You can just see the love n trust they have for each other ! She’s such a wonderful old lady n an amazing kind soul, even the silverback n the way he comes over n gently nudges them aside! You just don’t see that anywhere in the world especially with a silverback n a human in an enclosure with his troop n I mean NOWHERE , not even in zoos where some of the keepers have been with them since they were born !!! Speaks volumes for what the Aspinalls do for them with their foundation !

Your grandfather would be so proud of you. I remember him talking your father in with the gorillas when he was a baby. Also remember a lot of keepers who went in with the big cats and wolves as well. Love both parks as well
Freya , Nothing worse than seeing a wild beautiful creature have that sparkle die in their eyes !! Being in captivity killing their spirit as well as my own . You guys do it right ! There’s exceptions I know , Keep up the great work Freya ! I miss those days in nature I have in the Sierra Nevadas with the indigenous wildlife there and having a connection not known by many . Kevin .
