Funnily enough, the ending of henry danger occurred well after dan left the network, most of the second half of it is actually pretty entertaining. Running gags, good action, not too cringey meta humor, and yea the 4 part finale was a pretty decent watch. As soon as dan left it really shifted in quality which i find hysterical how obvious the change is
One of the most interesting things I remember from Jenette McCurdy's book is how she mentioned since after everything came out they didn't want Dan Schneider on the set with actual children so he sat in a room way off set and gave notes from there. Apparently, it also made the cast's work days way longer. So I could definitely see why the quality of these shows was often worse than the others. (But I actually did quite enjoy Henry Danger haha)
Are people that brain dead to not care what he did and still worry about the quality of the shows that criminal was making. Absolute monsters all of you hope demons lay eggs in your chest and brains in the afterlife so you beasts better enjoy all that money and things you got
Interesting how Nick knew about the allegations to a point where they had Dan 'Get in the Van' be far away from the children on set But yet they still didn't do anything else or even talk about it besides letting him go in 2018-2019
So they felt the need to physically keep the director of a show away from its actors, but still kept said director employed? It’s like something you’d see in a dystopia story
@@T_Teobokki they didn’t lose their childhood, stop being so melodramatic. You sound just like those conservative Christian’s that nearly destroyed the television industry
I will say that Henry Danger is far from being forgotten. Just a few days before this video came out, TeenNick aired the show for an entire week, with no breaks.
What always got me about Game Shakers was the fact the girls looked like tiny 40 year olds. It was uncanny like they dressed them to be older than what they are.
@@smooth_4306 honestly she does, considering the type of clothes ud see in popular stores at the time thats how a lot of tween girls dressed. everyone else does look like 35 tho lmao
The weirdest thing about henry danger and game shakers is that they actually are connected to the ICarly/Victorious universe, where elements and characters from those shows appear, but at the same time, those shows exist as actual shows, too. It implies a strange world where, for example, Nathan Cress exists as an actor who portrayed Freddie in the sitcom iCarly, but the events of iCarly and the characters also exist. Quinton Reviews is doing a massive series on those shows that goes into far more depth.
It's interesting that, despite being connected, Henry Danger leaned more into being in the same universe as iCarly and Victorious, and Game Shakers leaned more into iCarly and Victorious being shows.
@@boxpin8967 But because Henry Danger and Game Shakers crossed over with each other, that means that iCarly is both in universe and a show in universe.
The fact that the Henry danger animated show legitimately looks more appealing than those lame adult cartoons is probably the saddest thing I’ve ever witnessed
i literally love henry danger so much it’s one of my fav shows and it’s so good and it’s amazing i love the characters and character development the acting gets better and it ALWAYS makes me laugh plus the actors are hot ngl anyway i love henry danger sm thank you
I remeber that Game Shakers was so confusing to me even as a kid. They have only 1 person in the entire group coding and making the assets of the games from scratch in a less than ideal work environment while the rest of the crew just goofs around and burns all their budget and savings of the company on stupid and unnecesary shit and sometimes even sabotaging or interrupting the only individual that is doing all the work. I know it's supposed to not be realistic at all, but that was something that always baffled me when I was younger. It's just a show that doesn't work at all.
@@anotherbrickinthewall7802 Any kid that dicked around with Flash, which was easy to get in the mid to late 2000's, knows how hard it was to make ANYTHING half decent. So seeing one person in a sitcom make a "top 10 game" all by themselves in a matter of days was ... bullshit.
@@anotherbrickinthewall7802 It was more of the dynamic of the group that baffled me as kid, rather than all the technical stuff lol. You have 1 person doing all the hard work, 1 person pretending that is doing something while taking all the credit, 2 people doing absolutely nothing, and 1 man-child that probably uses the company as a tax shelter, all while having 0 chemistry and conection with each other. Compared for example with iCarly, where not only the main group has a more believable and dynamic friendship, but all of them had a clear part in the making of the show and they had a conection with it, so the success of the show feels more rewarding. You don't feel like the Game Shakers earned their ridiculous success.
I feel like the biggest problem with channels like Nickelodeon is that they don't get why people watch TV. People don't watch TV for internet culture, they go to the internet for that.
