledge through school curriculum because they are afraid of their vote banks.Unless there is demand, there cannot be supply. It is a pity that the numbers of seekers dwindled and therefore that of the teachers of true knowledge. In today's world only thing that is taught is, how to make money and not how to live However, there are a number of such institutions who are imparting the valuable knowledge through this parampara and are doing a good job if it silently and unnoticed. As you said money is not the criteria here but students and seekers are very less.So when teachers cannot survive they look for other professions.Bhagvat Gita and Yoga is compulsory in many European countries. But we don't dare to deviate from the western oriented education because we are interested in only wealth making. As the value education is successfully blocked from school curriculum since it is unsecular, people and ministers amass wealth for 10 generations and we vote for them year after year and election after election. I have heard that many politicians loot the country and fill up Swiss banks and die without even passing on the PW to the kin with the result our money is enjoyed by Swiss people.Probably we believe in "loka samastha sukino bavanthu" at least in this aspect.

So I think atleast till class 5 hindu should send there child to gurukul and make it as a pratha which should be passed from one genration to learn VEDA & GEETA to other to fight against evil, even Lord RAM & KRISHNA had to learn VEDA to fight against evil.. so gurukul pratha is needed right now...

This guy is absolutely right! I am all for gender equality - no woman should be biased against. However, many people who fight cases like these have no knowledge of the history - for them it is ALWAYS right to oppose things that may look like gender bias - in the case of Sabarimalaa without even considering that a similar "inequality" exists if you consider the Attukal temple festival where men are not allowed. They believe that they are "fighters for women's freedom" and everyone else is biased. The problem is that they have a very narrow outlook. Their main focus is on themselves - consciously or unconsciously - indirectly they want to glorify their own image as that of a person who fights for equality. It's sad that they don't realize they don't even know the meaning of bias.

    Hard words but true..
There are worst form of discriminations or dogmas in other religions or cultures but still they survive without being discussed because they are united.
In our case we are divided and are unaware of logics behind our various cultural practices, and i feel like division and ignorance has gone so deep in our blood that even after horrifying episodes of history, we are not ready to learn and are still busy in finding reasons to get divided.
We ourselves are responsible for the conversions as well. When somebody is hindu, but so called low caste, he is not allowed to enter home, he is untouchable. But sadly when the same person gets converted to some other religion, then we accept them and say every religion is equal. Hindu muslim sikh isayi bhai bhai...
So learn to accept your culture. You may adopt western culture and call you western but west won't treat you equal to themselves. So dont let yourself get trapped in identity crisis.

Dear Mr Sai Deepak, I have few questions regarding your explanation about the tradition you are talking about.
    1. Are you talking about the tradition which came in to practice after 1902, when the current telugu thanthri family was made responsible to conduct pooja in sabarimala by the Thiruvangoor samasthana Kings.. ? Or Were you talking about the tradition followed before 1902 when the sambarimala temple was actually belonged to the Araya community of the hills..?
    2. If you were talking about tradition , then tradition should be some thing practiced for years not some thing came in to practice by force in between.
    3. You seems to be talking about the tradition brought in by the telugu thanthri who have literally snatched away temple from araya community people and chased the araya people away from the hills for their own benefit. You are talking about the stories being spreaded by the tanthri clan to the mass.
    4. I kindly request you to dig out the traditions followed before 1902, not after that. If you are a real believer in tradition. I believe you wont do that, because you are comfortable in believing in the existing concocted stories.
    5. For your kind information, it is not the thanthri's who are poojaris of sabarimala but it was karimala arayan was the first poojari and followed by three more araya poosari's and then followed by the thanthris.
Please kindly talk about replacing the thanthri's with the Araya community poosari's which was the actual tradition. You can find in the records in the trivandrum secretariat. If you are so consumed by the tradition, then you must be talking about the actual tradition which existed for thousands of year, not some thing which came in to picture after 1902.

Ashok Ravichandran For you kind Information, even the Aryan Community and Tribal people say let the Tradition continue, no need to change it.....You tie up two issues to make your argument stronger##But it's a stupid baseless arguments.....Before 1902 the Tradition was not there.....Wat proof you have to say...
Did your grandfather tell this Jumla stories.....Don't argue with Half Baked knowledge....

@@akshaymurthy1143 Dear Mr Sai Deepak, Thanks for taking your time to respond to my posting. First thing I noticed is that you have agitated in answering my question using filthy language like stupid and dragging my grandpa inside this. (I thought you are a intellectual and public figure). My question was from 1.the discussion which held in a TV channel where a representative from the Araya community himself was saying it. 2. The chief minister (Mr Pinarayi Vijayan, who is not my grandpa) himself was saying that the telugu thanthris were inducted as poojaris of sabarimala only in 1902 by thiruvangur samasthanam king.
If the Araya people say so ( to continue to the tradition) , fine. I got nothing to do with this issue. I am not against any tradition, let it be muslim or hindu etc etc....a tradtion is a tradition. If people are happy then let it be....

They believe that atleast some superiority should remain for uppercastes even though their structure has been destroyed. They will never talk the truth that dispels their agenda. They will say that oh look how emotional are liberals in every conversation to undermine the truth.

I have also a question, some suedo seculars say that you talk about triple talak but not about sabrimal temple issue . Yes.
We talk about triple talak and sabrimala both but they dont want to understand the difference between these two
Triple talak is a curse for Muslim women it is a social evil in Muslim society and create inequality but sabrimala is about a religious practice / a tradition which doesn't harm any women and not misogynist there is many temples in India where men not allowed too..

The irony is that the women who campaign for access to Sabarimala dont even go to temples. Its not misogyny its just tradition and for good practical reasons too. Back in the days the whole place was a forest with tigers and wild elephants and dacoits and it was not safe for women not just in terms of being easy prey for animals but also from the dacoits. My mum says those women who want to visit the temple in breach of the tradition should do so at the risk of facing the dietys wrath. I completely agree...if it is a matter of faith then let them in and let them face the consequences of their actions. After all your faith in the dietys power and your devotion to the diety is what makes you want to visit the temple and by the same token your faith in the tradition and belief surrounding the diety should also make you want to stay away if that is what tradition dictates.

The women who are really religious and who respect the culture don't even think about going. The only women who want to go are radical brainwashed feminists who don't even care about the temple or the deity. They just want to challenge our cultural hierarchy. They want to destroy age old traditions. It's sad and pathetic.
