If you're not subscribed you are missing out. Plain and simple. Alex's content is incredible and has taught me SO much. Not just in music but even self motivation and even some business/marketing. You will not be disappointed!
Alex, there's definitely something that I've been struggling with and it's actually exactly the opposite of this video. I can make good strings arrangements and that's my problem. Every track I make I almost cannot complete my tracks with some sections containing spiccatos or some orchestrated chords and arrangements. Even when I make hybrid music it's heavily orchestral more than the sound design aspect. It's actually very challenging to force myself to write without strings. If you can actually make a video about other elements in a trailer track that people should also focus on other than strings and how to think outside the box. As it makes me feel like an amateur who knows nothing but strings and some brass. I know that trailer music is not about reinventing but at the same time this might make my all of my tracks sound the same without any variation.
Oh boy, yes of course it's Cmaj. That's embarrassing 😂 I checked the video several times for mistakes but for some reason this one slipped through. Thanks for the find!
Hey Alex most of your links do not work, only the trailer course, which if any were going to work that the one! But the rest is coming, page not found.
Thank you, I know you were joking but even if you can play the piano, it doesn't mean you know how to build an epic string section. The opposite would be the case if you have studied orchestral composition because even then, most of the time, both, epic trailer music and orchestral "classical" composition are completely two different things :)

Nice video to the point and in 5 minutes you have some great sounding strings. As always your tutorials are the best out there! Thanks again!
Great! Thanks 😉
Thank You So Much Alex For Making These Awesome Tutorials, They Really Are Very Helpful.
Thank you so much! Glad you like them!
very useful thanks
My first thought on hearing the first bit of strings? 'This is free?!'. Nice short and informative video!
Thank you!
That’s the Coldplay/Scientist chord progression. I loved learning that on piano and it sounds great here too.
Yep, I actually don't know how many songs are in this chord progression. Give me a few hours and I probably find a few dozen more 😃
Short but sweet! Great tips as always.
I think the second chord is a C maj not Gmaj. So Emin Cmaj Gmaj Dmaj.

Again such a helpful video. What about a small series on how to continue with that?
Very Ccooooool !!!🤩🤩🤩
thanks man!
Very good. What is the best sample library for epic music?
Well, there are many. What specifically?
@@AlexPfeffer east west for example. Are they good?
absolutely!@@KarloTheFighter
You made the same video about 10 years ago I still remember 😁
Well, some content stays the same and there are always new composers 😃
@@AlexPfeffer I was not blaming at all, just for you to know that you have long term followers :)
Oh yes, I know and I can't be more thankful 😍

Awesome, thanks for all your comments and points! Working on the faulty links right now. A service running out ended a bit earlier than I recalled 😅😂
Hi Buddy
Can you write an epic intro for me for the song Prayer...by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocellie
Can't do it personally but I know people who can. Send me more info to alex@alexpfeffer.co
Or, you could just learn how to play the piano and it’ll take five seconds 😂
Great tutorial