Not to mention the fact that they can’t take criticism by making their evil characters that are supposed to be the good guys not make an effort in taking constructive criticism (looking at you, Carly Shay & Sam Puckett in the episode where you two young women were dealing with what your show would consider “mean comments” even though criticism is perfectly valid in Nickelodeon shows)
Ah yes Dan…already read Jeanette’s book. It was a page Turner for sure. Finished it in a day with how captivating her writing style was. The Creator is a creep, and just to make note for those who haven’t read it yet, “The Creator” is someone mentioned in the book, never addressed them by their name but we all know who she’s referring to. The creator of this book Jeanette McCurdy is absolutely amazing as a writer. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I’m not one to read something in one sitting but it was THAT good of a read.
@@ddjsoyenby I'm just thankful she's at least doing better now. And I'm happy she and other people are exposing him and the industry for being creeps and abusers.
I finished it in 13 hours the day it came in the mail. I don’t even like reading and always have trouble focusing. I haven’t finished a book since I was 11. But her book was captivating
Dan Schneider and Butch Hartman have always been kindred spirits to me. Decent kids' shows that got popular based on randomness and luck, a career that rapidly declined after a few big hits, rampant 2000s nostalgia for their classic shows, falling from grace in the public eye...
I would say that Dan's saving grace is that he made more shows that people look fondly at, and he would end them after a few years. By comparison, Butch only created two good shows, one of which got canceled, and the other got beaten to death.
@@alexismiller288 You're wrong on that one! He flirted with Tara Strong in an interview LOL but he didn't do near the creepy stuff that Dan did. At least Tara was an adult at the time, and played it off very cool.
@@rich355 None of his shows were good in my opinion. There were no good female role models. I mean, if you grew up on those shows you don't see it as much, but I compare Fairy Odd Parents to shows like Peep and the big wide world and there's a big difference in gender roles in the shows. I'm serious! They did all the female characters so dirty in Fairly odd parents! Try comparing their personalities to girl characters in other cartoons! (You don't realize how awful fairy odd parents's character development was until you think about it) At least he wasn't a Dan Snyder tho... nothing can be worse than what Dan did
Their shows were crap XD It's amazing how much I notice in those shows that say a lot of things about the creators, and no one realizes until someone on the show comes out and speaks up. As a kid, I even noticed what was wrong with some of their shows, by both creators, but I didn't think much of it until I was older. My mom and grandma the same way, noticed a little bit of stuff wrong with them, but never thought much of it. We see it now and it all makes sense...
I remember the whole "Game Shakers games actually on the app store" thing became a problem because most of the games in the show were just ripoffs of other games (mostly made by the Crossy Road devs).
It actually is. Despite the ratings, It lasted long, has more episodes produced than any other Dan Schneider created show. It’s a whole franchise. 2 spin-offs and a theatrical film coming soon.
@@doubleznixz it only lasted so long cuz nick was milking tf outta Dan's work in the 2010s until his departure. There is a bit of cult following but the popularity hasn't come close to the heights of Drake and Josh iCarly or even Victorious
@@entertainer_ev2747As in popularity, it was popular for mid-2010’s Nick as ratings have dropped for the network so you can’t compare that but besides that everything Dan had his hands on at Nickelodeon was milked out. Dan’s shows were always successful and well promoted. Other shows like True Jackson, How to Rock and other popular Nick shows didn’t get the Dan treatment and only a few outside of the cartoons got similar treatment such as Big Time Rush but it still wasn’t the full Dan treatment.
@@entertainer_ev2747 nope the commentator is right. Nickelodeon basically made all of their money off of the Henry Danger franchise and Jace Norman. Just because you didn’t grow up with it doesn’t mean you didn’t see the affect it had on the public
I think an issue with Henry Danger is that they didn't cover the superhero content enough and did not feel like superheroes. It felt more like a buddy show where they just happened to be heroes. The show goes on so long that the characters seem so relaxed about the superhero stuff. It's normal to them.
I mean that’s kinda how it would be like in real life, it says he got the job at 13 and he ends the show being around 17-18, so if he was doing sidekick work for that long and some of them being the same villain I’m sure he would’ve got used to it especially CptMan who’s in his 30s
@@adammiranda9891 That's a good point but it never feels serious. They had a cool villain in the former student but he gets beat only because Henry got a power.
Honestly I think that's what works about it, they aren't really comic book heroes that have grand adventures and climactic battles with powerful villains for the most part, they're just regular people with actual problem, and their jobs just happen to consist of stopping criminals while wearing a colorful costume. I think that gives the show some charm. And in the later seasons they aren't afraid to bring some real tension when it's needed.
When I think of Dan Schneider, I always remember that good old "Schneider's Bakery" logo at the end of Drake and Josh or iCarly. That _"Mmmmmmmmm!!!"_ sound just lived in my head rent free.
