The only one that I don't really use is the Tool Lite II. I carry the Survival II in my wallet, the Victorinox in a small pocket in my purse and the Signal Fire in my altoids survival kit. Recently I went on an 8 night backpacking trip, and I carried the Survival II in my pocket the whole time. Even after I got totally drenched by rain, the flashlight is still working! Another multi-tool to look at is the Leatherman Squirt. I have a video on it too. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I was thinking the same but fabricating a 'hook' out of a paperclip, inserting the hook & pulling back the retainer clip to bend it down to cinch down the smaller knife.
@sxwishman The TSA website states that knives are prohibited as carry-on except for plastic or round bladed butter knives. Scissors are allowed as long as the blades are shorter than four inches. I recommend you check with the airline before travelling, and if in doubt, take it in your checked in luggage instead.
Very nice, I've been debating all of these recently. Looking for an alternative to carry my fullsize multi tool around all the time especially in the summer.
Victorinox Card must've gotten much better over the years, as I bought 1 probably 30+ yrs ago & the thing just started falling apart on me. The knife broke, scissors were worthless, etc...which surprised me, as Victorinox is an A-1 company. I'm considering that Tool Logic with the serrated blade, as I have a Spyderco Sharpmaker with diamond sharpening rods & I could get a wicked sharp edge on that baby. They're handy in a pinch, but I still like carrying a Cold Steel Hold Out III serrated. I liked your vid & gave it a thumbs-up!!
Did they discontinue the tool lite 2? I want the plainedge version but I can't find it anywhere. And why all the hate for this video? It's a perfectly decent video
Just as a feedback: would have liked if you spent less time talking about where you got them from, and more time talking about the products themselves. I know you have a review for each of them, but i would have liked this video to summarize them very quickly. From this video, I cant tell what the signal fire is for. Overall, they seem nice products. I wish the survival 2 came with the tool lite 2 knife. And i agree, i think victorinox should make a survival kit. They would probably do a much better job. Nice work, and keep it up!
I have the squirt. I want a altoids kit myself. I need to create a survival bag or bail out bag for the trunk of my car as well. A real serious one I can survive off of not an emergency one. Yea I have a large collection of flashlights including Surefires and such so I'm not too worried about the flashlight version. I like the firestarter and compass version because I don't carry those on me daily.
i like the tool logic's knife bettor because it's one solid piece.other than that i'd take the victorinox card.i also like the semi transparency of the victorinox product.
Interesting video. Saludos from Buenos Aires. Too bad the import restrictions here mean most of this stuff is unavailable. You have no IDEA how much I miss things like Amazon and Trader Joe's. And IKEA.
The victorinox card looks like a gentleman's card, something to carry with you every day and it should have a toothpick. In survival cards i don't see a need for a toothpick
Did anyone else notice the little hole on the Tool Logic Tool Lite II between the LED and knife? Is that to stick the micro screwdriver into to get more torque? That seems terribly unwieldy. o.o
I find out about a lot of things through other people's channels too. Thanks, I'm in London Ontario! Whereabouts are you? Wilderness nearby where you live?
I've never heard of or seen the Tool Logic cards...I love the knives in them. Plus I can relate to living in Canada. I've been limited in the brands and types of knives and tools I've gotten because of where I live...oh well, small price to pay to live here. Thanks for the upload!
I first heard of them through Peak Survival's channel. Then I found it on Amazon and Think Geek, which is where I ordered them from. I find I've been somewhat limited but then I usually find things online and have them shipped. It would be nice to be able to handle a product before purchasing it, but like you said, it's a small price to pay to live here. Btw, love your name :-) Where in Canada are you?
I love Altoids tins! Actually, I'm a little obsessed! Lol! I've started a b.o.b. for myself and another for my boyfriend. Still not satisfied with them yet, so I'm saying started but not completed! I haven't found many good button compasses, so I tend to not rely on them. But... different opinions, which I guess is why Tool Logic makes both models :-)
Yes, first time I seen Altoids used as a survival tin was from Culterylover's channel when he made one a few years ago. Yea I'm not 100% sure what I want for a B.O.B. yet I'm trying to get ideas from RUclips see what others are doing to get some ideas. You honestly never know whats going to happen, you can be driving and get stuck somewhere and all the roads are closed. My mother was stuck on the highway for 12 hours once because of a tractor trailer accident. You need supplies with you.
Woman´s brains sometimes just does´t work right...She know She needs this, but had to buy 3 of them to figure it out why....Now in video, She got some idea of it, but the whole concept of comparing the TOOLS is still not figured out....I am sure She will get the picture soon or a later, it usually takes year or two for to understand what She is doing...
that bottom left tool logic is trash. i have used it maybe 20x and the metal that holds the knife in just broke right off. now the knife rattles in my wallet. looking for a different wallet tool.
Ammo man - Oh! Yeah. I don't think so. I think you should learn how to read. And that shows ur reading sense, that how u judge on spellings.. If some spellings are missing or miss typed, it doesn't makes a lot of difference.. Dont make vids like this. If u just want to blah-blah. Nobody have time for your shit.. People want hear just main points.. I said in a casual way.. But you took it on heart...
I'm looking at Victorinox and it strikes me as a multi-tool that my Mom would've happily carried and actually used. It should be called the Victorinox Mom Card.
сколько же пустого трёпа. это, разговоры "не о чём", а не сравнение мультитулов. где, скажите на милость, хотя бы резка бумаги, представленными ножами? минуснул.
you woory about shipping and handling costs......stop buying 3 of the same items.that wouls be a good place to start cost cutting.god, you waste tons of cash.
The quickest way to sharpen scissors, is to take a piece of 600 grit sandpaper, and cut it to ribbons. Your scissors will be razor sharp.
Thanks

