The way Chasca work is really similar to Neuvillette. A Charged ATK DPS that wants a rainbow team & their C1 alleviating that restriction. And just like Neuvi, you don't need a rainbow team with strong enough supports.
this is so goofy like she's similar to Nilou in a sense that most of her elemental damage doesn't even COME from her element. it's crazy to think that there might be more characters like this in the future.
Chasca best aspect is that as a multi-element main DPS she probably has most team combinations in the game. In addition to her Hypercarry (Bennett, Furina, and Xilonen) and Ororon Electro-Charged teams, I can see Chasca being good in freeze, mono element for Pyro/Hydro/Electro/Cyro, aggravate, burn (with Emilie) The main issue she has is her lack of focus may make her seem great but not exceptional compared to other main DPS units. I feel we won't get a good idea of her true potential until she has been released and content creaters can test her out for real.

C6 Diona is all I have to say. You use Chasca with the Furina Bennett core as said in the video and enjoy the massive reaction damage thanks to the 200 EM you have guaranteed. This should be fairly crazy. Still don't care to get her. I'm mostly set on dps and there's the randomness in which she'll trigger her reactions.
There's actually a lot of odd support choices that weirdly work. Kujo Sara gives a big atk buff that doesn't limit you to circle impact, but her c6 only buffs the electro bullets. Shenhe buffs her cryo bullets massively, that plus a little bit of elemental damage boost. Not bad. Layla gives phenomenal shield and E based perma uptime, AND can apply off field, and hold Tenacity for atk buffs, and her c4 buffs chascas primary damage: CA. And I don't even like cryo! For hydro there's Furina and Mona, or if you want to keep it simple, even Barbara will work if you want heals plus hydro bullets. For pyro, obviously Bennett is king, but Thoma isn't bad, nor is dehya... but when Mavuika comes out, she might be as good as Bennett when it comes to supporting chasca because: no circle impact presumably, and she can hold scroll of hero of cinder city, and do off field application... supposedly 🤷♂️??? For electro, Raiden, Fischl, Kujosara , kuki and Ororon all look great.

Don’t think it’ll work, as diona’s em buff requires for you to be on its radius and chasca will be in the air. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not, but I was playing wanderer with Diona for shield and heals, and her heals were not reaching him in the air unlike Jean and Bennett
i love chasca, her design i love, and the only thing that throws me off is her in game models eyes, they’re so piercing- but maybe just intentional, anyways, after playing the 5.1 archon quest, i love her more
For now I'm really enjoying the character to the point that I'm thinking about getting C1 and Signature, I even thought about a team but I really need to wait and see how she's going to be, I hope she works well with Mavuika
Now that I think about it, every Anemo dps came with a very unique playstyle at the time of their release: Xiao with plunges, Heizou first hand to hand combat unit, Wanderer first who could continuously attack while floating, normal attack while moving, as well as doing damage while dashing and now Chasca, the first Anemo-not really Anemo dps (tbh kinda something I've been looking forward to ever since I saw Traveler's tornado being able to absorb an element when I started the game).
@CoraVocaloidUser actually they are similar but different as well. Wanderer doesn't care about reactions at all and prefers hyper carry setups. Chasca wants different elements on her team which in turn forces her into reaction dmg cus of how her kit works. It's because they're so alike the hyv is really pushing multi-element teams with Chasca to make her different from from Wanderer. They're also making her better in traversal and she seems to have interrupt resist while flying. She's basically a wanderer refresh or V2 Wanderer cus they're are solving some complaints people have about his kit in a new character classic hyv🙄. Still pulling tho, her gun animation makes her dope Af hope they buff her a little more and resolve her current ICD concerns🤞🙏