Always freaked me out for some reason, specially because I remember watching iCarly mostly at night and before or after this logo there was the classic Nickelodeon logo that had children laughing.
That child actress that you said that you hate is actually really good, she has recurring roles in episodes of The Haunting Hour which really let her stretch her acting wings, especially in Really You, the 2-part pilot episode. she plays bratty, but then by the latter parts of the story you end up just totally on her side as her actress nails the confusion and fear of losing her mother as her mother's sanity is slowly chipped away by an evil doll, and only her brother is willing to be on her side anymore. Also the Hannah Montana pilot had a neat take on the BFF finding out, as a bit of drama surfaces when backstage Lily slips and accidentally calls Miley Hannah while they are alone, unintentionally implying that now their friendship has been irreversibly tainted by the knowledge that she's famous.
As some who grew up on Henry Danger and Game Shakers, I remember enjoying them both as a kid, especially Game Shakers. And watching them now, both shows became better in quality when Dan left. It's astounding how much a show can improve once Mr. Creepy Man leaves it. In terms of the shows when Dan was still on them, some jokes land while others don't, Game Shakers having more jokes that don't land. In all, I feel like when it comes to debates about whether a kids show still holds up, there's no way to make an unbiased choice as we still have nostolgia for either the show be debated, the shows before it, or the shows of now/the future.
Because Dan's honestly not a good writer. He's a good COMEDY writer but the writing itself falls flat and usually throws sense out the window in favor of absurdity and OTT comedy.
Facts. I actually enjoyed Henry Danger for what it is. Well, I might need to re watch it to confirm that. I never actually finished the series, and hearing that it gets better is kind of appealing.
Honestly I barely noticed a difference except they got a bit picky with their characters and characteristics due to cancel culture, Most people say it was better after he left because of who he is but watching it air on tv and watching it on streaming, I still can't see the difference.
Oh my God i forgot about that, that was beautiful. Although the biggest wtf moment for me is big baby's reveal in the Henry danger thundermans crossover

Josh is Done is probably one of my favorite episodes of Drake and Josh. Ignoring the fact about what Drake was accused of following the show years later, he was on point with the acting especially in that scene. You could really feel the emotion from Drake's voice. 😭💙
Ned's Declassified was better hands down in my opinion. I liked the cartoony humor mixed with real life. Something about it drew me. You get invested in most of the characters and they are likable as well.
Ned’s was Nick’s version of Scrubs. And I agree that the cartoony humor worked well. Big Time Rush was basically the same show but with a completely different cast.
what you said about watching older kids is SO true i'm 18 and in college now and it's so weird watching a teen show and realizing that the characters are my age or younger
IKR and it's even crazier when the actors playing their teens look 21-25, some o them even look in their early 30s! At least I could kind of relate to Cat because she was shorter and more childish than everyone else, but she was kind of over steretyped at times.
I actually enjoyed Henry Danger after Dan stopped working on it. The early episodes are very different from what most people remember the show as. It became entertaining and while I was a little old for the show at that point I found some parts to be very funny. Game shakers on the other hand just felt like if iCarly was about video games, became confusing, and added the classic “stupid friend” character
also game shakers ending made no sense and was so rushed. Honestly the whole show felt like a fever dream but i must admit it it holds a special place in my heart
Can we actually talk about how cool of a concept for a show what Mark described the ending of Henry Danger as? It'd be genuinely quite cool to see a more serious tone show about a few vigilantes living in a more cyberpunk city in Korea or Japan, forced to live off the grid as ghosts, seeking their own form of justice that goes beyond the limits of the law; not staring the folks from Henry Danger or ran on any children's network obviously, as it'd likely get quite dark at times, bringing in questions of morality and what is going too far when in pursuit of justice. Just feel like it'd be a really cool show that if done properly, would really captivate audiences and could really hit hard with some folks
Tbh it is. Even though they don’t explore themes that dark. Henry danger has a lot of arcs focusing on how being a hero as a child, how working under his boss effects him, how hard it is to keep the secret up. There are points in time where he shows these emotions vividly.
