- Years of planning, months of fine-tuning, weeks of trying and a lifetime in the making. Envisioning & landing a World First MTB trick is not an easy process to say the least. No stranger to the latter, @MattJones rolled up his sleeves, gave his all & managed to sign under a couple of never-before-seen MTB Originals for the history books. Matt being Matt, merely landing the tricks wasn't going to cut it for him - he wanted to connect them into something bigger - an all killer, no filler riding edit that speaks for itself. Well done Matt, mission accomplished!

@@janessel139 Yeah it's 2, The running gainer and the hitching post flip to front flip. He was going to do the 720 nohander to barspin but benched it.

Matt is being very outspoken about his struggles to the point of self deprecation, but he's still a legend for basically inventing 3 mountain bike tricks now.
@Joey Datto no 720 no hander to bar spin, which is why I said 3. Otherwise if he'd done it he'd have 4 world firsts to his name.

The wall slide wasn't part of the 3 he wanted to do that was just something extra.
Ya, the wall thing was only something cool for the edit. He says that on the red bull episodes. He did 2 World firsts, which is still an incredible achievement, especially with how competitive the mountain biking community is at the moment.
@@reuben911 he did a 720 no hander back in competition, then these 2 new tricks in the edit.
A year of work for a 2 minute edit with 3 new tricks.
That's insane dedication.

It`s unbelivable whats possible on a bike. My favorite and hardest Jump of the whole track is the log jump where he has made an back and an frontflip. Insane riding skills and a nice video.

After watching all of the behind the scenes, both here and on Matt’s channel, a massive shout out needs to go to everyone that was involved this project. What is basically a year long quest took a massive amount of support from a lot of people to make it happen. There’s no question Matt’s the star of the show, and rightly so, yet none of this would’ve been possible without the whole crew being there. So in case no ones said it yet. Thank you, for making this happen! Also, that drone shot through the truck, epic piloting right there!

Epic edit, it’s cool how u guys did the behind the scenes video series first because when u get to see the finished edit after watching the behind the scenes u appreciate it SOOOO much more. I could be wrong but maybe you should change the thumbnail because I saw this video on my Subscriptions page and just thought it was another one of the behind-the-scenes videos which I had already watched on Red Bull TV so didn’t click on it. Maybe you should change the thumbnail to something that looks completely different from the thumbnails of the behind the scenes series and maybe have the words on the thumbnail saying: final edit or something so people don't get confused like I did so u can get more views. But I may be completely wrong 😉😁
