What I don't like is tag teams in the match, cuz you KNOW they're not gonna split them up to push one as a singles competitor. And we had EIGHT tag teams in, with the only one having potential for betrayal being RKBro. Take one or 2 of those teams out and call people up.

    hit the nail on the head, it was short sighted booking. They had an easy story with Lesnar going after Roman due to the attack by Reigns and Heymans betrayal. So they could of used the rumble to push someone towards Lashley. They've put all their eggs in the Roman v Lesnar match which we all knew was going to happen.

    • @sotakoira1390
      @sotakoira1390 2 года назад +35

      "Sir, what are we going to do with Lashley in Mania now?" "With who, oh that dude. I don't care, put him up against Goldberg or something, nobody really cares" ...and the reason people don't care is because WWE doesn't care. Have, let's say Riddle or Omos or whoever unexpected guy win the rumble and push them into new heights and tell them that they now have a chance to elevate themselves. Even if the guy is not over enough, just have a heel injure them and take their place in mania, but they'd still have that rumble win backing up future push. Don't give all your glory to the same old people who don't gain anything with it and will just have a very mid feud that nobody really invests in.

    I got to go to this for my very first live show, and I loved it! But as a viewer at home, I can see why you'd be disappointed. The crowd LOVED the roman/seth fight until the ending and we bood hard lmao. The back of the Wrestlemania sign caught on fire during Becky's match and they had to bring it down, which really distracted the crowd/blocked some views. They had to keep the cameras off of that side almost the whole match and try not to show any angle with the sign in it. Guessing no spots allowed there either, I felt bad for them because they looked like they were pouring a lot into it. They lowered it, put it back up, and it caught fire again at the very end of the Rumble when Brock won/while he was pointing to it lmao.
    Seth came down right by my aisle for his entrance, and I was pretty close by which made it pretty insane.
    Lot of people got good pops, I think the crowd was pretty tired when Randy came out because I was expecting a bigger pop for him since he's from St. Louis but he was one of the last entrants so everyone was exhausted by then lol. Brock got some pretty big pops. Ivory was pretty hilarious.

They are in a stalling pattern despite multiple great storylines they can play out. I mean, what was wrong with Baszler, Belair or even Charlotte winning the rumble. On the mens side, McIntyre vs RKBro, or leave Happy Corbin and Moss. I’d even take Seth Rollins at the 30 spot facing Owens for the shot at it. But no, we got Brock Lesnar. I thought it was an okay rumble. By the time I turned off my tv I looked back at the last few hours and determined I had fun.
    I didn’t hate the Roman/Seth finish, but I agree it suffers from WWE’s bad habit of booking too many DQs. In a vacuum I thought this one was a viable finish considering their history and the build. Roman was blinded with rage and caught some heel heat while Seth can still claim Roman has never beaten him in the big time match. If there was ever a time for WWE to do a time limit draw, this was it. Alas, that’s not their cup of tea.
    The rumbles themselves were okay. Very predictable but part of that is on me for reading the potential spoilers on Ronda thus ruining the surprise. I convinced myself Bayley and Paige would return and so when neither did it felt like a letdown, but that’s on me for having unrealistic expectations.
    As far as Ronda and Brock winning, I don’t mind either. I understand why fans don’t think these two “part timers” should get the spotlight, but that’s like being disappointed that your cat isn’t a dog. This is just what WWE has become. At least now there’s a thriving alternative to WWE’s brand of sports entertainment.

    Seth Rollins entrance was the best part of the Rumble! That was the opening segment! And then it went all down hill from there! No one wants Roman vs. Brock AGAIN!!!

    In a world where WWE doesn't have multiple DQ finishes per show, I think the end of Rollins/Reigns works. Sadly, we do not live in that world.

    Being there in person was absolutely insane. While the pay per view itself was kind of a disappointment, it was just fun being there. I wanted to see Liv/Bianca/Rhea, but Ronda’s pop was amazing.

    The ending to the men's royal rumble was a real head scratcher but I enjoyed the rest of the matches regardless of the ups and downs. Now I guess I'll have to wait and see how things go heading into Wrestle mania.

    The fact that full time stars like Bianca and Rhea keep getting wasted is criminal. Rousey doesn't even care and she said so herself in the interview afterwards.