I would genuinely love that idea because Henry keeps going back to Swellview to see Ray but we never really know why (actually I’m 80% sure that he’s the producer and that show is relying on his existence to get ratings) but also it would be very cool to see how the other characters have evolved
Dude Dan Schneider shows were my lifeblood as a kid, honestly. Despite everything, the shows will always be a part of my childhood of stupid jokes and dumb plots.
i literally love henry danger so much it’s one of my fav shows and it’s so good and it’s amazing i love the characters and character development the acting gets better and it ALWAYS makes me laugh plus the actors are hot ngl anyway i love henry danger sm thank you i hate danger force tho
@@NeroLeMorte does that mean anything? No, no it doesn’t, sometimes bad movies can make millions, Will they be forgotten, likely not Especially when they’re a part of a big franchise
I found out about the rumors of Schneider in the mid-2000's reading the IMDB message boards (remember those) of Drake and Josh and Zoey 101, so the fact all that stuff is finally becoming more known in the mainstream feels both good and surreal.
Well the joke of Henry Danger is that the crime within the town is Batman level crime, like they want to blow up building and inflict rare water with nanobots, but the hero is unable to die , so despite how bad he is he can not lose
honestly Henry Danger felt the most well put together out of the current batch of nickelodeon sitcoms and i think it’s actually a pretty good show. it reaches a peak and decline gradually which kinda shows how grounded it is and it’s humor and nonsense land the most compared to game shakers and even the thundermans
i also think that jasper, while being the dumb gibby clone, is the most unique of the dumb characters. he doesn’t say things completely out of left field and show an expression of some sort that’s supposed to say “go on, laugh at how stupid i am”. plus i think his character matured as the show went on, along with the rest of the characters
Henry danger is actually quite good in the second half because the actors started writing the show instead of the original writers. (The show kinda completely changed in the comedy department after the writers changed to the cast which ended up to be really good) But yeah danger force and the animated spin off are both bad. Oh and also the ending was really dumb
@@johnnymarrero8011 yes that’s true but that’s not a high bar. Most of the finale was good I’m just talking about the whole Charlotte and jasper and Henry in Japan or China or where ever they are, did Charlotte get powers? Is it just a digital implant? Then he had to have in every show of his, a "gibi character". The gibi that tried to go to webikon(however you write it) and had to deal with with "his grandfather who wanted a chicken soup and his little brother who yelled "happy birthday" and "French fries" " Will always be missed(and cat from victorius season 1)
@@ploopydiper I think OP is referring to the more serious, emotional bits of Dan's shows, not necessarily the lolrandom humor. Zoey 101 was the closest to a proper drama he made, if by virtue of no laugh track present. There were some dumb jokes here and there but on the whole, it was more teen drama than zitcom
Funny thing is that the one thing I was annoyed with about game shakers is how inaccurate their depiction of video game development was and how it was weird a game as boring as theirs would take the world by storm.
I didn’t think Henry danger was ever forgotten lol. Sometimes I would watch it if it was on tv and me and my family actually found it pretty funny most of the time. Yeah it did have its very cringy moments but I thought this was a good show. Obviously not as good as iCarly, Drake and Josh, Kenan and Kel, but it is better than the new garbage Nickelodeon is putting out.
I mean the kids growing up with Nick now will have fond memories I think Henry Danger was garbage but that's because I'm older and didn't grow up with it.
It just now occurred to me that Dana Olsen, Henry Danger’s Co-Creator, was also a writer for the George of The Jungle movie, which…actually kinda explains a lot of the “haha random XD” humor…
when you talked about the whole thing about people finding they are superheros or something plot. I thought about how good Lab Rats did that with Principal Perry and how how you've got to know her character for two seasons and how she kept being suspicious of them through out that time with how werid stuff kept happening with them around. it felt so satisfying when she finally found out after all that time and felt like a good ending to that arc of her character!!
Poor guy? Man literally creeped on children and put them in uncomfortable situations in his shows. Nothing poor about this man Edit:commentary above me edited his comment so my comment looks out of place
Actually, Mark, the key difference between Henry Danger and The Adventures of Kid Danger is that TAoKD is BATSHIT INSANE FOR NO REASON. The show literally has an episode where charlotte merges with an octopus for some reason and then by the end of the episode charlotte merges with a car and becomes an octopus car thing. I like to think they used the show as the dumping grounds for ideas that the writers thought were too hard to do in live action, but the problem is all those ideas happened to be shit.
The gag at 19:59 is funnier than almost anything else from the other shows in this video. One Drake and Josh clip entirely outshines the other entire series.
I think this is the closest Nickelodeon got to having their own Wizards of Waverly Place with the story arcs, more serious moments that no Nickelodeon sitcom had up to that point, and the drama of Henry keeping his superhero secret and one by one over the shows run find out about it. I gotta say from the guy with a foot fetish, and one of the story writers of the live action Inspector Gadget movie it could’ve been a lot worse.
