- This is the Special that Rocko • Pet Toucan was on and animal planet as a result came into contact with me to do a special because of Rockos unique situation emeraldforestbirds.com/TT13.htm Rocko came into my life when I was diagnosed with cancer and courtesy of generous doners to the Make-A-Wish Foundations dreams like mine in a time of need become a reality, and Animal Planet found out about this story and felt it should be shared

According to more recent studies the large beak's main purpose is actually letting off body heat, like an elephant's ears.
What a rollercoaster. Up, down, up... Start with the enticingly cheerful title, hit you with the tear-jerker, then wash the tears away at the end. I'm dizzy now.

Toucans are beautiful birds. I love that they are a jungle bird, and their colorful beaks are cool.

I wish toucans were legal in California. They're the only bird I know that doesn't give you allergies.

Look up emerald forest bird gardens they are a facility that could proably help and tell u if they are legal

I did, it was something I had dreamed of having, and from what my doctor told me because of the low dander it produced it was safe for me to have one after my treatment

i think you should make a video about the diet of a toucan. theres next to none i have found, i have been for a while now highly debated on getting an iguana or a toucan. but i cant seem to find any videos about the diet of a toucan. i do however quite enjoy the videos you have of Rocko thus far, very gorgeous bird!

People should realize most of the time these animals are taken right out of the wild. So just be careful where you're actually getting parrots from.
***** Actually, no. Importation of wild birds is considered poaching and is illegal. Please do research before commenting. Although it used to be like that, not anymore.(Birds now come from breeders.)
