You have a really cool farm. You forgot to talk about your bees, I started watching when you were incubating Bamboo when he was just an egg. I love how affectionate the emus are. Cool to see that with a large bird. You should consider some ice skates with that pond. Stay safe!
@@whitehouseonthehill HI guys....get yourself some Cochin chickens. Not the bantams just regular cochins. They will sit on and hatch anything you want hatched on your homestead. They are GREAT sitters and mothers. Even the roosters are known to sit on the chicks. They are BEAUTIFUL feather on the legs birds. Second to largest. Turkeys are known to squish their babies. Not on purpose of course.
Miniature pigs are miniature in comparison to the larger meat breeds! It is common for the breed you have to weigh between 100-200lbs. Versus 800+ in some of the meat breeds. 😊
Exactly, it's a common misconception that "mini pigs" stay tiny. In reality I would not expect a healthy adult miniature pig to weigh any less than 40-50lbs, and depending on the exact breed most will grow much larger than that. Basically, any adult pig under 300lbs can be considered "miniature." In comparison, most of the breeds more commonly raised for meat will weigh anywhere from 400-1,000lbs when full grown.
I’m pretty grateful I get to go on your bird journey with you from my home on my iPad on RUclips. Like so many others, I was mesmerized by Bamboo’s emergence from that glorious egg. Good luck always. ❤️
HI FOLKS, My name's Ron. I wrote to you, when you first started your channel. I AM a retired zoo keeper. In the Adirondack mountains of upstate N.Y..... cold cold here now also. I'm 72, and trying to keep all my critters safe , warm , and happy. I have owned or worked with most of the animals , birds that you have. Really like your videos. Thank you,..... All the best.....!
I remember when you first hatched Bamboo. It doesn't seem like it's been three years already. Beautiful farm, beautiful family. Good luck with all your projects for 2022.
I can’t wait to see the aviary built and can’t wait to see what kinda of plants you plant in it , I think u should plant an apple tree in there cause it won’t get tall and will look pretty and give the birds snacks to eat
That's a great idea besides the fact the apple seeds aren't very good for birds, the safe fruit seeds and pits are grape, citrus fruits, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, melons, mango, pomegranate, and berries.
Try some red and white currents, they are delicious, low maintenance and really frost hardy. Birds will eat the red berries and usually not the white because they don't look ripe like the red ones do. The white ones are super delicious!
I was here when you hatched the emus I've followed your journey for a long time and love the channel your farm has really grown over the past couple of years keep it going
I think your mandarin ducks and your peacocks are the most beautiful birds you have. Your farm is just amazing and you all do such a wonderful job caring for them. You've turned it into a family project so it's so fun for the kids. Well done everyone. I so enjoy your videos and I learn so much from you all. Thank you so much.
I love your farm so much! I have 8 chickens, wich is a lot for our family :). I absolutely love your videos when you show your chickens!! We have a Buff Orphington, Americana, Delaware, Barred Rock, Olive Egger, Cream Legbar, Speckled sussex, and an Ayam Cemani!! They’re all hens. ❤️ Lots of love from our family!!
I love your channel, it’s so nice to peek into the lives of your sweet family and farm! The farm is what we aspire to but small scale, having grown children now. Can’t wait to watch the progression of all the projects etc. God Bless!
Farm looks great! I love the portable chicken coop. It is really fancy. I love your variety of chickens. I really do like Peacocks. Your kids are living their BEST lives!
My 2yo son and I like to watch your videos together, I really enjoy your content and my son loves seeing all the animals and doing the animal sounds to go along with it.
I feel like I’m one of the family. Much love to all of you. Did I miss the bee update? How are the kids doing with school and learning? Do they have hobbies? What do they want to be when they grow up? What do you all like to read or favorite tv shows? What do mom and dad like to do on your down time? Thank you for choosing this way of life. 🥰🐹🙏🏼🐝
I started watching your channel when Peakaboo was hatching..can't believe it's been 3yrs already. That got me interested in hatching eggs too. Love your channel.
