'Gori thera' became a Filmfare award winning song. I have a collection of your Hindi songs, each one of them is different than the other. My disappointment is that you didn't get an award for the song starting with 'Teri Tasweer ko' in film Sawan Ko Aane Do'. Dasetta how you left Kashmiri and Assamese? Another important aspect which I liked too much is your approach towards the carnatic music.I have a few collections of your carnatic concerts too, which are entirely different. You have given due respect to the clarity of words in the carnatic music also, which is amazing. As regards South Indian film songs, it would be better to say nothing, because Dasettan is simply incomparable! I have only one wish that Dasettan should get the highest civilian award ie. Bharat Retna. From our side you have already got it, now it is the turn of the government to bestow it upon you. Long live Dasettan.
Dhasatta, I think thadarinna is not consciously done as you say. In my considered opinion raga is elaborated in akara. The syllables Tha, dha, ri and na automatically fall in their places according to the vocalists vaakku shuddham and result of his long years of practice.
