Wow@ Excellent catching all the trains, especially four adorable white-tailed deer in Fort Madison, Iowa, two meteors in La Plata, Missouri, a Sperry truck, and so much more, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and happy Valentine's Day.
Cool caboose in Revy, loved the meteors and the deer--I don't know what that critter was that scared them, but it looked as if it meant business! The Altoona footage was gorgeous, and it was nice to see the new Rhode Island cam in action (at least it's new to me). The sun on the rails in Arvada made them look like molten copper, and the ending was another beauty (Burlington is great anytime). Bravi! 🌹
You know that a VR Grab Bag is going to be great when the opening scene shows a locomotive move featuring Norfolk Southern, Ferromex, BNSF, and a vintage Santa Fe locomotive! And I didn’t see any Darwin Candidates this time (unless I missed something)!
@@michaellastname4922 Thank You, it is quite expensive using top grade (Axis) cameras and looking for the best internet providers plus a staff. Memberships & donations are our bread and butter.
Nice lash ups at Horseshoe Curve and HU distributed power, scenic in the snow, CN GEs, Sperry Rail truck in Roanoke, whitetail deer 🦌, nice reflection shot in Burlington!🛤🚂
Some good catches, thanks VRF. Particularly the Manifest at Kearney with 'Yreka Western' amongst all the others. Also, PRLX 8908 ST70AH - which I checked-out. I thought she looked very nice in that Blue livery.

I've caught up and as always it's great fun and great! Those deer were a bit Darwinish though, weren't they? Running across the tracks and was that a fox chasing them? Seemed to be more Amtrak trains than usual; no bad thing I liked the two at Galesburg (I think) and the Amtrak chasing a freight! All good and the Curve 10 shot was something else and liked the ending Liked it all as always! 👍👍👍👍

Hey VR. Point of grammar: if there are more than one meteor, then you just add an S. If you do a 'S, that is a possessive. Did that meteor own something?
@11:50 NS3987 (formerly Central Maine and Quebec) looks so bad with that slapped on blue paint. Show a little taste NS, at least try and colour (Canadian spelling) match the blues.
Thanks to all the camera wipers out there. You're like signal maintainers: if you're on top of the job, nobody knows you exist. We appreciate you!
Yes indeed--seems as if the only time they get noticed is when the lens is not clean. Thank you guys!
Nice to see Davisville making an appearance on the Grab Bag.

Are you sure those are meteorites and not SpaceX? LOL. I know that you couldn’t see them from there.
I always thought MuGu was like ShooGoo but fer cows...goes to show ya. Thanks VRF for the great entertainment!
The big ten sunlight reflections were awesome!
Enjoy seeing both the trains and life & nature happening around the trains.
Always enjoy the trains, but to get a great video of a C-130. That was extra special. Always enjoy the wild animals too‼️
Wow love the old blue and yellow Santa Fe in the first train with all the BNSF and the yard pusher and the deers great video
I love watching these grab bags daily. They never disappoint

Kudos to whoever had the idea to use closing songs to these videos.👍
Another great video from VRF !
Happy Valentine's Day VR❤🚂❤
Love that blue and yellow Santa Fe unit with the silver trucks. One of my favorite paint schemes of all time.

Thanks!
Thank You very much! Look for you name somewhere in the next Grab Bag!

The Seaboard passenger car is Robert Rileys, president of Rock Island Rail.
I wondered who he was--thank you!
Another grab bag ALREADY?! haven't got time now; it's about 21.30 GMT (UK); try and catch up tomorrow. David 😊

18:48 Well, would ya look at them young hoodlums, running amok after midnight - and right in front of a police officer, too!
Enjoy CZ 5 & 6 in Galesburg & Burlington
You know darn good & well those four thugs were out tagging when the cops showed up.....
Was the deer being followed by a coyote? always love seeing fallen flags. great work.
Does anyone know where those 5 FEC units are going
Down to Mexico City.
Hi erywon 🤙😎
I saw the LTEX switcher come out of Conway today behind two UP units. Any idea where it's headed?

Anyone know what came up after the deer?
I would like to know that also!
Bobcat? About the right size. Not much of a tail.
I thought it was a coyote.
Moderator and chat thought it was a coyote.
I don't think it was a coyote because it didn't have a tail, and it was not long enough in the body to be a cougar...bobcat?

1:58???Is that a Red ALCO in Waupaca Wi????? In feb.2024?????
How unusual. The LTEX SW1500 has one Type A truck (cab end) and one Type B truck (leading).
At 19:00, local PD was an eye-witness to trespassers...why no pursuit and subsequent citation of egregious perpetrators?!
Egregious seems a little harsh. They were just out for a frolic.😊