I'm sort of a meta player and pulling another Anemo DPS keeps me 2nd doubting if that's the best choice especially with citlali and the speculations around her she might be a better pull for my account. Really at a loss cus Chasca wants both Bennett and Furina and I use my Bennett with Wanderer. Regardless I'd still pull Chasca cus she's the reason why I'm back to Genshin rn. I thinks she would have worked beet as a purely reaction focused dps. EM ascension, EM weapon, EM talent scaling, and passives like "when skill or burst have elemental conversion EM increased by 40 per each different converted element" and "when party member triggers nightsoul burst, all PHEC related reaction damage increased by 8/16/30% for 15 seconds." That would've made her a very unique take on a dps, instead of caring about crit just going all out on reaction damage.
I really wish wish her C1 allowed her burst to maintain maximum bullet conversion with non PECH character on the team as well :( I hope they fix that before her release.
Crazy xilonen glaze, not only does xilonen make you lose out on 1.33 bullets per CA and also two bullets per burst which is about 6 bullets or 1800% motion value she only buffs half of the bullets full damage. Xilonen wants to be played at c1 and even at c1 kazuha is better if you can double swirl due to reducing chascas er by around 40%-30% which is a bigger increase. Bennet also makes xilonens healing redundent if you can build him with 30k-25k hp and a full healer build with 9k heals.
theorycrafters have accounted for this and Xilonen STILL looks like one of her best teammates on the current sheets despite the loss in converted bullets. in terms of Kazuha, the extra anemo particles is nice for her. however, double swirling is more difficult and the buff is shorter. he's definitely a usable support, but I think Xilonen will be better in practice
Becauss of chasca doing multi elemental, save to say that Furina will be her most BIS teammate.. Alongside Xilonen or Zhongli for their multi elements res shred.. But, with xilonen or zhongli she needs her C1 to fully optimized the team.. With xilonen, the last slot can be anything.. But with zhongli, the last slot needs to be a healer..
At the moment, I’m planning to use Chasca with Ororon and Furina. As for the 4th slot, I’m going between Jean, Bennett, and Barbara (I don’t have Xilonen). Jean could be a good teamwide healer for Furina, but she’s anemo. Bennett would be a good buffer, but he might ruin the electro-charged reaction for Ororon. Barbara is my final option for a good teamwide healer who would work with electro-charged, but I’m worried her skill will cause unwelcome reactions from enemies and possibly cause a freeze catastrophe and Chasca getting stun locked. If no one works, then I guess I’m going for Kokomi when she reruns lol. Either that or I have to hope I randomly get Mona and that she works as well as Furina (because the hp mechanic is hard to work around with my limited roster) for off-field application and buffing so I can use Fischl, Dori, Electro Traveler, or Beidou in the final slot
Every character I like is hated by the Jenshin "fans" (Eula, Emilie, Yanfei, Candace) so I will 100% pull for Chasca to explore the world. My C2 Furina and C3 R1 Raiden can do the abyss 😂
Too much goin on the simpler the better in my opinion. I agree it's kinda goofy if she rides a gun I'll be saving my wishes and taking a breather from all the great banners we've been pummeled with she seems to definitely be intended to be used if she's your favorite and you wanna hyper carry main as her.
Would be cool if the elements she infuses damage was based off of the team mates build, and her build only helps her animo damage. Though she looks super fun to play i gota skip her because i need good hydro so gona pull for Neuvelette, then Mav, only hydro i have so far is Mona and Xingqiu.

