That noise was purely due to my speed and dynamism mate 😉 definitely a fun race, but it’s still only the rookie / starter pack grids getting the good grid sizes. Means it’s quite a broad level of abilities. Not that I am grumbling about P20 to P6 without needing to make an overtake! But it would have been nice to get stuck in with more battles, like the one on the last lap.
Wow! Nice race! Even with the "greed" mistake, that was quite the showing! I'm not familiar with RaceRoom or F4, but I'm guessing those cars don't have traction control. Looks like that was catching a LOT of drivers out.
Exactly right. No TC, and once they start to go, there’s not much you can do to stop it! Actually quite a challenging car for a rookies series… very slippery indeed!

I really like the F4s on R3E. I have found out how to be a little bit faster with just a slight upshift strategy change. I have found that the acceleration at higher speeds or maybe through all the gears is slightly better if you shift just after the last red led on the wheel lights up. It works especially well in the last 2-3 gears. 5th to 6th shift is best around 208-212kph in fixed setup. Definitely try that, dont run it up to the limiter as much. It might be subtle, but it is a gain, IMO
Haha yeah exactly the same as me, I’m still living off the premium pack I bought years ago! A few new tracks and cars launched since then, but I still own a huge chunk of the content.
I love RaceRoom, just wish it had more going on in the ranked lobbies, always loved the WTCC/TCR lobbies but lucky to get a grid with more than 7 cars on it
Yeah this is the only reason I don’t race it more often. At the times I’m online, it’s usually only the rookie / starter pack grids that have double-figure entries. I think there are sometimes more options at peak time in the evenings, but that’s not often a good time for me.
@@chrisrogerssimracing yeah my times are usually 10pm onwards, might get to sneak a couple races in on my days off if adulting doesn’t take up all of my days. I hope the new studio can bring people back as it has great content that doesn’t get sunset *cough* iracing *cough* 😉
Yeah that’s the big shame. It’s only really the rookie / starter servers that are well populated - particularly at the times I’m online to race. But it is very easy just to hop into and race, which is a big plus.

@@chrisrogerssimracing i was in this race. saw it at the last minute so i did not have time to qualify. thought what the hell. but sadly it was a train wreck for me. not used to the F4 so was all over the place and got damaged. but im better now, so im ready next time :D was behind you for a short while at turn 1-6 after that it was down hill :(

Ur better off doing raceroom and reactor 2 no subs just buy content it's a pity ams2 has not got a proper race server it's a fantastic sim.
Easiest sim of them all to simply hop in and enjoy a race. Which is perfect for me!
