I am with “Lucy with the football.” Constantly lets me down, uncaring, mean...YET I love her lol. She’s a great muse. Great stringer-a-longer. And obviously, when she’s good, she’s very good. Clearly, or why would I like her. Very easy on the eyes, too. Great at things, very creative. Very athletic. A true poet. She is also one of the very few that can keep me in check. I respect that. I wish she was more of a friend and helper. I try to be for her. I am sure I often miss that mark, too. I’m certainly no angel. I vow to quit her every other week but then there we are on the phone, saying we love each other, making plans for the next day (that never come to fruition, due to her bailing). I’m too old to be this hurt. I agree with what your saying but it is true...the best way to get over another love interest is find interest in ANOTHER.