I’m still annoyed Nickelodeon is still trying to continue Henry Danger, first the animated spinoff now the new live action one. THEY JUST CANT LET IT DIE!
At first I liked danger force but even since I turned 14 it just seem like a bunch of kids yelling (I hope game shakers don’t feel that way when I rewatch it and the earlier episodes of Henry danger is a bunch of screaming)
The second spinoff literally made a refrence to the dear sister skit from SNL, and of course, that one thing everyone finds suspicious, or as others say, "sus". It's trying that hard to be hip.
One thing that makes Kid Danger even more baffling to me is that they hired Powerhouse Animation to do it, the studio responsible for Castlevania, Seis Manos, and Blood of Zeus which are all beautifully animated and intricate shows. I guess Nick just didn’t want to put the money in for anything even close to that caliber though lol.
I mean I think I was born in the perfect time to watch Henry danger. Looking back on it now it gives me a sense of nostalgia. It felt like a babies first serialized story and I can respect that.
@@idkuhhhhhhhhh And why is that a bad thing? and at least Lab Rats was had mature moments here ands there and the writing was actually good in Henry Danger they never take anything seriously
I'm sorry I wish I create my Nickelodeon animated series called The Dulce Adventures of Mariala based on the Nickelodeon original movie Mariala. It's about a half human half witch teenage girl named Mariala Avalos who goes on cute but magical adventures with her best friends Carmelo Ramirez and Debbie Miller, the ghost of her maternal grand aunt Lucia Lopez and a cursed talking parrot named Joseph Vega in a coastal town of Dulce Hueso Harbor, Louisiana
I remember iCarly being a blur that is entirely incomprehensible. Seeing clips online give me dread because I remember not laughing as a kid. It’s as if I’m discovering hidden memories of not being amused.
I love Henry danger so much, rewatching rn- I surely didn't forget it. Season 1 is not the best- but I live for him. It's nostalgic and so silly. I want to be him.
I legit really enjoy the chemistry of Henry Danger but the issue is how often I need to clip the scene up to make it flow better but its still fun you can call it cringe all you want but those guys being so awkward with each other is got me chuckling after not watching it for over a year I also enjoyed quite a bit of Game Shakers too but I see the issue
I unironically love Henry Danger, maybe it’s just because I watched it with my sister and have good memories because of that, but it’s also pretty funny (especially after Dan left and they just did whatever they wanted with it)
I was kinda watching sitcoms by Nickelodeon in between the ICarly and Victorious rivalry and the Thundermans and Henry danger rivalry so I experienced both. Yes the latter two don’t come close to the first two in terms of quality and memorability, but they are still pretty decent, especially Henry Danger, the whole vibe of that show was honestly quite cool and it was filmed in a way that you could be like “damn I wish that were me”. Game Shakers is where imo it really went downhill, not a fun show with a meh concept and boring characters. Dan Schneider is a horrible person tho so whatever. I really enjoyed watching this video btw!
As a little kid, I always watched zoey 101 thinking “dang it would be so cool to be a grown up like the people in this show” now that I watch these clips I only see a bunch of babies. Logan looks 13
I absolutely loved Henry Danger and it still stands as one of my favorite Childhoodish shows. Me and my dad used to watch it together until late at night and he loved it as well. One year for Christmas me and my sister bought him a captain man blanket lol. I have alot of stories about his old obsession with the show but it brings back good memories. Im glad its on netflix now I sometimes rewatch some of my favorite episodes.
As someone who loved the earlier shows Henry danger held up very well in comparison, same fun energy and jokes with a completely fresh concept and likeable characters. Many of the people who don't like it just grew out of nickelodeon before it started airing, so they didn't get to experience it as a kid like they did with icarly or d&j.
"have a good day" "don't tell me what to do" I still use this joke in my personal life to this day, and I finally know where I got it from, my life is complete
The entire legacy of Game Shakers is just that it made me realize Kel Mitchell wasn't dead. And...Sigh. "Schneider's Bagelry". Dan was really in his career death throes lmao 24:57
If you want to see a better Kel Mitchell show from the same time period I recommend Disney's motorcity. He plays a guy named Dutch and the show is really good.

