In November this year we have owned our boat for 30 years we have sailed half way round the world and its still not finished ,make sure you have no safety issues and just GET GOING
Congrats on a successful season 1. It is clear to me that you guys have the perfect team to get anything done.... I look forward to season 2, season 3 etc.
Drill out the old screws. Tap new threads and put Tef-gel on the new screws when installing the new anchor light. Don't use 5200. Take the time to do the job correctly.
PB Blaster on the screws. Use a Impact driver to loosen the screws. I have used it for motorcycle cover screws that are very difficult to loosen. Even if it breaks off the screw heads, you can then drill them out or drill and tap new holes.
"Sorta"...is again, SOP (literally a dozen or so ) half finished projects...slow, half and false starts! I feel your pain...ha Wish I brought a rag...ooo yeah! dontchaknow!
Omfg you guyz! LOL! Batteries, Bugs, Borzois, Brackets... Holy crap, you’re killing me! Lol! Hang in there, I love your “can-do” attitude. I woulda quit long ago. Beam winds(when you eventually get out there).
That "quick connect is called a Hi-Feild Lever". If tensioned correctly can add additional support to the mast in heavy weather as well as being the inner forestay that you use for your storm-sail.
Gotta love your site you two always have a smile taken on the challenges of keeping a live-aboard boat afloat . You did a great job on the keel and glassing the bilge I look forward to watching your future adventures or misadventures ,,,,keep smiling we will along with you...Cheers !
Glad to see you found another quick disconnect for a good price! We sure hope that season 2 allows you to do a lot of what you were wanting to do (Sailing). Hopefully your battery problems get resolved and you don’t have any more expenses for replacement batteries. We wish you all the best getting your light replaced. I would soak the screws for at least 24 hours and then use a impact driver. P,PC & W loved the hair cut scene. Thank you for inviting us along on your journey.
I wish you the best 😊glad you can still find happiness in it all 👍Your channel is surely unique but in a good way.0The water hose shots were hilarious on both sides!!!Take one day at a time I always say🥴
So, no resolution of the dead LFP batteries? Then how are you functioning at anchor? Also, if we are to learn from this, while in a marina with shore power, how did your LFP batteries get drained to zero?
@ 11:00 (maybe a little B4) Is that a ChrisCraft n the back ground? If so would you happen to know the length & yr? I know sometimes we'll talk to our neighbors @ the dock😊
Impact driver and hammer will shock out hardware. Also bedbug fogger kills bee's and hornets, tape to boathouse, energize then hold under nest... all dead
im guessing you've sorted the battery problem but if you haven't did you turn on the boat charger before you hooked up the jumper hope it worked out for you
I'll keep saying it until the marine industry wakes the you know what UP...your engaged in either a enterprise or hobby where just knowing that electrical systems leech electrons especially so with exposed areas. There is and has been 1 product that does a credible job at lessening that problem, and not just reducing but almost eliminating it. If you're using anything other than Boeshield T 9 then stop. There's a reason that this product has been available from West Marine. I do not represent the product or West Marine. I've used it for decades now with great success.
A toast to you and mrs here to better days to come John and marie thank you to the crew of flow 😊😊😊

You would think an impact driver with the proper size Philips bit would loosen the screws on your anchor light
Exactly.. If it doesn't loosen it it up then drill it out and tap it..
You got very lucky with that wasp nest….they can be really nasty.
Good to know you managed to leave :)
Congrats on completing season one 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥂🥂🥂

up and coming can not wait
Congratulations on season 1, nice job! If you haven’t fixed the anchor light yet, can you break up the old base, then grab the screws with vice grips?

There is always a solution to every problem ...... sort of .
Well done you guys… congratulations on finishing season 1
Impact driver good for seized screws .
Man I was getting worried 😟 but yippee you came through 😊
25:36 and the dog just stood there….. Short hair is better in hot weather!
Take the old Hi-Field lever to any engineering workshop and they will fix it in minutes. Don't bash it, press it.