Her weapon mainstat is crit rate but her mechanic seem scaling more with EM. Her passive does have something to do with swirl. On GI dmg calculator her raw anemo dmg is very low. Ororon will be 4⭐ electro bow🤭
The bullets graphic is from StockedSix in WFP or Niloumains not me ! Amos is still better than the available craftables even without a passive btw, just by having more raw stats.
So then just go hydro cryo pyro, so no matter what order it will always melt or vape the enemies. Even if the order caused a hydro cryo reaction (freeze) its still considered a cryo so pyro will still melt enemies
i think her C1 is better then her weapon only if you have xilonen with her being the best at providing res shred for multiple elements and the damage bonus since they is no other way to get res shred on her teams so ill be going for C1 first then R1
Kazuha is usually better because if you go furina skill burst bennet skill then burst then kazuha skill and burst you can easily get the double swirl and since chasca only needs about 10 seconds for skill to burst it's enough buff uptime while you get grouping extra damage and lower er requirments with bennet being enough as a healer.
from the calcs I've seen, even when using XIlonen on the team weapon is still currently better. there are still beta patches coming soon so this may change
In practice, no. She would have to swirl each element before the charge shot to get res shred, and swirl multipliers are low so you’ll probably want Atk, Atk, Crit. Also, her kit makes you want 3 diff elements as teammates so no VV on the team most likely
chasca's main attacks revolve around her special charged attacks. this involves holding the attack button, waiting to load bullets, and firing once all of them are loaded. Xingqiu/Yelan's off-field hydro damage only applies when your active character performs a normal attack. Thus, Chasca can't use them
I think you are underestimating c1 a bit. It gives you the option to bring Xilonen or Kazuha(with vv) as a teammate. In a team that only has 2 different elements instead of 3, c1 should be around 30% dmg increase on avarage
from the TC i've seen, it is at best 15-20% in the teams you mentioned. her signature gives more than that, which is why I downplay it a bit. It's still decent tho
It might be more interesting to play her with only Pyro and hydro supports tho. Not only do you get to vape like no tomorrow, but the Natlan set will always buff both hydro and pyro damages (you're not getting Anemo buffed because you'll have your vape before you even swap onto Chaska) So Chaska, Furina, Mavuika, Bennett, with the support artefacts set on Mavuika, would be awesome. But even then, I'm not sure it makes the C1 particularly interesting.
Wouldn't it be nice if GI implements an endgame similar to HSR Apoc Shadow where only world bosses are the only enemies. Abyss is good but it's getting much easier to clear and Imaginarium is just a pointless endgame.

I just don’t like when a character has a certain percentage of dealing damage or of certain element which is on her case. Another point to me it just feels that genshin is losing its identity. These Natlan characters are beautiful but they don’t really fit in Genshin lore. A character that surfs on a shark? A dragon pixel? A geo DJ? Where is the electricity? A archon that might rides a motorcycle? Where is the fuel for it? What’s next the Cryo archon inside a spaceship? But that’s me yapping 😂

Either bro has not been playing Genshin or didn't focus on Genshin lore. Like the Raiden papet and Wanderer are advanced artificial beings created by Raiden and no one questioned about that, then there is Khaenriah tech, Fontain tec, Sumeru tec, Adeptal tech, so on. The only mediaeval looking place is Mondstat. Genshin has never been a mediaeval focused fantasy.
If you have done Natlan open world exploration, you would have known that the fuel is phlogiston and charging stations are everywhere. Sharks, hooks, skates, (motorbike ?) needs Nightsoul which is charged by phlogiston stations. Not forgetting that Xilonen can make almost any gadgets.
Yeah, probably no one will pull Wanderer if they already have her bc she give more Dps, exploration ability. You can say she is being wanderer pro max 🤡 She also have good free 4* craftable weapon that can easily be obtained not like wanderer😓 And lastly she will be more popular just bc she a female since 80% player are male 🫠

Every character I like is hated by the Jenshin "fans" (Eula, Emilie, Yanfei, Candace) so I will 100% pull for Chasca to explore the world. My C2 Furina and C3 R1 Raiden can do the abyss 😂

Too much goin on the simpler the better in my opinion. I agree it's kinda goofy if she rides a gun I'll be saving my wishes and taking a breather from all the great banners we've been pummeled with she seems to definitely be intended to be used if she's your favorite and you wanna hyper carry main as her.
Would be cool if the elements she infuses damage was based off of the team mates build, and her build only helps her animo damage. Though she looks super fun to play i gota skip her because i need good hydro so gona pull for Neuvelette, then Mav, only hydro i have so far is Mona and Xingqiu.

