I had one in green. They REALLY need to integrate a money clip. Would make for an EXCELLENT wallet replacement.

Great idea, you could also try a silicone band to use to hold cards & cash
I figure the more cards you add, the more rigid it gets. Less likely to break in a back pocket. I don't know how they could add a clip without the clip breaking, though.
@Felix Immler I just sent Victorinox my idea of adding a money clip to the Swiss Card line, and maybe making a "Ridge Wallet" - type product, with the Swiss Card making up the one side, and perhaps a modular, selectable tool to make up the other side (box wrenchs cut out of metal, thin USB backup battery, 3-5mm thick storage compartment for USB cables or coins, ect.) It could replace thick, bulky wallets, while carrying tools and credit cards, all in one pocket. 👍 Wish me luck!

I obtained one of these when my dad was cleaning his office. It's attached to the back of my phone case along with some other cards and it's amazing! Wallet, phone, and multitool all in one item.
I've been carrying the swisscard lite for years (in my wallet), every since I received it as a gift from my wife. I like it because it allows me to carry my Alox Victorinox knives, without feeling like I'm missing out on the tweezers, which I use all the time.

I carry one like this and have for about the last 6mos i think. Used on eBay. I agree it fits in a wallet well. I bout for the straight edge ruler and pen , and I agree that black ink would be better.
I sort of regret not getting the model with a magnifying glass and may pick one up and give this one to my daughter.
Ya I forget I have it till I need it, and them it's ready to go.

I actually carry my Leatherman Micra in my wallet. Just like you suggested, it’s a very nice personal care multitool. The steel construction gives it a nice solid feel, like you’d expect from a quality tool. But the added weight makes it carry better in a wallet than on a keychain, at least in my experience (I prefer a flashlight and chapstick holder on my keys).
That flathead driver on the file was a lafesaving device for me !
I have the Onyx one, it completely replaced my Compact.
Although I also prefer the bigger scissors.

The nail file is designed as a flat phillips 2 screwdriver.
I was looking for a no knife victorinox carry. I am thinking of buying a swisscard or two, and just 3d printing my own layout.
After having some fun doing some rough clothing repair with paracord innards and a sewing needle that fits into the pin slot on my swisschamp, i feel like there is a lot of room for a swisscard that is specifically geared towards clothing repair. Say have at least two different slots for different size sewing needles. Replace the space where the file is with storage for thread, and replace the toothpick with a needle threader

I gave one to my wife because I thought she would find it useful. She didn’t understand. It is still a handy little tool.
Maybe the Nailcare version would be more to her liking.
What happens when you run out of ink? Or on the other version with the flashlight. How can you change the battery??
The pen, the toothpick and the tweezers are sold separately as spare parts. You can get them from any Victorinox dealer. The battery is a standard CR1025 Lithium 1.55V and can be replaced easily.

this is one of the things that TSA often robbed me of LOL
For me it was the Squirt ES4 and the Micra.

TX Tool Crib that Es4 is gonna hurt more & more over the years as the price increases after it was discontinued... painful!
my dad gave this to me like 7 years ago... i love it, but it's sad that it cannot pass the security check in subway or high speed train stations because of the knife, and i cannot carry it daily :(

Yoooooo, the length of that blade. What on earth does an inch and 7/16ths mean? What a weird measurement. Just use metrics. I might not be able to accurately measure something using just my hands, but at least proportions are easier to imagine in my head when they can be easily divided.
Well, 7/16ths is 7 divided by 16, 7 parts of 16, .4375 inches, just under 1/2”, 9/16” less than an inch, or 11.1125mm. Helpful?
@@txtoolcrib I still don't like inches but thank you for taking the time to explain to me how to proportion the length of this blade in my head. I can now see that it is one unit and a little under a half a unit long. Though as a rookie mathematician, I still much prefer the simplicity and usefulness of the metric system, of which can measure smaller measurements without the use of fractions.

It's a nice tool, but it will break apart after a few years if your wallet has any flex to it. The plastic just isn't very strong.

Broke two swisscards in my wallet, the first was a gift to me and did last around a year, the second one lasted around two years. Pretty damn usefull and very dezent EDC just too bad its not really a lasting product you can throw in your wallet and forgett about it till you need it.