Wow. I've been watching you since the emu hatching project. Can't believe it's been three years already. Your videos just bring so much joy. I love watching animals and you're always doing these cool building projects. Lots of love from Germany! 💜
I loved hearing about all this. Took me back. I started watching y'all shortly after you started apparently. Love watching your beautiful family grow. Y'all are amazing. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
You should totally get the kids to ice skate on the pond, I think they would have a lot of fun with that! I used to do this on my grandpas farm every winter!
Ya know, kinda can't help loving what you are responsible for! I love everything y'all have, esp. that Joey girl!😍 Looking forward to seeing more awesome projects!💞
bro kept the emus to created long lasting memories for the kids, thats a beautiful father move. thats a really nice farm you have their and the exotic birds are really well kept healthy and astonishingly beautiful :)
I think I found you guys and started following you guys around the time of the peacock egg videos, and was solidly hooked after the emu egg videos! Love all the varieties of birds you have tried to hatch, I haven't seen anything else quite like it (not to mention your whole family dynamic is super wholesome, which I appreciate).
My goodness that aviary is going to be freakin huge I thought Blakes was big but y’all will be the biggest for sure another great family video take care guys God bless
It's always such a joy to watch you and your family with all your beautiful animals, your doing a great job bringing your kids up with all those animals and I'm sure when they have grown up they will treasure those lovely moments like running around with emu's and watching birds hatch out and take their first breath, so beautiful ❤️ I wish I some land ♥️♥️♥️👍
Hello guys. Thank you for the tour. The white and green rooster coop looks like a space shuttle. Cute I did not know cats could survive outside in 5 degree F Edit: it is so cute to watch Bamboo following Backy’s every steps.
Hello! I love your channel so much you guys are my absolute favorite! When i'm old enough i want to have a farm with lots of animals. (My favorite animal is a chicken/cockatiel) And thank you so much for sending me a Christmas card! It made me so happy, i didn't think you would actually send something back. but thank you guy's so much for your amazing channel and everything you do!! and your animals are so amazing!! Love from Lacey and Her chickens.
Our daughter had a Red Golden x Lady Amherst pheasant when she was in 4-H Beautiful bird. We never went for breeding or anything like that. He lived with her chickens and peacock. They all got along, for the most part. She was a chicken whisperer!
Hey guys, I used to watch your channel all the time last year. Lost when I switched over to new account . Last I saw you had just bought new Peacock eggs trying to get them to hatch after one disaster. Hope that worked. Love all those different hen egg colors. Never knew they came in so many different colors. Wow, that's awesome, learn something every day. Take care.
love seeing all the critters!!! I can't wait to see the aviary.. you should talk to Greg the pond guy over at Aquascape about building the aviary pond.... He is AMAZING and creates water works of art!! I would love to see THAT RUclips collaboration!!!!
I think Bamboo identifies Becky as his Mum, he follows her a lot. I heard somewhere that a ratio of one male and three Emus works best, they become a flock but if there are only two females they fight for the male . Thanks for the tour, it will be exciting to see all the birds in the aviary.
... LOL... at the end, that was a wimpy slide...!!! ... amazing how when one becomes a mom, taking chances diminish, for fear of getting hurt and who would take care of the kids...? ... happy for the new vid, been missing your company ...
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. I love seeing how far you've come! Started watching in early 2018 and still one of my favourite channels on YT
Your farm and family have both grown so much. Always so happy to see your videos and get updates on the farm and the family. 🙂👍 Have you ever watched the hatching videos by A Chick Called Albert? Wondering what you may think, as he seems to have the same love for animals as your family. Also, I'm so excited for the hook bill hatching project!!
Wow! You have an amazing group of very pretty birds! We have big birds like emus and turkeys and of course ranging ducks and chickens but it is so cool to see these cute little birds! Thanks for sharing!
Can't wait to see the aviary will finished and a lot of birds are there free ranging. I was watching your channel since you guys are starting making videos from the start. Hope you guys a good luck and more videos to come 😁😁
I'd love to see a video of yall learning how to make different types cheeses, like cottage cheese or cheddar, it would even be cool to see Becky make butter.! Then maybe you can start trying to make different meals out of only things you guys produce/grow. Anyways love your family and the videos ❤

That’s when I started watching too!!
Nothing to show at the moment. The bees are locked down for winter. This was about the animals that we’re caring for this winter.

Thanks, Cass ❤️
