Besides the glasses what else can be done for relief of light sensitivity with migraine ………. Cause I have those glasses but don’t do much since near vision is blurred recently along with light sensitivity with cluster headache migraines . It all started after ssri and benzodiazepines. I was fine before these meds. I wonder if this will go away naturally with time ????

Hi Isabel, It would really depend on the cause of the light sensitivity. Have you been tested for a vestibular disorder? Email us at info@vestibular.org and we can get you a referral to a healthcare provider and other resources.

I'm looking for some advice for my son? He's seen 2 vestibular specialists, diagnosed with vestibular migraine and they prescribe medication and physio therapy but nothing is working so far. He became unwell summer 2019.
He cannot look at his phone, his laptop, the TV.
He cannot read, write or draw.
He is unable to listen to anything like the radio or audio books.
His brain cannot cope with even thinking some days.
He has what he describes as a foggy brain.
    Suffers extreme fatigue.
He is on a very strict diet which excludes caffeine, dairy, msg, chocolate, citrus.
He had an eye test and is wearing glasses now. I've bought him special light sensitive glasses to watch TV but they don't work for him.
His MRI scan in January was clear.
    We need help?

My light sensitivity started late in my twenties and now I feel incapacitated. I have rye spasms. It makes work and driving so hard. I'm unable to build relationships. I just want to be alone in the dark. Can I buy this from any eyewear store,?can they added to my prescription lenses? I have astigmatism. I live in Austin. Also I'm really considering contacts because of the stress that eyeglasses already cause my face and eyes. Are this available in contacts already? Thanks a lot!!

Hi, Great questions that you are asking! Please be aware that not all light sensitivity glasses are equal in sensitivity. The glasses from Axon Optics are supported by research to block the wavelengths of light that cause photophobia. Yes, they do make prescription lenses and contacts.
