Kya vision tha Amitabh Sir ka. Unhone pehle hi prediction kardi thi k jbtk Janta educate nh hogi tbtk achi filmein nh banegi. Aur aaj wohi horaha h. Content is king today. Yeh vision bas ek legend hi kar sakta hai aur koi nahi.
These kind of peoples are appearing once in millions of years. He is outstanding. Lots of respect from an Afghan in London.
His interviews have always been a pleasure to hear. But more importantly, the interviewers too were a class apart unlike today. They too knew the art of interviewing.
The humbleness and sincerity he had when he was a megastar ,is the cause that he is still getting work and a lot of love and respect from people. I have never seen him showing arrogance on his success.
Words fail to express this legend… brain and charisma is rare combination. Jo kah rahe hain aaj bhi wahi hai ❤

This interview shows how India has changed in its use of language as well. People understood Urdu a lot more back then. Beherhaal...it is lovely to hear Amitabh ji talk. Kudos to the interviewer as well, such good questions asked in a straight forward way. Good to hear them both have a conversation.

That was the beauty of television in those days.
An exemplary human being, a fighter to the core, Amitabh ji is an icon for ever. Many may not know that in the late 90s he was in so much financial difficulties that his bungalow 'Prateeksha' was almost in the auction block. From there, at an age of 57 yrs, when most of us consider retirement, he began his fight back and in the last 23 yrs has regained all his wealth and more. And this was only possible due to his work ethics, something which the present generation should learn from.
This man completes my visuals and my audible senses. Some of his contemporaries and even the newer generations lacks just about EVERYTHING compared to him (if I even dare to differentiate, lol). THE ONE AND ONLY. Literally, my 3rd time watching this gem video. Thank you PRASAR BHARATI ARCHIVES

Sorry to differ you. The very same thought is expressed by none other than Shree Amitabh Bachchan ji about Shree Dilip Kumar ji and Amitabh ji is absolutely right in saying it.
Amitabh is shown shooting for 'Satte Pe Satta' and 'Bemisaal' in Kashmir. Both of them released in 1982. It seems that this interview, which is by Shrinagar Television, was taken in 1981 in Kashmir. 'Laawaris' also was shot extensively in Kashmir, but that released in '81 itself.
Amitabh comes across as very intelligent, humble and knowledgeable person. He exhibits his in-depth knowledge of cinema as medium. It is a sheer joy to watch Amitabh Bachchan. He has not changed with time, and remains an actor par excellence and a gem of a person. Wish him the best on his 77th birthday, that just went by.

i think its 1979 he was congratulating for the success of muqaddar ka sikander which celebrated golden jubilee around the time he celebrated his birthday which is in oct and in those days movies used to be made for atleast 2 to 3 years, satte pe satta was also launched in 78 or 79

No one can reach this level, a great manly voice, height , education, intellectual, and always calculated. Very humble . What a legend👍

Amitabhji got name and fame because of his roles in the movies which are very closely relates with an ordinary man, ordinary man's aspirations, his dreams were fulfilled by the characters played by Amitji. At the age of Eighty also he is the same Amitabh
