The club has degraded over time. 7 managers 7 years since robbo. It can't be these managers faults everytime, the common denominator is pete winkleman. He's promised the championship since 2016 where he never invested in the squad. Relegated twice in that period but never once ended up in the championship. Time for a change!!!
First of all no one is disagreeing with Pete Winklemans commitment and dedication to the football club and what hes just said about some managers working out better at other clubs has alot of truth in it. However there's not enough first team investment its as simple as that and i do think its time for him to move on. Because alot of the reasons why those managers have done better at other clubs is because they have had more money to spend and I think when dons where in the championship Pete should have invested or cashed in and sold up when the club was at a peak to attract investors or investment
What you should have done, was to have given Liam Manning the Tools to work with last season, instead of doing things on the cheap, make sure you back mike in the January transfer window, because he's going to need it!!!
As an mk dons supporter for many years, the one thing we need changing is our chairmen as pete winkleman can't afford decent players anymore and we need to find a decent name to buy the club to get us more good players to get up the league and stop being a yo yo club
Whichever players Mike decides to keep, I'd trust him. In the season before we won the national north, if you'd polled most Gateshead fans, Macauley Langstaff would have been on the list to get rid of, he went onto be top scorer a year later and record breaker at Notts County. He and watson are superb at making players better
