Nickelodeon groomed Jamie Lynn Spears, and cancelled her show because she ended up getting pregnant. I was a kid myself that was around the same age as most of the cast members on the show back then. I wasn’t sexually active at that time, so it blew my mind to hear that an actress around my age and on one of my favorite tv shows was not only sexually active, but also expecting a child. The media shunned her as well, and made it seem like she was a misfit. That shit is crazy as fuck. Already knowing about her family, I’m sure they took a considerable about of money to stay quiet.

This strikes a weird chord to me as I happened to have grown up in Los Angeles close to Burbank and Glendale and I would pass the Nickelodeon studio quite often with my family and I remember my sisters and I telling our parents we wanna be in Nickelodeon never having the thought that heinous acts were being committed to children around the same age as us. It’s not really fair to judge properly regarding the costars. I would argue that except for few kind souls like Mr Rodgers, anyone involved in live action children's entertainment is there because 1) they couldn't get a better job, or 2) they're a child abuser. The topics in this video go back to the founding of Nickelodeon and "You Can't Do That on Television". I read a book on it a few years ago (titled something like 'Nickelodeon - behind the slime') which was basically all cast interviews. The two that stuck out at me were 1) parents were not allowed on the set during filming (parents now have mandatory access by law), and 2) a story about a boy being told to undress down to his underwear (on camera, as part of a skit) under threat of losing his role. I honestly don't think we should have child actors. Childhood is for developing into a healthy adult, not working a job. We don't have child accountants. The abuse is just a side effect of children being inexperienced at life.

There has been some at Nick but very rare and if they ended up becoming big then it would probably be a child actor who was of supporting cast instead of the star of the show which is statistically true. We live in a dark world where people like this roam the planet and law enforcement and the justice system don’t care about these kinds of problems and release them knowing they are going to do this again which don’t do anything about it. The only way to catch these people is if we bring back capital punishment to erase these evil poisonous people rotting our society.

Brian Peck eas mentioned before on a lot of videos covering Dan and we knee about the drama surrounding Drake but there's just something that sends a chill putting everything together and knowing now that Brian's victim was Drake all along, after years of it being unknown to those here doing videos on it.

This strikes a weird chord to me as I happened to have grown up in Los Angeles close to Burbank and Glendale and I would pass the Nickelodeon studio quite often with my family and I remember my sisters and I telling our parents we wanna be in Nickelodeon never having the thought that heinous acts were being committed to children around the same age as us. I would occasionally see child stars in passing but never talked to them cause they’re celebrities, but little did anyone know they were under someone’s thumb the whole time. It’s not really fair to judge properly regarding the costars. I would argue that except for few kind souls like Mr Rodgers, anyone involved in live action children's entertainment is there because 1) they couldn't get a better job, or 2) they're a child abuser.
The topics in this video go back to the founding of Nickelodeon and "You Can't Do That on Television". I read a book on it a few years ago (titled something like 'Nickelodeon - behind the slime') which was basically all cast interviews. The two that stuck out at me were 1) parents were not allowed on the set during filming (parents now have mandatory access by law), and 2) a story about a boy being told to undress down to his underwear (on camera, as part of a skit) under threat of losing his role.
I honestly don't think we should have child actors. Childhood is for developing into a healthy adult, not working a job. We don't have child accountants. The abuse is just a side effect of children being inexperienced at life.
