What does the little springs do to the bov?
Which spring makes a higher pitch noise
I installed mine last night in my 2023 and it Sounds badass. The light spring hissed the whole time. So I swapped to the medium and it hissed less. Then it got too late. I’m thinking of switching to the heavy. Will that calm down the constant hiss while just driving? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank ya
It would but other than sound the hissing causes no issues and technically the lighter the spring the better it will perform.

I just ordered one of these last night for my 2023 x3. I can’t wait to get it on. It sounds really good in the video. I’m trying to understand which spring is the loudest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and will this suck water in. 😂 just playen. I watched that video too.
The medium spring is the most popular, but honestly its all personal preference!

Does the oem intercooler fan work with the factory plug without a tune? On a 120hp x3
Factory ecu needs programmed to turn it on we offer tuners and even fan over ride harness’s also.
Does the filter is needed if i go do mud/ deep water? Or can i leave filter off?
Only if you plan on submerging the BOV

Medium spring. Lighter spring is technically louder. Try them all, it’s personal preference!
Thanks for the quick reply, I just noticed mine is the V1 BOV and only comes with one other spring. I’m assuming the one extra spring is a heavy spring? Or is it a lighter spring. Thanks again

Thanks again, it sounds amazing!! I prefer the sound of the medium spring. My buddy with a EVO BOV is jealous how much better this BOV sounds over his.
The 120hp and the 135hp X3's do not come with an intercooler, correct? I want to add an intercooler to my machine.

No turbo surge and faster re spool time = better throttle response.