I was hoping for off field dps. Three Natlan 5 star dps and the only 5 star buffer can’t buff two of them.
Ororon and Kachina are sub dps but not 5 star and Kachina isn't that good

Her weapon mainstat is crit rate but her mechanic seem scaling more with EM. Her passive does have something to do with swirl. On GI dmg calculator her raw anemo dmg is very low.

Amos is still better than the available craftables even without a passive btw, just by having more raw stats.
So then just go hydro cryo pyro, so no matter what order it will always melt or vape the enemies. Even if the order caused a hydro cryo reaction (freeze) its still considered a cryo so pyro will still melt enemies

i think her C1 is better then her weapon only if you have xilonen with her being the best at providing res shred for multiple elements and the damage bonus since they is no other way to get res shred on her teams so ill be going for C1 first then R1
Kazuha is usually better because if you go furina skill burst bennet skill then burst then kazuha skill and burst you can easily get the double swirl and since chasca only needs about 10 seconds for skill to burst it's enough buff uptime while you get grouping extra damage and lower er requirments with bennet being enough as a healer.

from the calcs I've seen, even when using XIlonen on the team weapon is still currently better. there are still beta patches coming soon so this may change

In practice, no. She would have to swirl each element before the charge shot to get res shred, and swirl multipliers are low so you’ll probably want Atk, Atk, Crit. Also, her kit makes you want 3 diff elements as teammates so no VV on the team most likely

Could you explain further why Xingqiu wouldn’t work well with her? I was ready to team her up with Raiden/ Xingqiu/ and Bennett 😭
chasca's main attacks revolve around her special charged attacks. this involves holding the attack button, waiting to load bullets, and firing once all of them are loaded. Xingqiu/Yelan's off-field hydro damage only applies when your active character performs a normal attack. Thus, Chasca can't use them

I think Mona would be good (esp with TToDS) but her Omen/ reaction buff doesn't last long
I think you are underestimating c1 a bit. It gives you the option to bring Xilonen or Kazuha(with vv) as a teammate. In a team that only has 2 different elements instead of 3, c1 should be around 30% dmg increase on avarage
from the TC i've seen, it is at best 15-20% in the teams you mentioned. her signature gives more than that, which is why I downplay it a bit. It's still decent tho

It might be more interesting to play her with only Pyro and hydro supports tho.
Not only do you get to vape like no tomorrow, but the Natlan set will always buff both hydro and pyro damages (you're not getting Anemo buffed because you'll have your vape before you even swap onto Chaska)
So Chaska, Furina, Mavuika, Bennett, with the support artefacts set on Mavuika, would be awesome.
But even then, I'm not sure it makes the C1 particularly interesting.

Wouldn't it be nice if GI implements an endgame similar to HSR Apoc Shadow where only world bosses are the only enemies. Abyss is good but it's getting much easier to clear and Imaginarium is just a pointless endgame.

genshin is losing its identity. These Natlan characters are beautiful but they don’t really fit in Genshin lore. A character that surfs on a shark? A dragon pixel? A geo DJ? Where is the electricity? A archon that might rides a motorcycle? Where is the fuel for it? What’s next the Cryo archon inside a spaceship? But that’s me yapping 😂

Either bro has not been playing Genshin or didn't focus on Genshin lore. Like the Raiden papet and Wanderer are advanced artificial beings created by Raiden and no one questioned about that, then there is Khaenriah tech, Fontain tec, Sumeru tec, Adeptal tech, so on. The only mediaeval looking place is Mondstat. Genshin has never been a mediaeval focused fantasy.
If you have done Natlan open world exploration, you would have known that the fuel is phlogiston and charging stations are everywhere. Sharks, hooks, skates, (motorbike ?) needs Nightsoul which is charged by phlogiston stations.
Not forgetting that Xilonen can make almost any gadgets.
