True.That.is one of the top.song I ever heard on Door Darshan. But they have to retelecast such songs for new generation to understand power of our great music which is based in melody raga and pure aesthetics and divinity.
Undoubtedly Yesudas is a blessed musician. He was born with music! However l fear if he makes it a point to continue to fathom the depth of this divine class of music. He appears to be content with what the Almighty has conferred on him. I mean his contribution to the Karnatic version is not quite worthy of any remark. I mean that he could occupy the throne of classical music as its emperor if he were adamant. It is Chempai Swami who discovered and presented him before the music lovers. His voice is sweet and hence envious indeed. May God give him health and a long life !!
@@mvsnampoothiri1331 he is special for me his voice shakes me like nobody else. I am from UP but for me he is the ultimate master of melody.He might have learnt music from some gurus but the gurus must be thinking eternally fortunate that their pupil can take melody to unparalleled height.
I yearn sometimes, why he has not sung many more songs in hindi, yet I make myself content to realize that his one song has that much 'extra thing' which is missing in 1000 son gs of others.
In his eyes I see god secretly smiling and saying...."Your choice is absolutely right.....Dasettan's voice embodies my presence".
He has got amazing capability to mould in to that person for which he is singing.....Eg...Songs of swami vivekanand movie...he has totally saintly voice....Many more..similar examples are there.
I don't understand south indian languages but no problem, I can absorb the mellifluous nectar from his south Indian songs and that way relish my ears and soul.
He is a treasure.
Yesudas says.... "even thinking he doesn't know where it comes from " he is a great believer of a great power control behind us for everyone and everything....if someone describes him in word "" .would say ".he is a property of all human kind"