as a child i never associated any shows with "Dan Hold Her Tighter She's a Fighter Schnieder" yet i watched many of them. I always confused "Dan Junior High Insider Schnieder" with David Schwimmer somehow, who i thought was a fictional character in one of "Dan Hold Her Feet a Little Higher Schnieder's" television shows.
i absolutely loved game shakers and henry danger as a kid!!! i was getting into tech when gs started airing, went crazy for sky whale (the tie in game) and played it way more than i should've
I really don’t get the hate, everyone just analyzes the show to death while in all reality people don’t want to think that much during a show. They’re here for entertainment.
I'd never heard of Henry Danger so when you first mentioned it and showed a clip my thought was "I bet that was short lived" and then you cut to a clip of the main character who was now a foot taller and his voice dropped and I was so surprised
I believe it’s Literally the longest live action Nick sitcom lol. It’s actually really good (I’d argue it’s the 2nd best Schneider show after Drake and Josh)
And I should be allowed to hate all his shows without angry teenagers telling me that if I have nothing nice to say about their precious Nickelodeon, maybe I should keep my mouth shut (but I am a critical thinker with freedom of speech, so fuck that!)
Yea and honestly the only good thing about Game Shakers was just Kel Mitchell returning to Nick and portray as Double G in the series, the rest of the show had really bad episodes with overuse of laugh tracks and endings especially with Flavor City. That was just the worst and poor Kenzie did nothing wrong and just got bad luck
One of my worst memories in school was being in the equipment room and working out to these sitcoms because that’s what the teacher’s thought we’d prefer that over 80’s music 😔
I watched the shows with my older cousins, and we noticed how often feet "jokes" were shown, and just confused. We ignored them of course because we loved the shows. And I'll admit that I was OBSESSED with Sam and Cat.
I hated game shakers as a kid, but MAN this guy directed some great shows. I don't even mind Henry danger anymore, I didn't rlly like it as a kid but it was charming enough to keep me hooked back then.
you said and I quote: in reference to nick finally letting go of dan schneider "how it took for them to wait until 2018 to put their foot down is beyond me" ... carefully chosen words
As a current teen who wasn't old enough to watch the shows at release (e.g iCarly and Victorious) me and my little brother would watch reruns of it all the time for years. We loved watching iCarly, Henry Danger, Sam and Cat and the Thundermans. Henry Danger was a long time favourite for us until it ended, but the ending was very shaky but was still fun for us. So I definitely have different views as I'm on the younger side then those who grew up with Drake and Josh etc. I'm thankful for the shows I watched, even if the ratings are low for them. And similarly I don't watch TV much anymore I watch RUclips. I do miss those times with recording excessive amounts of all the shows and clogging up the planner with all the episodes. Good times
It’s wild to me that the new generation isn’t watching tv shows like they use to and RUclips has really killed of cartons I remember the good old days watch icarly victorious and big time rush as they aired live on tv the golden era they called it
I was 8 when kid danger was released. I remember watching these with my sister who was similar in age. I’m almost scared to look back and realize that this is who was responsible for a big part of my childhood. Shows like Kid Danger, The Thundermans, Game Shakers, and others were very very entertaining to me.
As someone who grew up with 2010’s Nick, Henry Danger & Game Shakers were the shit at school 😭. Ngl while these shows kinda suck, I def have more nostalgia for them then Dan’s older shows. You should do vid on the other sitcoms that aired around this time, like the Thundermens and Nicky Ricky Dicky & Dawn, they’re also pretty bad but theyd be pretty funny to review 😂
He needs to review their newest sitcoms like That Girl Lay - Lay, Young Dylan, and Side Hustle. Their cheesy but they still have some charm in them. Btw, the first two shows main characters are “famous“ internet child stars. Anyway I hope I gave you some entertainment ;)
Yeah, i was born around the era were icarly, drake and josh victorious and Sam cand cat were all the rave with older audiences but I never got to experience those things So i grew up with henry danger, game shakers and more "modern cartoon shows". So they hold a special place in my heart.

The weirdest thing about henry danger and game shakers is that they actually are connected to the ICarly/Victorious universe, where elements and characters from those shows appear, but at the same time, those shows exist as actual shows, too.

So seeing one person in a sitcom make a "top 10 game" all by themselves in a matter of days was ... bullshit.
@@anotherbrickinthewall7802 It was more of the dynamic of the group that baffled me as kid, rather than all the technical stuff lol. why is it so hard for networks to realize that we just want good content with no strings attached 💀

I would say that Dan's saving grace is that he made more shows that people look fondly at, and he would end them after a few years. By comparison, Butch only created two good shows, one of which got canceled, and the other got beaten to death.

