Made me think of Desiderata, remember, "Listen to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story." Some of the smartest and happiest people I've known are just as dumb as a post like this one.
Some of the dumbest people i knew in school did really well for themselves. Way better than i did and i thought i was smart. Turns out i was dumb, but im learning.
I always look at it as common sense smart or Booksmart. Two completely different things I had a work with Lotta engineers in a coal mine. Booksmart. Lol.
Devolve....I used to work on Wall Street and Park Ave...As I climbed that ladder as a smart IT guy, I encountered incresingly evil people. Threw it all away...I live well..my needs are met from effort. I like the Weird Al/Devo song/video: "Dare to Be Stupid." Give it a watch...
Been tryin' to teach my Nephew how to be covert Dumb ... but he's too intelligent to understand the HUGE advantage. Sad, sad world when smart people don't grasp something.

Why do people think just cause someone accepted Jesus and what he did for us. And their saved makes them perfect and unable to sin. Believers in christ still sin, just cause someone is saved don't make them perfect. We still sin!!! But, our sins are forgiven, past, present and future sins are forgivin. Jesus dont even recognize our sins cause its under the blood shed. Jesus says we can not lose our salvation. I don't understand when people freak out if we slip up. 😏
It`s not that smart people think they`re smart. In fact dumb people often think they`re smart, because they don`t know how dumb they are. Problem is smart people talk themselves out of things while dumb people don`t know any better! Perseverance is just working hard & not giving up, but working smart matters even more, because what if you were pushing hard, but in the wrong direction?
massive disagree. if a plan and perseverence was all it took id be successful at everything. so i guess that makes me dumber than dumb? if you're dumb your plan is probably dumb too, which makes it not much of a plan at all. perseverence Ive got in spades too, but still a loser. I'm pretty sure its the money more than anything, if it's any of those things at all.
