Yelawolf, I'm a 54 yr retired vocalist. Loved Eminem's early music, but had little interest in rap in general. I had some terrible years and gave up music all together. I didnt sing, I didn't listen to music, nothing. I relate too empathcly (did I just make that word up?) to it. LOL! I have come back to music again, and you are the first artist I came across that raps. Your song "You and Me" stole my heart. I decided to dive into the art of rap and am blown away by the complexity and artistry of this genre. I had no idea how truly amazing, brilliant and dynamic true rap really is. I'm learning more and more everyday. I don't think I would ever try rapping myself, but I would love to write it someday. I guess really all I'm trying to say, is that you are the one who inspired my desire to explore it and I have fallen head over heals. I was classically trained, but I have a passion for rock and pop. I think my heart is forever in love with the most intricately artistic genre I have heard. THANK YOU

The melody and chord progression of this song matches almost side by side with a lot of newer country music. I listen to a wide variety and vibe to all of in one form of another because I've lived it or just love the art, from Waylon to Hank and HankJR ( F... Willie and the real know what's up) to ZRo and DJ Skrew all the way back over to some Neon moon And Cheryl Crow, to Bone Thugs, to Britney, And Backstreet Boys,, around to confederate railroad and beyond and far! There's music that people hear and it hits every soul different depending on circumstances, trials and tribulations man. No hate, just stating the real things! People hear different, and character speaks volumes. I hope you're listening to music that only encourages and allows you to feel positively, even if the next person thinks differently! Never bash on what someone else vibes too just because you don't see or feel what you want out or what another finds solace in. Just listen to what your soul feels no need to comment on things you find uninteresting ❤✌🏼if songs or artists enrage you, then probably not the best things to click on their songs to comment rudely to a person who never said a word on any specific song, stated the artist who I'm sure has more fans than single people who hate them who probably can't come up and is mad at everybody else, I'm sure he cares less. I care less if anyone reads my comment. I am just stating got much time you took to say one snide comment on a person who says they've been through some things and this music helped them. You don't know what songs helped this person through, nor do you know what they've been through. I don't either, but i know enough in this life to stfu and when to speak!