what people don’t realize is that Henry Danger is Dan Schneider & Nickelodeon’s second most successful live action series after iCarly.

@@sirmel11 nah that’s facts, they’ve really only had like maybe 6-7 REAL fights/enemies and 99% of them being in the very last 2 seasons

I think that gives the show some charm. And in the later seasons they aren't afraid to bring some real tension when it's needed.

@@Brewart2012 Yeah I can see that but Thundermans was more comedic and rarely had any serious moments and when they did it was more humor than drama.
@@VidtopiaEntertainment Agreed, I still like the show though. Lab Rats is on Disney XD is a better version of Thundermans and also similar to Wizards
@@Brewart2012 Yeah I agree along with Mighty Med and the disastrous spinoff of both shows Lab Rats Elite Force.
I’m still annoyed Nickelodeon is still trying to continue Henry Danger, first the animated spinoff now the new live action one. THEY JUST CANT LET IT DIE!
ikr let henry danger die in piece
At first I liked danger force but even since I turned 14 it just seem like a bunch of kids yelling (I hope game shakers don’t feel that way when I rewatch it and the earlier episodes of Henry danger is a bunch of screaming)
The second spinoff literally made a refrence to the dear sister skit from SNL, and of course, that one thing everyone finds suspicious, or as others say, "sus". It's trying that hard to be hip.
Was it really that profitable?
i LOVE HENRY DANGER but i agree i definitely don’t like the animated show and hate danger force but i do love henry danger it’s so good
One thing that makes Kid Danger even more baffling to me is that they hired Powerhouse Animation to do it, the studio responsible for Castlevania, Seis Manos, and Blood of Zeus which are all beautifully animated and intricate shows. I guess Nick just didn’t want to put the money in for anything even close to that caliber though lol.
They also made the cutscenes in Sonic Origins, which look amazing.
They are the American equivalent of Flying Bark productions
I mean I think I was born in the perfect time to watch Henry danger. Looking back on it now it gives me a sense of nostalgia. It felt like a babies first serialized story and I can respect that.
MM and Labrats are better lol
@@Dave102693 no? I love it but henry danger is way better than lab rats. Also its disney there were no feet involved.
@@idkuhhhhhhhhh And why is that a bad thing? and at least Lab Rats was had mature moments here ands there and the writing was actually good in Henry Danger they never take anything seriously
@@m56214 when did i say it was a bad thing? I ment the oppisate
@@m56214 i feel like lab rats is less well written but yeah thinking about, its the better show
I rewatched Wizards recently and it held up better then any Disney Channel show I seen. I forgot why it was honestly my favorite growing up.
the best omg the whole cast is perfect
As a Christian, my mom and grandma weren't fond of me watching that Wizards show, but it was way better for me than iCarly or Drake & Josh.
@@jocelynecupcake I am sorry to hear that.
@@jocelynecupcake bruh
Season 4 and season 5 were the best
@@Missmagazinebura especially the musical episode
Henry danger can sometimes be a fever dream
But I love it
ngl i love season 1 & 2 bc of the nostalgia but overtime, the show actually became interesting, especially season 5
There could be an entire show based off this guy lol
@beyond your imagination LS Mark: The Series is finally here?
"Dan the Fat Foot Man."
Creepy Nickelodeon creators: the show.
I legit really enjoy the chemistry of Henry Danger
but the issue is how often I need to clip the scene up to make it flow better
but its still fun you can call it cringe all you want but those guys being so awkward with each other is got me chuckling after not watching it for over a year
I also enjoyed quite a bit of Game Shakers too but I see the issue
My friend's mom used to be obsessed with Henry Danger. Like obsessed. Every time I would go over to his house she would have it on. Scary stuff man.
Maybe she had a crush on Captain Man
My teaacher and his daughters really liked it. Glad they still had fun with it.
I knew a 60 year old that loved odd squad. I honestly can't blame her.
This hits different after Quiet On Set
I unironically love Henry Danger, maybe it’s just because I watched it with my sister and have good memories because of that, but it’s also pretty funny (especially after Dan left and they just did whatever they wanted with it)
even when i turned 18, the more i watched it, the more funny i realized it was
18:37 Look at the guy in the back! He knew something was up with Schneider!
I loved Henry Danger as a kid and grew up with it so personally I love it 😅
22:03 I actually had to do a double take on that diss track name, there's no way they didn't realize that holy shit
As a little kid, I always watched zoey 101 thinking “dang it would be so cool to be a grown up like the people in this show” now that I watch these clips I only see a bunch of babies. Logan looks 13
Dan "Show me those toes or else we'll be foes" Schneider.