😁
Just came across this vid! This is quality! I wish you'd keep going and keep posting! :P Really cool gadgets and input and feedback
use the hook on the back of the knife and pull the spring down a little and it will lock in the other knife
I was thinking the same but fabricating a 'hook' out of a paperclip, inserting the hook & pulling back the retainer clip to bend it down to cinch down the smaller knife.

I miss in this comparison the _Gerber_ card too.
I don't think this will be better tan others, but I like the point that will make fire.
Good review, I am in Canada too and feel your pain in regards to shipping stuff from the US. It's worse now that the dollar is down.
Very nice, I've been debating all of these recently. Looking for an alternative to carry my fullsize multi tool around all the time especially in the summer.
I have the swiss card I love it,I don't even notice it's there, until I need it which is often
Idk if I can buy these anymore, I seen a Swiss eagle brand now.

How’s your new card doing you?
Did they discontinue the tool lite 2? I want the plainedge version but I can't find it anywhere. And why all the hate for this video? It's a perfectly decent video
is this is legal to carry on the airport?

The flint on my tool logic fell out after a few days and got lost...
I agree! That's why I carry both of them with me at all times. I like them both!

You can maybe bend a paperclip to a hook and pull de little metal piece down so it will hold the non surrated knive
Your missing a different victronox one
Can't you make a hook out of thin metal and bend the spring to fit the other blade?
You sould also do a review of the gerber. Bear grylls survival card and ir will be owesome to see a comparason with all of the cards
i like the tool logic's knife bettor because it's one solid piece.other than that i'd take the victorinox card.i also like the semi transparency of the victorinox product.

can you bring these inside a hand carry bag on a plane?
The victorinox card looks like a gentleman's card, something to carry with you every day and it should have a toothpick. In survival cards i don't see a need for a toothpick
Love the video. Thanks
I was waiting for a comparison, not her feelings about each time she bought each one.
Did anyone else notice the little hole on the Tool Logic Tool Lite II between the LED and knife? Is that to stick the micro screwdriver into to get more torque? That seems terribly unwieldy. o.o
Well, there's quite a bit of information here to help you with that decision :)
I find out about a lot of things through other people's channels too. Thanks, I'm in London Ontario! Whereabouts are you? Wilderness nearby where you live?
Thank you
Great vid. Nice to hear your thoughts!

I skipped a lot but it didn't look like you even took all the tools out.
I thought this was quite informative. Some of you guys are a bunch of haters.
I'm in Toronto! Have to drive to get to wilderness :(
Too much talk and not enough show!

I'm looking at Victorinox and it strikes me as a multi-tool that my Mom would've happily carried and actually used.
It should be called the Victorinox Mom Card.