Im sorry I couldnt resist.
Thank you it's good to see someone that enjoyed it like me☺️
As someone who loved the earlier shows Henry danger held up very well in comparison, same fun energy and jokes with a completely fresh concept and likeable characters. Many of the people who don't like it just grew out of nickelodeon before it started airing, so they didn't get to experience it as a kid like they did with icarly or d&j.
@@aendra6495 correct.
I didn’t think Henry Danger is forgotten, Danger Force on the other hand is the one that should be forgotten
Yeah, Henry Danger has been pretty popular for a modern Nickelodeon show.
iCarly should be BANNED and forgotten
Yes and Danger force is having a third season
Don’t hate the art, hate the artist.

And by the looks of that thumbnail he seems more than willing to, all I'll say... *MAKE LIKE SONIC AND RUN MARK-*
as a child i never associated any shows with "Dan Hold Her Tighter She's a Fighter Schnieder" yet i watched many of them. I always confused "Dan Junior High Insider Schnieder" with David Schwimmer somehow, who i thought was a fictional character in one of "Dan Hold Her Feet a Little Higher Schnieder's" television shows.
This is the comment I was looking for
i absolutely loved game shakers and henry danger as a kid!!! i was getting into tech when gs started airing, went crazy for sky whale (the tie in game) and played it way more than i should've
YESS FINALLY SOMEONE WHO LOVED GAME SHAKERS!!! Hudson and Double G made me laugh so hard they were so funny
I really don’t get the hate, everyone just analyzes the show to death while in all reality people don’t want to think that much during a show. They’re here for entertainment.
17:45 This kid is legit just beavis from beavis and butthead
Finally
Except younger, and less funny, and i know i’m late on making this joke but i don’t care
I'd never heard of Henry Danger so when you first mentioned it and showed a clip my thought was "I bet that was short lived" and then you cut to a clip of the main character who was now a foot taller and his voice dropped and I was so surprised
It lasted longer than iCarly
It went on for 5 seasons. It was the most popular Nickelodeon show post sam & cat
Trust me short lived is a big lie. This show has an almost 10 year span in the dangerverse
I believe it’s Literally the longest live action Nick sitcom lol. It’s actually really good (I’d argue it’s the 2nd best Schneider show after Drake and Josh)
i watch reruns with my brother all the time it’s kinda funny tbh😭
I'm not embarrassed to say
I love everyone of these shows
And you shouldn't be. It's a subjective thing, everyone should like what they like. Have a good Day Sir.
And I should be allowed to hate all his shows without angry teenagers telling me that if I have nothing nice to say about their precious Nickelodeon, maybe I should keep my mouth shut (but I am a critical thinker with freedom of speech, so fuck that!)
And that's ok
and there’s nothing wrong with that. if that’s what makes you happy
The only thing about this that bothers me is the "everyone" and not "every one"
props to disney for deadass just getting youtubers to play games and calling it a show
Its not even them having ytubers play games, its them taking clips from older videos and tossing them on the show
Nickelodeon just loves Jace Norman, the guy who plays Henry. Also, Game Shakers, had just a lot of painful screaming. A LOT!
Poor Kenzie
One of my worst memories in school was being in the equipment room and working out to these sitcoms because that’s what the teacher’s thought we’d prefer that over 80’s music 😔
Yeah! Get those feet nice and sweaty, danarousal is working
Big oof
Good times
What you just typed is exactly how I experienced it. Ahhh good times
It’s wild to me that the new generation isn’t watching tv shows like they use to and RUclips has really killed of cartons I remember the good old days watch icarly victorious and big time rush as they aired live on tv the golden era they called it
16:07 As a huge Tekken fan, I salute you for using the Chicago, U.S.A. music from Tekken 1.
I was 8 when kid danger was released. I remember watching these with my sister who was similar in age. I’m almost scared to look back and realize that this is who was responsible for a big part of my childhood. Shows like Kid Danger, The Thundermans, Game Shakers, and others were very very entertaining to me.
Can't wait for Quinton to make a 3 hour long video on each of these.
He's already said that Sam & Cat is the furthest he's going to go. He hasn't ruled out doing extensive reviews for Zoey 101 and Drake & Josh though.
@@Sugarman96 yeah he said if he gets to 1 million subscribers by the end of this year he’ll do a drake and josh review
